Affable, curious, and gullible. Some up young Rheticus. Not as gullible as he used to be: being framed for murder, dropping out of school and living on the street while hunting down the real killer knocked a bit of sense into him. Even though there's now a chance Rheticus is in on the joke, his sense of wonderment and fascination still shine through. Stealing is a chance to test his skills, to see what the other person had, and to help out the less fortunate (himself included).
Rheticus' youth was spent in the shingles, but his academic skills earned him a scholarship and a chance at the life of a scholar. Being accused of murder ended all that for him, but allowed him to notice other opportunities. Average size, brown hair and eyes. Has a (mostly cultivated) air of having just fallen off the back of a turnip truck.
