Link to the Campaign! Buahahaha, success!! Haha, finally figured it out, sorry for the mix up =)
I think it's interesting that people are saying the full BAB classes are weak later in the game. I have always enjoyed playing melee classes and have never found them to be weak at all, even at level 20+. I have always found them to be extremely good when built well, particularly Fighters. Perhaps my experiences are not the norm, but my Human Fighter with all his stats and Feats planned out properly was a beast and good from level 1 to 20, no issues at all. But, every party is different, so I suppose that experiences vary.
I'm just getting back into the game and I see this topic pop up a lot. Is it really such a big deal? I guess that is all relative. We have people play Paladins in our store a lot and it doesn't seem to be an issue. Often it causes fun RP opportunities. I guess it all comes down to the individuals. I love Paladins, personally, but I like the idea of an old school, morale champion of good. Like Superman, or Batman. If you want a character that is more of an anti-hero, just don't play a Paladin, IMO.
Hey everyone, long time away from RPGs, and just getting back into it at our game store in Martinez, CA (check us out if you're in the area! www.FrontlineGaming.org ) I was really big with 3.5, and I missed 4th ed D&D (which from what I gather may have been a blessing) and am really loving Pathfinder! We decided to start up a campaign in the store and we have been having a blast. I haven't GM'd in many years, so it was fun to get back into it. We're using fully painted miniatures in our campaign (we also have a painting studio if anyone wants to get their stuff painted!), 3D terrain, etc. It looks really cool, if I do say so myself =) Anyway, we wanted to invite everyone to come and follow along with our adventure. The Campaign has lots of pictures, and is written in a narrative style. Hopefully some of you find it interesting and decide to read along! http://www.frontlinegaming.org/2013/01/11/a-pathfinder-campaign-chapter-1-o f-orcs-and-men/ Thanks, Reece |
