Background:
Relios was born and raised in Kalsgard never knowing of his mother. His father a Tian merchant in the Jade Quarter never spoke of her and refused to when asked. His father was a local of the city being born there himself as a second generation native yet retained much of his heritage. So was Relios expected to learn and honor the ways of his people and gods. Yet he was a strange child as a number of otherworldly traits grew as the years passed. His father less concerned with his appearance and more with his education found his son to be a fair study with a talent for languages. Hoping in time he would develop the skills needed to be a great merchant. Relios for his part had his own plans, none of which involved him becoming a merchant as his father had hoped. He took to the warrior class of the Ulfen people more readily. It was not long before his father saw the path his son had chosen, ever the adaptable and supportive father he arranged for his son to be trained as a warrior but one of his people's tradition rather then that of the Ulfen. Relios took to these lessons well as he grew strong and tough, only he favored the ways of war over the code of the sword. It was not long before he took advantage of the traditions of both Ulfen and Tian alike to test his skills. His actions did not go unnoticed or without cost as the dishonor of too many victims brought forth a blood feud. One that was eventually paid for in the form of his fathers life and holdings. While his father did not blame him and went to his death without regret, the same could not be said of Relios. Feeling rightly that his reckless and childish nature had brought destruction to his whole world he intended to challenge the one who issued the blood feud, a warrior he knew to be superior and beyond his abilities. His merchant father had not been without friends or foresight, calling upon a close friend in Sandpoint before his death he had made arrangements for his son. Not willing to disobey what was essentially his father's last request he left Kalsgard to live with the Kaijitsu family as their adopted son.
For the next several years he honed his skills and more importantly his self discipline. During this time he took on work as a caravan guard, traveling much of Varisia and it's neighbors. Learning to protect and aid others with his skills rather then use them solely for his own interest. It has been during this time that he has felt a need to do more, along with a sense that something about himself is calling out. Sense recent events took place in Sandpoint while he was away he has stopped making caravan runs. Choosing to remain in Sandpoint for the time being to protect the last of his family, Ameiko. While he still feels the need to go out into the world, he does not want to lose yet another family and home.

Relios is well built and lean, his short hair is midnight black, his eyes pure silver, and his skin is alabaster with a somewhat metallic sheen to it. Physically he is an almost unnaturally perfect specimen save for an odd scar centered on his abdomen. Other notable traits are his winged shadow and ability to seemingly be heard mentally when he speaks.
