Craftsman: Dwarves are known for their superior craftsmanship when it comes to metallurgy and stonework. Dwarves with this racial trait receive a +2 racial bonus on all Craft or Profession checks related to metal or stone. This racial trait replaces greed.

Giant Hunter: Dwarves with this racial trait gain a +1 bonus on attack rolls against humanoids with the giant subtype. Furthermore, they gain a +2 bonus on Survival checks to find and follow tracks made by humanoids with the giant subtype. This racial trait replaces the hatred racial trait.

Magic Resistant: Some of the older dwarven clans are particularly resistant to magic. Dwarves with this racial trait gain spell resistance equal to 5 + their character level. This resistance can be lowered for 1 round as a standard action. Dwarves with this racial trait take a –2 penalty on all concentration checks made in relation to arcane spells. This racial trait replaces hardy.

Stability: Dwarves gain a +4 racial bonus to their Combat Maneuver Defense when resisting a bull rush or trip attempt while standing on the ground.

Metalcunning: Dwarves gain a +2 bonus on Perception checks to notice unusual Metalwork, such as traps and hidden doors located in Metal walls or floors. They receive a check to notice such features whenever they pass within 10 feet of them, whether or not they are actively looking.

Weapon Familiarity: Dwarves are proficient with battleaxes, heavy picks, and warhammers, and treat any weapon with the word "dwarven" in its name as a martial weapon.

Nemesis:

On one drunken night, an Ogre smashed his way into a pub and threw Rindovaan Curly Stubs through a wall, claiming the Dwarf’s Aunties, Uncle’s, Nephew’s, Son’s best friend was caught sneaking into his household, placing tiny “pokey prods” (caltrops) on every chair in the Ogres (Ballac HasselHeart’s) household. When the boy (Turpin Reynold’s) was caught…..and before his skull was brutally ripped out through the front of his face, the boy, out of fear, told the Ogre that it was Curly Stubs idea and that Mr. Curly Stubs hates all Ogre’s, gaining excitement from making a fool out of every one.

This wasn’t the case however, as Rindovaan hadn’t met an Ogre or even heard of Ballac before this point, and due to the lies of one foolish and mischievous boy not even related to Rindovaan, the Ogre’s family (the HasselHeart clan) now relentlessly hunts down the Dwarf, spawning undead and ambushing him seemingly whenever he lets his guard down.

As such, Mr.Curly Stubs wants his revenge and plans to humiliate the three of them by tying them together with a few of his ridiculously strong Dreadlocks (which won’t take him long to regrow), and leaving them hanging over a cliff until they learn their lesson.

Back story:

Crafting Steel has always been an interest of Rin's and when his parents told him he needed to leave home to find his own way in life, the young but old looking Dwarf found himself multiple jobs to jump between.

Eventually he earned himself enough money to open up his own shop, calling it "Rins Weapons - Where Might and Craft collide"

Focusing on Armour and Weapons mainly, Rin's shop was more of a personal thing really. It was a workshop for him to practice his trade and work on personal projects that he'd think up, with the occasional commissioned piece for anyone willing to part with enough coin.

This didn't last for long however. The earthquakes and Drow made sure of that!

Living through the first earthquake was fine. The second was a little worse but it was the third that destroyed everything and opened up the ground of Varrok's Deep, creating a shortcut for the Drow dwelling beneath to surface up from.

Rin somehow survived most of his shack falling on top of and around him, and was miraculously unnoticed by the Dark Elves that slayed his kin around him.

Many were killed and Rin was lucky enough to have escaped with his life from the Five Kings Mountains.

As his home was destroyed, locals were killed and enslaved by drow while the surviving women and children were left helpless and to the mercy of the torturous elves, without their father's or husband's/partners.

Having no anvil and nothing but his hammer, goggles and chisel remaining, Rin moved away to a remote village near Hook Mountain. It was far enough from his home to allow him to put what had happened behind him, seeming like an ideal location to purchase an anvil and start crafting once more with his trusty tools.

He lived here for around a year until one day, minding his own business at a local tavern, an Ogre interrupted...

Now, having caught wind of the Skuldafn Expeditionary League heading out on a quest to Arcadia and out of respect for Hraggir Skuldafn (a Dwarf whose funeral he attended three years ago), Rin has journeyed to the port where the Destiny's Hand stays, joining a troupe of 200 dwarven men and women under the lead of Hraggir's son, Vigar Skuldafn, to found a dwarven settlement in the newfound lands across the Arcadian ocean.

Whether the Hasselheart clan has been following him or not, is yet to be discovered, but with the amount of drive and hatred they have towards Rin, it wouldn't come as a surprise to the blonde, Dwarven man.
