SoT, reveal Staff of Greater Healing to heal 1 - Ice Chemist, and then pass off to Ezren. Raheli heads deeper into the Ruins to try and clear out some of the additional threats. She quickly recognizes a trap and sets about to disarm it. Recharge Staff of Life (5) on check to defeat, go big so we don't take more damage... Crematory Blast-CtD: Intelligence 10: 1d8 + 2 + 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 2 + (1) + 5 = 10 Success, banished. Well that was entirely too close. Discard Lyrune-quah Moon Maiden to examine - Locked Door, and explore. Behind that trap she finds a locked door that she quickly sets about picking the lock with her hair. Locked Door-CtD: Disable 12: 1d10 + 4 + 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 + (4) + 4 = 16 Success, free explore. Behind the locked door, Raheli finds a Bow. It's not something she has too much interest in...so she passes it by. Autofail Vindicator, banished. Turn 17, Old Deadeye
Raheli again receives a lovely staff from one of her friends, she waves it at herself and suddenly feels less Dazed. She sadly looks over at Quinn who seems to be expecting something. Reluctantly she passes the staff onward. SoT, reveal Staff of Greater Healing to remove Dazed, pass Staff to Quinn. Knowing time is a little short, Raheli heads over to join Amaryllis at the Thicket and finds a shrine to Norgorber. Norgorber's Shadow-CtA: Dexterity 11: 1d10 + 2 + 1d4 ⇒ (10) + 2 + (1) = 13 Surprising success. Before moving further, Raheli takes a moment to patch up Amaryllis using a scroll of Cure. Amaryllis Cure: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 Discard Norgorber's Shadow to examine and encounter Lyrune-Quah Moon Maiden, I'll take the combat to acquire. As she's completing that a Cytillipede comes charging out of the thicket with a Moon Maiden following close on it's heels. Cytillipede:
Monster 4 Traits: Vermin To Defeat: Combat 16 Before acting, each local character must succeed at a Constitution, Wisdom, or Fortitude 7 check or they cannot play weapons and spells this encounter. If undefeated, a random local character summons and encounters this monster. BYA: Wisdom 7: 1d6 + 1d4 ⇒ (4) + (3) = 7 Oh yeah, I can use all my weapons and spells for combat... Recharge Fly for hair combat, recharge Samisen for assistance. Raheli wraps it up in several tendrils of her hair and then pummels it until it stops moving. The Moon Maiden is impressed and offers her assistance which Raheli will gladly accept. Turn 13, The Bear
Raheli heads further along the River and comes across a shrine to Zon-kuthon. She isn't too concerned about shrines and decides to float on past. Encounter Zon-kuthon's Pain, not worth rolling for, banish. Discard Vampire Bat to examine - Kobold Sorcerer, encounter. Raheli's trek down the river soon finder her floating up to a Kobold Sorcerer. It greats her with a volley of Acid. BYA - 1 acid damage, discard Blessing of Seventh Veil. Recharge Twisted Space for hair combat, recharge Staff of Life (5) for extra help. Will take a BotG from Amaryllis Kobold Sorcerer-CtD: Combat 22: 1d10 + 2 + 2d8 + 1d4 + 5 + 1d12 ⇒ (3) + 2 + (3, 5) + (2) + 5 + (7) = 27 Success, reroll!
Kobold Sorcerer gets a lucky shot or two off, and Raheli takes the blasts while focusing on the combat at hand, her hair picks up the Sorcerer and flings it about until it stops moving. Discard Gem of Mental Acuity (2) for AYA damage. With that threat ended, Raheli focuses on activating the natural defenses of the area to defend it from other intrusion. Good Omen to help close. Start of turn, reveal Staff of Greater Healing to remove Poison scourge. Raheli sees the team pass a staff of healing around, slowly patching themselves up. She gratefully accepts on her turn, and then very reluctantly passes it back to Ezren. Start of turn, pass Staff of Greater Healing back to Ezren. Raheli feels the day has turned ominous and in an effort not to curse everyone she moves off to the River to fight on her own for a bit. On arrival she is approached by an unfriendly Ghost. Raheli has dealt with this type of creature many times and so she charges her hair with magic and wades in. Recharge Cleric of Nethys for combat, recharge two items for assistance, highest is Adv 3. Ghost-CtD: Combat 23: 1d10 + 2 + 2d8 + 2d4 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 2 + (3, 8) + (2, 4) + 3 = 28 Success, banished. Raheli isn't having the best day. First she's tricked into looking at a soultrapping gemstone, and now brain mold spores have gotten all over everything. She does her best to shrug it off and move on. Display Imp to draw two cards - BoSavored Sting and Samisen of Oracular Vision. Raheli doesn't get too far into the Forest when she stumbles across a patrol. Fortunately for Raheli, the one she takes is interested in making a deal and they work out some trades before allowing the party to pass. Hopefully Ezren and Amaryllis have it as easy. Pausing turn for others to deal with their encounters - I have Twisted Space, Cleric of Nethys and BoSavored Sting to assist. Tentatively planning on burying Savored Sting to ditch this drained scourge if it isn't used, but use it if needed.

SoT examine top card - Sarenrae's Light, boon, reloaded. Raheli looks around the Hospice and turns up a little shrine, she's about to turn away when the doll she is carrying starts to cry. Raheli is a bit puzzled, but it quickly quiets as she sets about putting the shrine to rights. Discard Calistria's Sting to bless. Sarenrae's Light-CtA: Divine 10: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (4, 5) + 2 = 11 Success Raheli wanders over past Amaryllis, and a lock of hair grazes across her, passing Sarenrea's Light on. Recharge Sarenrea's Light to Heal Amaryllis a card. Discard Ice Chemist to explore. Raheli heads deeper into the Hospice to some sort of library, inside she finds a scroll that contains a spell she knows will be very effective for the road ahead. Good Omen-CtA: Arcane 6: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 Success. Raheli ponders wandering deeper into the Hospice, but her intuition kicks in and she realizes that this is the last place their quarry could be hiding. Going to assume we are all good here and I still have my Good Omen in hand... Good Omen to close. Shrine-CtC: Divine 11: 1d6 + 2 + 2 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 2 + 7 = 15 With the Vampire defeated, Raheli calls on her Doll to assist her in purifying the area. Raheli activates the divine wards on her way out the Shrine, ensuring it will be safe until this Protean is tracked down. She immediately heads off to the Crypt to see what that Vampire might have stirred up. Raheli, Night-Haired Witch ends her turn.

Raheli moves deeper into the Shrine and sees a vision of what's before her. Start of turn examine - The Owl, boon so reload. Raheli thinks wise old Owl might make good companion for Flesh Poppet, so she heads over to see if it can be convinced to follow her. The Owl-CtA: Wisdom 10: 1d6 ⇒ 4 When she would fail, discard Savored Sting to Bless, adding 2 more dice.
Raheli is caught a bit off-guard when the Owl in question turns out to be a harrow card, but she shrugs that off and accepts the fortune in lieu of the companion. Raheli thinks she can push a bit further, but on the off hand chance she runs into trouble she decides to summon up some friends to guard her back. Display Summon Hellhounds. Then discard The Owl to explore. Raheli receives more than a few odd looks strolling through the Shrine with a pair of Hellhounds at her heals, including the Vampire that Raheli's Flesh Poppet suddenly points out to her. Yay for having friends along! Quinn will likely need to take the other half of this. Recharge Fly for hair combat, recharge Samisen for extra dice. Hellhounds add 2d6. Vampire-CtD: Combat 22: 1d10 + 2 + 2d8 + 1d4 + 5 + 2d6 ⇒ (2) + 2 + (2, 1) + (1) + 5 + (3, 6) = 22 First check is good! Discard a card from top of deck for puppy cost - Blessing of Savored Sting. Not sure if I need to recharge anything there...maybe for the hounds? Raheli's hair whips out, crackling with energy as it cuts solidly through the neck of the Vampire. Despite the solid hit, and the pair of hellhounds nipping at it's legs it still struggles to move forward. Raheli hopes she distracted it enough to give Quinn the time needed to make his strike. My location was guarded, so going to press on since Villain movement won't affect anything. Start of turn random examine (not 1): 1d7 ⇒ 6 Boon (reload) - Breath of Life Raheli wanders about the Shrine, her hair flowing out and picking up various items and scrolls, turning them over and caressing them a bit. She stops before one scroll in particular that has a lovely green ribbon tied around it. Recharge Staff of Minor Healing to add 1d4+3 to CtA a spell. Location adds 2 to my divine. Breath of Life-CtA: Divine 13: 1d6 + 2 + 2 + 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 2 + (2) + 3 = 11 Recharge Cleric of Nethys to add 2 for success. At first she's a bit confused by it, but a resident Cleric of Nethys talks her through the last points of her confusion and smiles with understanding. With a little misdirection and slight of hands she swaps it for a similar looking spent scroll, the Breath of Life scroll tucked safely within her tresses. No sooner does she do that than Ezren arrives in the main chamber and Raheli notices he's looking a bit worn, so she pulls out the scroll and fires it off. Breath of Life Ezren Heal: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 She tosses the scroll aside and tucks the ribbon back within her tresses. Raheli, Night-Haired Witch wrote:

Raheli moves carefully into the Shrine, cautiously peering ahead. Start of turn, examine - Friendly Game of Sredna. Not boon or story bane, shuffle location. Random encounter: 1d7 ⇒ 1 Guess it was meant to be. Raheli is a little confused to see a couple people with their heads tied together straining to pull themselves apart...it's confusing but seems like they are having a good time so she offers to give it a go. Recharge Grimoire (4) and Phoenix Staff for 2d4+4. Friendly Game of Sredna-CtD: Strength 7: 1d6 + 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + (3, 4) + 4 = 15 Success! Raheli doesn't quite get the game, but her hair flows around her and obscures enough of the view from the onlookers that they don't notice her hair push out to protect her from the increasing pressure on the back of her head, while simultaneously pushing out at her forehead. Raheli ponders Amaryllis's foresight and decides it's best to try and avoid that fight. Since she knows it's coming up she takes a moment to send the Cleric of Nethys out to do some scouting. It rushes back to report a Wight is off in the other direction. Skip the free explore, discard Cleric to examine top two and encounter Proxy B - Wight. Unfortunately the Ossuary decides now is a great time to drop a couple Ancient Skeletons into the room for Amaryllis and Raheli. Recharge Fly for BYA, Magnetic Grimoire (4) for hair combat, magic and bludgeoning traits. BotGs from Amaryllis. Ancient Skeleton-CtD: Combat 20 (23-4): 1d10 + 2 + 2d8 + 1d12 ⇒ (4) + 2 + (3, 1) + (11) = 21 Success, odd, BotG recharges. Raheli's hair lights up, the ends balling into fists as it starts pummeling the Skeleton. After it's broken down into fragments, it's clear the Ossuary is no longer an area of concern. Apparently the Ogre thought better about leaving Raheli alive and she hears it again charge her. She spots it coming and throws out a tendril of hair to trip it up, unfortunately it still gets a glancing blow on her. BYA-suffer 1 combat, discard Twisted Space for damage. With it laying on the ground, Raheli's hair lights up, crackling with energy as she starts grabbing for anything lose in the room to beat it with. Recharge Good Omen for combat, recharge 3 items all are Adv 2. Ogre-CtD: Combat 24: 1d10 + 2 + 2d8 + 3d4 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 + (1, 2) + (1, 4, 4) + 2 = 26 Success! Banished. She's definitely punching above her weight, but the onslaught is enough to render the Ogre unconscious. She steps over it and moves on. Start of turn display Flesh Poppet. Raheli drifts into the Ossuary, her hair slowly moving about her, picking up random items as she goes. Not far in she spots a Ring that she is instantly drawn to, her hair picks it up and caresses it. Recharge Magnetic Grimoire to acquire an item, add 1d4+adv Ring of Energy Resistance-CtA: Arcane 9: 1d8 + 4 + 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 + (4) + 4 = 20 Success, acquired. Discard Ice Chemist to explore. Raheli's eye's light up with glee as she looks closer at the ring. As she's so focused on the ring, she completely bypasses the Fury Trident leaning against the wall. Auto-Fail to acquire Fury Trident, banished Discard Blessing of the Seventh Veil to explore, encounter Ogre. She takes a little blow as an Ogre rushes in and slams her against the wall. BYA - 1 combat damage, discard Savored Sting for damage. Recharge Cure for hair combat, recharge Ring of Energy Resistance to add damage. Orge-CtD: Combat 24: 1d10 + 2 + 2d8 + 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 2 + (2, 1) + (3) + 6 = 16 Failed, but no cards left in hand, Raheli takes 7 damage, but shrugs it off. She slaps it across the face with her hair, and then takes a blow that knocks her out for a bit. When she comes to, the Ogre is gone, so she stands up and moves forward deeper into the Ossuary. Knowing a dragon in his lair is not something to be trifled with lightly, Raheli ducks back and calls on the arcane to even the odds. Set up, display Summon Hellhounds, display Embiggen, free explore to encounter Zassrion. Raheli summons forth a pair of Hellhounds to harass him while she suddenly enlarges to be on a more even field. As she steps back into his field of view Zassrion immediately recognizes the threat and the air is filled with his electrical breath. Zassrion-BYA: Acrobatic 9: 2d12 + 4 ⇒ (12, 10) + 4 = 26 Success. Raheli laughs, pulling on Rocky's powers of flight to lift off and dodge through blast. Rushing in while she knows his somewhat focused on the breath attack, she calls forth the hounds who rush to obey. Recharge Twisted Space for combat. Recharge Staff to add dice. Reveal Binder's Tome for 1d4 and mental trait. Hellhounds also! Zassrion-CtD: Combat 19: 1d12 + 4 + 2d8 + 1d4 + 2 + 1d4 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 4 + (8, 7) + (4) + 2 + (4) + (6, 5) = 41 Success. Her hair lashes out, wrapping around his snout and muzzling to cut off any future breath attacks. He rears back attempting to shake off this unexpected avenue of attack. Raheli secures herself on his neck and sets about calmly lashing out taking apart the patchwork king while the hounds dodge between his legs slowing melting them from their heat. Recharge Seeking Longbow for combat, recharge Mental Acuity and binder's Tome to add dice, Hellhounds again. I'll save Savored Sting for if that doesn't do it. Zassrion-CtD: Combat 21: 1d12 + 4 + 2d8 + 2d4 + 2 + 2d6 ⇒ (6) + 4 + (5, 3) + (4, 1) + 2 + (6, 2) = 33 The struggle is long, and she has to occasionally abandon her perch, but with Rocky's sure guidance in flight, Raheli is able to duck and dodge between all of the attacks and force the ever increasinly melty dragon back into the large waxy pot, retreating from the onslaught until he just melts away.

Free explore - Ghast All - BYA succeed at Con/Fort 6 or be exhausted. Ghast-BYA: Con 6: 1d6 ⇒ 5 Exhausted. Recharge Good Omen for combat, recharging 3 items (Adv 3 is highest) during combat for extra dice. Ghast-CtD: Combat 21: 1d10 + 4 + 2d8 + 2d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 4 + (3, 4) + (2, 2) + 3 = 21 Just enough, defeated. Raheli enters the ruins cautiously, and is well rewarded as a Ghast attempts an ambush of the party. It's a long drawn out fight, Raheli and Rocky attempting to draw the ghast away from the party, dodging their strikes to avoid the taint that is there while attempting to land blows of her own. Raheli should be a little surprised when she runs across a Fortune-teller wandering the Ravine, but honestly, at this point it's not the strangest thing she's seen. After a quick consult, Raheli is told that a boon is in her future. End of move, recharge Fortune-teller and examine top card for boon... Boon! Encounter. The Rakshasa-CtA: Arcane 8: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 Acquired! Free explore. Raheli finds the reading to be true, quickly turning up another Harrow card from the lost deck. She adds it to her growing pile and continues exploring the ravine. She doesn't get too far before a Ghast rushes out from a crack in the ravine wall. Ghast-BYA: Constitution 6: 1d6 ⇒ 1 Exhausted Recharge Twisted Space for for hair combat, recharge 3 items (highest Adv 2), recharge Rakshasa for hour power to convert d4's to d8's. Raheli takes a bit of a risk, still feeling the effects of the Brain Mold and decides to explore at the Glade, knowing that her comrades are there to back her up. Yay, spell 4, recharge Lexicon to add a die to Wis check, asking for Seoni's BotSpellbound. Recharge Dreamcatcher (2), and Binder's Tome to add dice via Raheli's power to acquire a spell.
