Rimesnap scuttles to the other side of Beezhul, and unleashes another volley of frozen pine needles from their body in a 15-foot cone that envelopes her and Feathor.

LOL I had to fix these to constant numbers from 1d6 because changing the alias to rimesnap altered the rolls... and I'd prefer to just keep the original post.

piercing, cold (DC 18 basic Reflex save): 1 = 12 = 2
Using Beezhul's provided rolls, failure for full damage but the resistance absorbs the damage.

Feathor: DC 18 basic Reflex save vs. 1 piercing + 2 cold

GM Screen:
Cooldown rounds: 2 = 2

Where did my goblins go!! the twigjack snarles indignantly, starting to get the idea that perhaps the backup forces were not optional.

It begins slashing at Beezhul with its clawed branches.

GM Screen:

claw attack, S damage: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 111d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
plus 1d4 persistent cold
claw attack, S damage: 1d20 + 9 - 4 ⇒ (20) + 9 - 4 = 251d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
plus 1d4 persistent cold
claw attack, S damage: 1d20 + 9 - 8 ⇒ (12) + 9 - 8 = 131d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
plus 1d4 persistent cold

Beezhul easily dodges the first, and on landing catches a nasty, roughly-barked wooden claw to the abdomen. This motivates a light fast dodge of the third swip, as the wound quickly fills with frost.

1 crit for 10 slashing damage (after resistance), and 1d4 persistent cold

The twigjack seems particularly incensed that his goblin minions have been turned!

He grabs a talisman hanging from his neck. Suddenly the multitudes of impaled ravens around the clearing begin to twitch. Their energy increases until they fly off of the spikes they resided on, collecting in the air as two undead swarms!

ACTION please place yourselves anywhere in the BLUE square on the new slide!

You mean these? he gestures at the models at his feet. They appear to be models for designs that would unleash untold destruction upon our wilderness. I rather think we'll be keeping them.

The twigjack gives a sinister smile, looking around at the winter goblins assembled in his "court."

Rimesnap makes a grandiose appeal to the assembled winter goblins, demanding that any champions step forward to protect their king.

NOTE You all have an opportunity here to use diplomacy or intimidation to make an appeal to the goblins before they initiate violence.

"We crave your pardon," says Elidathas, hoping to cover for Beezhul. "But we act upon the authority of another court and claim the right of Emissaries. Please, convey us to your court."

Rimesnap chuckles as soon as the phrase "authority of another court" falls out. It's clear what he thinks of the authority of Irrisen.

Eladithas I presume that diplomacy was to make a Request that the trains be returned? This Rimesnap will refuse outright.

As you approach, the mob of goblins falls uncharacteristically silent, eyes darting between the intruders and Rimesnap. The fey turns their eyeless face to the trespassers, somehow twisting their featureless countenance into something resembling haughty curiosity. In a voice that sounds like frosted branches snapping underfoot, they ask, "What humanoids dare impose upon our court?"
