I second more unique mount boons and boons that allow players to increase some of the cool named magic items. I have seen awesome stuff that being only a +1 weapon or such makes it not worth it in the long run.

In the theme of encouraging the cooperate theme of pathfinder a boon that lets me as the player select and teamwork feat per normal and then a boon that lets me also share that teamwork feat with one other player at the table for the game. Basically the tactician ability or something similar.

A boon that allows me to make a skill a class skill for my character so I don't have to multiclass so much.

A boon that can give out some sort of cool vanity option or allow it to be purchased with prestige that we normally cannot.

I have one character who ran all of the emerald spire and made a kingdom from it. My half-orc barbarian King Volug of Volugstien and he is lvl 15. I also have his son now Prince Volug who has joined the society to prove to his father that he has what it takes to be a future king.

My other family is huge! I have about 6 local players and friends who all have dwarves and we all share the clan name of Jarnbalkr. All of our characters start out with 1 level in drill sergeant fighter archtype with shield wall. This way we are all trained to be part of our clans famous dwarven shield wall. I think we are up to almost 12 different dwarves that are in the clan and most of us have a variation of the name Bjorn.

I am a GM who personally does not care if the character is min/maxed or not. It is not going to bother me in any way as to how the character is built. As a GM my job is to help facilitate the story line of the scenario and make sure all of the rules are being followed. I run the monsters as the scenario says. Sure occasionally a min/maxed character who does 100 points of damage in one turn will get a home run and just outright kill the big bad and that is great. He is having fun and has done what he wanted to do. On the other side I then watched the same character play a game that involved a chase scene and he was miserable and brought nothing to the table to help the party. That is just how it falls. No player or GM should take it personally and if you are take a step back and realize it is a game and a chance for a group of people to come together and interact with a story.

If you have the same group of players who are player together a lot vary up the scenarios from combat ones, to social ones, to skill based ones. This allows everyone a chance to shine.

Again the most important thing to remember. It's a game don't take it personally.

My bard of Shelyn uses the Banner of Ancient Kings with the Flagbearer feat and has his own group called the Songbirds. Everyone at the beginning of the scenario is offered to join the Songbirds and are given a unique bird name once joining. We even had a GM once get into it and referred to all the players for the entire scenario by their bird names. You can let the Banner be whatever you want as long as you are not a jerk to players and give them the option to join and gain the benefit.
