As GM your word is law. I am a bit annoyed as a player that it is only now being brought up, as it was something stated back in April before the game got running and none spoke out against it. However if the character is so problematic I can bow out.

Á leið okkar hingað rákumst við á hóp feyja sem eiga brúðkaup. Þeir buðu okkur að vera með og við gerðum það. Morguninn eftir tökum við eftir því, jæja Mosswaxer var horfinn. Við leituðum um stund en fundum engin merki um hana." Revna explained, rather glad she found another who could speak her tongue. Skald: "Oh finally! I've only found one other who does. I've only found one so far and this, common tongue just seems off you know? Anyways, we lost Mosswaxer! On our way here, we came across a group of fey having a wedding. They invited us to join them and we did. The next morning we notice that, well Mosswaxer was gone. We searched for a while but, we couldn't find any sign of her."
"No, no." Revna tried to explain. "Mosswaxer, gone." She said again. "Talar þú Skald?" She asked. Translation: "Do you speak Skald?"
"Problem." Revna said with a nod. "Mosswaxer, poof." She tried to explain.
Revna stepped in and set Filtiarn down so that he could explore the area. "Paper for you." Revna said. "Think, Anri has." Revna added before she moved to the others inside. "Revna Stigen, he" Revna motioned to Filtiarn, "Filtiarn. Met well!" She smiled.
Revna took in a deep breath and smiled. "Kanína ." She said before she held up Filtiarn and grinned. "Let go, get you fed." Then she made her way thought the gate and to the front door, knocking solidly three times.
Oh yeah, and Revna can treat two people at once! Because Ward Medic.
Revna set down her pack and Filtiarn, as she got the healer's kit out of her pack. "Have for need." Revna said as she got the items out that are most commonly used.
"Dig up grave, no good idea." Revna said with a shake of her head as she took a look at the graves. "Off." She agreed. "Pray and leave, give dead rest."
But I did! I rolled Religion! As I couldn't do the other one. *Sighs* Gonna have to watch when posting on my phone again...

I'm going to get Revna leveled tomorrow. I want' able to read over what I'd like to have at work today like I was hoping. Sorry for the hold up.
I use Lore Herbalism for it. Because GM is most gracious!
Revna gave a growl as she pulled her blade from it's keep and swung at the cursed thing.
Her blade cut deeply into the creature as she hissed "Fáðu aftur ógeðslega veru! Deyja eins og þú þorir!" Translation: "Get back foul creature! Die as you dare!"
Revna, after the trail could no longer be followed, would take time through the journey to hunt not only for the group but for Filtiarn. The growing pup would need a great deal to grow healthy, and a good size buck or does would keep the group fed as well. With so many wanting to keep going through the night, Revna agreed. She'd have to get Filtiarn use to his own night sight, however she held onto the pup, as to not lose him in the dark. She herself remained close to Anri as the two shared a language better that she did with the others.
Revna sighed in a bit of annoyance when she lost the trail. "Cold." She told the rest simply with a shake of her head. "Can look more, if missed." She suggested with a shrug. "Yet cold. Little more."
No harm in trying. Revna is made as a beast herself so she might be able to sniff them out! XD
Yeah Revna was more of the listening kind here. Mainly because of her broken speech. She thought it would be easier on the poor guy if he spoke with those who where better at talking.
"Box stolen." Revna nodded slowly as she understood. "What way run?" Revna asked him. "And only, three?"
"Ég hélt það, en vildi vera viss." Revna whispered back. Translation:
"I thought so, but wanted to be sure. "Uha, crass... term. No problem. Common, not first tongue." Revna explained. "With? What go with?"
Revna gladly walked in the Filtiarn at her side. Giving a thankful nod to their host as she took a seat on the floor and keep Filtiarn in check. "Dark haired b!!$&?" Revan quoted slightly confused. "You refer mortal, no dog yes?" She asked to clarify her own understanding. "Ah, common, no first, tongue." She tried to explain.
"Be best" Revna answered to Kazmukh as she looked around the burnt home. "Vertu nálægt litlu ástinni" Revna said as she gave Filtiarn a soft pat on his head. Translation:
"Stay close little love" Revna looked in the dirt and the immediate area for anything that would look out of place.
"Can try." Revna said as fed Filtiarn pieces of sausage to the little one's content. "Believe idea." She added with a solid not to her friends. She gives Anri a knowing smile showing that she got two servings, though most of her sausage is going to the little furred one.
I'm just waiting for the people to give Revna the goat's milk so that she can head back to the group. I mean she is loving talking about her group's adventures and Filtiarn but she should get back to the group...
My work needs to stop messing with my schedule! They're doing another change again and it isn't going to be fun. I should still be fine to game but there might be some adjustment phase...
"Filtiarn no speak... yet." Revna said with a chuckle. "Soon, time come close now." She noticed Gynnie's look and offered a reassuring smile. "Teach right." She promised. "Protect, no harm. Learn right way."
Revna grinned when asked the tale of how they came across the warg pup. Taking a knee to get down to the child's level, Revna spoke in her broken tongue of common. "Me, and mine, set upon by warg. Two she-wolf at side. Together, down fell warg and a she-wolf. Last ran. Den. Followed steps. Found pups. And, friend to wolf. Spoke, agreed pups, wargs, learn better way." She explained as she set Filtiarn down to let him get closer to the child and the child to actually get a better look at him. "Warg, smart. Speak, think, can be taught. She-wolf no take pup as own, so agreed to bring Filtiarn right. As child of own. Young still, but learn he will." Revna said with a smile as she pet Filtiarn, scratching behind his earns.
Revna speaks greatly on animals. Her knowledge of them seems to be great, though more towards those of the wild then farm animals but her knowledge is still there. Though her grasp on speaking the common tongue isn't great and she slips into Skald a few times. Apologizing if they didn't understand her, and trying to explain better. She also introduced Filtiarn as effectively her son. That she had taken him in and wanted him to get use to being around others. She also offers advice on how to keep some wild predators from getting into their livestock. What they hate, and what they can get through easily.

Okay so it is about time to start weaning him Revna willingly follows the child to get the milk, as she wouldn't need a lot. Just enough to get through today and a bit tomorrow to wean Filtiarn off and onto solid food. Soon enough she'll have to take him hunting with her so that he would learn to take care of himself when she was gone. She handed over the price for the milk and get Filtiarn, then even let him play with the children if he wanted. She needed to get him use to people after all. However she kept a hawk's eye upon him, making sure he didn't start playing too rough.
Revna nodded to Elinil and headed off to find the local gathering place, ie tavern. Carrying Faltiarn with her instead of letting him walk, mostly because she didn't want to risk him wondering off as she looked around. There she got the pup a hearty meal of milk and let him feast. She also offered him cuts of fresh meat in hopes he'd show more favor for it than the milk.

[ooc]How old is Filtiarn? Well how roughly old does he look.[ooc] "If can, Filtiarn pup still." Revna said as she looked to her pup, a smile hung on her lips as she pet him. "If stay, can try wean. Milk now, small meat half milk, then meat only." She suggest. "No sure if work..."

"Ah, elta tvær kanínur." Revna said with a nod. "Chasing two rabbits. No show for day bu failed time." She explained as best she could.
Revna followed after Kazmukh with Filtiarn at her feet. "Why say, uha... 'burning daylight'?" She asked Kazmukh with a raised brow.

Revna motioned for Kazmukh to shake the Voretti's open hand. "You won, knew would." Revna said with a smile as she got up, picking up the bag and returning it to her back, allowing Filtiarn to walk around a bit as they moved.
Revna chuckled at Anri's words. "Ég hef trú á manninum. Stóð hjá hliðum okkar og hélt sínum hópi gegn verst." Translation:
"I've faith in the man. Stood by our sides and held his group against worst." "Go Kazmukh!" Revna cried out as she kept playing a bit with Filtiarn to keep him busy while all this was going on. She didn't want him to run off while they where watching the fight after all.
"Get it Kazmukh! You do this!" Revna cried out from the sidelines doing her best to cheer him on.
"Same." Revna told Kazmukh with a grin as she sat down on the road, put her bow and arrows aside, then pulled her bag off her back and brought out Filtiarn to ensure he was doing alright in the bag. Also so he could watch the battle.
Revna suggested either herself or Kazmukh do the battle. Both are strong fighters and have the best chance of holding their ground in a one on one fight.
Revna looked from Brennadara to Elinil then to Anri. The look on her face said very simply, this is getting tiresome. "We do tis?" Revna finally asked. "Their land or no, need pass"
"Ég hef brot á því." Revna hissed towards Elinil. Translation: "I take offense to that."
"Góður" Revna stated before she walked foreword a bit more. She slammed her food into the path before she drew a line in the dirt with it. Then, with one hand holding both bow and arrow, Revna took in a deep breath and roared.
The bellow was a challenge, though not in the type that most humans would think. The sound was far more animalistic. It was very much a cry of, keep clear and be not harmed. Come forth, and only death awaited.
Revna let out a loud laugh, till she noticed Anri wasn't joking. "Virða þessar verur styrk?" Revna asked in return. Translation: "Do these creatures respect strength?"
"Tongue... Don't know." Revna told the group who was speaking to them. Obviously she wanted to know what was going on. |
