-Updates and Edits-
The playtest is going well and I'm really liking the content I've made and the reactions to it. I don't have a timeline for the art for this book yet or when it will be published, but it will likely be a few months after Intrusive Thoughts. The following changes and updates have been made:

  • Planar Ejection feat- Effects edited for clarity, you are not allowed to move with the bull rushed target(s) and you make a single CMB check and apply that result to the CMDs of any bull rushed targets.
  • Planar Servitor and Planar Specter feats- The elemental and specter's max HD and the duration of the summon has been reduced to 1 + ⅓ your nexus level (rounded down, minimum 2).
  • The Spellbound archetype- The Spells and Grimoire abilities were edited to clarify that spells are learned from the Occultist spell list and one other spell list granted by their pact, up to 4th level. The Pact Magic ability was edited to grant Sigil of Mysticism as the first pact veil, with additional pact veils shaped at 2nd, 6th, 10th, and 14th levels.

Hi all, the following updates and edits have been made!

  • Spellbound- Spells ability clarified to work similarly to the Arcanist's spellcasting, using the granted grimoire as their spellbook. The Pact Magic ability now allows the spellbound to replace a single veil set they would gain from their pact with the Runes of the Thaumaturge veil set. The Spellburst magic manipulation has been renamed Spellblast, its base cost has been reduced to 1 manipulation point and wording has been included to clarify its effects. The Improved Essence Capacity ability has been altered to reflect the spellbound's focus on their magics.

The following are some updates and edits that have been made!

  • Spellbound- new ability added, Bond of Magic. Alters and replaces the pactbound's Honor the Pact ability. It allows the spellbound to treat the spaces their pact spirits occupy as their own when casting spells.
  • Pact Spirits- Edits made for clarity in the stat blocks of several pact spirits, specifically the Dark Prophet and Oni Scourge.


Hello everyone! The public playtest for Deals With the Dark- Pacts of Fiend and Shadow starts now! This is a supplement for the Pactbound akashic magic class that can be found on DriveThruRPG if you wish to purchase the pdf (or here for free now!)
The playtest doc can be found here.

Inside you will find:

  • - Two new pacts for the Pactbound Class- the Fiend pact and Shadow pact with compatibility for the Pactblade and Hexbound archtypes!
  • - 3 new pact spirits for each pact!
  • - 4 new feats!
  • - A new archetype for the Pactbound: the Spellbound.

The public playtest will open until January 1st, but as with my previous playtests the doc will remain available until the book goes on sale.


Psikasha Expanded- Intrusive Thoughts Playtest Comes to a Close

Hello everyone, the public playtest closes today at midnight. I will be leaving the link active until the book is published (on DriveThruRPG with my other books) under Studio M-.

Currently, my publisher has warned me that they are slammed and have a backlog of things to push out (like my Echoes of Magic and Kristal Moonhand's Intoxicating Petal martial discipline!) so I am hoping it gets released before the end of the year. Art will again be courtesy of the amazing CCStabs.

Thank you for all the interest you've shown in this playtest, from the suggestions and comments to the messages sent asking about things, I appreciate it.

Coming up next in November I plan to start the playtest for the next release, Deals with the Dark, Pacts of Fiend and Shadow. It will contain two new pacts for the Pactbound akashic class!

Edits and Updates!
The following edits and updates have been made. Reminder that the playtest closes out 11 October!

  • Bastion: Surge of Devotion- Levels which the bastion gains power points to augment maneuvers from surge of devotion changed. now gains 2 points at 6th, 3 points at 11th, and 4 points at 16th levels. This also alters the levels at which the Bastion's surge intensity increases. Attuned Counterpoint- altered the wording of the maximum granted attack bonus from having damage stored in the bastion's delayed damage pool to clarify the effects. Touch of the Goddess- edited wording of ability to clarify its effects. Surge of Devotion base risk of psychic enervation changed to 20% instead of 30%.
  • Dissevered: Talents- dissevered now learns an additional talent from any other class's talent list at 5th level. Fragmented Psyche- wording altered for clarity when choosing a psionic power list when creating personas.
  • Mentalist Trope: Mind Over Body Quirk- Spirited Psicrystal feat added to the list of available bonus feats.
  • Ingenium: Lesser Psionic Symbiosis- Wording edited for clarity of the effects. Improved Bonded Knowledge- wording edited for clarity and range of ability increased to 60ft.
  • Psichymist: Psichymical Focus- wording edited for clarity.
  • Hungry Manacles: Wording of base effect and benefits of investing essence altered for clarity.
  • Japa Mala of the Kinetic: Damage of base effect and from investing essence changed from 2 to 1d3.
  • Crystallized Flesh: Lunar and Stormbound added to the list of classes who can learn the veil. Base benefits of expending charges now last 1 round, +1 round for each charge expended after the first. Wording for benefits of invested essence edited for clarity. Wording for Shoulders Bind effects edited for clarity. Wording for Blood Bind effects edited for clarity.


Psikasha Expanded- Intrusive Thoughts Edits and Updates

Hello everyone, RC here with some additional edits and updates. With the playtest ending soon I'm just trying to knock out the last few changes and suggestions.

The following edits and updates have been made:

  • Mentalist Trope- Least, Lesser, and Greater Psionics quirks have been edited with Least now granting two 1st level powers and all of them granting increased power points. The Grand Psionics quirk was added, granting one power each for levels 1-3. Psionic Training quirk was removed, as granting access to every psionic feat was balance breaking, instead you now have the Metapsionic Training quirk that grants metapsionic bonus feats and the Mind Over Body quirk that grants access to a limited list of psionic feats and both can be taken multiple times.

The playtest is still planned to conclude Saturday 11 October, with the book being released by Studio M- with art by CCStabs

Really impressed by how much depth this playtest has! The integration between psionics, akashic magic, and Path of War feels ambitious but well thought out.

I especially like the recent tweak to the Entropic Adept feat — making the energy type adaptive while cutting the damage in half feels like a fair tradeoff for the added flexibility.

Thank you for the feedback! The idea and some of the content for this release has been rattling around for a while for the most part, glad to finally get it out there as a coherent whole. The name ended up being very appropriate.

As for Entropic Adept, I ended up taking a look at psionic powers as a whole and the Athanatism discipline (which is functionally the psionic approach to necromancy) and noticed while it has themes of entropy and death it has no parallel to positive energy. In fact, I couldn't find a single psionic power that dealt with positive energy. In light of that, I altered the feat after some conversations with a friendly author who has more of a focus in psionics.

Intrusive Thoughts Playtest Continues!

The Psikasha Expanded- Intrusive Thoughts playtest continues until October 11th, and thank you for all the comments and suggestions.

The following edits and changes have been made:

  • Bastion- Resurgence of Faith ability effects have been clarified.
  • Mentalist Troubadour Trope- Now selects a single psionic power list, and all powers moving forward gained from quirks are selected from that list (with a few exceptions).
  • Mantle of the Mindful Body- Recovery of temp hp from Ablative Field clarified, Telekinetic Barrier is now able to block incorporeal touch effects, Telekinetic Reach now applies to unarmed strikes or a single natural attack.

  • Telekinetic Servant- determination was made that it now requires the psicrystal containment feat as a prerequisite.
  • Hungry Manacles- New minor veil that damages and drains the vital energies of the target!
  • Warsuit of the Psionic Juggernaut- New psionic enhanced armor veil that enfolds you in ectoplasmic energies that grant psionic powers and limited astral suit customizations.

Updates and Edits!

Hello everyone, some updates and edits have been made:

  • Bastion- edits made for clarity on Whispered Prayer and Attuned Counterpoint
  • Mentalist Troubadour Persona Trope- edits made to the persona quirks, with some being removed as they were unbalanced.
  • Telekinetic Servant- suggestion made to allow Mind Limb feat be an alternate requirement for Natural Telekinetic feat. Its possible, but I don't know if adding transparency with Spheres of Power and Psionics would be good balance-wise.
  • Orrery of the Psychokinetic- Descriptors altered to reflect that it gains a descriptor matching your active element. Removed all the elemental descriptors as they are transient and not constant due to this.
  • Psicrystal Wyrd- Edits made to the Power Stone Capacity ability for clarity as to how the wyrd uses its stored power stones.

Hello everyone!

The public playtest for Psikasha Expanded- Intrusive Thoughts has officially begun! Its a Pathfinder 1e 3pp playtest and inside you can find tons of new content that touches on the Psionics optional system for Pathfinder 1e originally created by Dreamscarred Press and options for Akashic Magic and even Path of War! Here is the link to the playtest doc.

Inside you can find a ton of new feats, class archetypes, and veils including the following:

  • - A new psionic options for the Troubadour champions of the spheres class, a new akashic Cryptic archetype, a new akashic and psionic archetype for the Symbiat spheres of power class, a new psionic archetype for the Epilektoi path of war class and more.
  • - Two new cults for the Thug class.
  • - New akashic racial traits for psionic races and a new alternate racial trait for the Mineralite race.
  • - New psionic shard feats!
  • - New veils, minor veils, and veil sets themed around psionics!
  • - New options for psicrystals and even a new creation called a Psicrystal Wyrd!
  • - And much more!

[U]The end of the Echoes of Magic Public Playtest[/U]

Hi Everyone!

With the end of August the playtest for Echoes of Magic has come to a close. Thank you for all the comments, suggestions, and interest you have shown in this effort. I will be finishing final edits and formatting before handing it over to my publisher (Studio M-). They have already alerted me that they are swamped with all the projects they are working on so the book doesn't have a tentative release date at this time. As with my last books, the link on here will stay active until the book is published (you'll be able to find it on DriveThruRPG like all my other books).

As of right now, the book will likely be broken into two parts as it is currently 173 pages, which is frankly way too big. Even with the shrinkage my other books have had (which is about 1/3) from the google doc to the PDF. The two planned releases are intended to be pushed at the same time and right now the first book is tentatively called Echoes of Magic: What is Spoken and will have all the words of power content, words of power feats, locutor PrC, and new veils. The second book is Echoes of Magic, Those Who Listen and will contain all of the class archetypes, other two prestige classes, alternate racial traits, the new Vira-Lorr race, and all of the other feats. Separated out like they are currently each doc is around 85 pages so once they are converted they will be much more manageable for the publisher and also cheaper for purchase.

Coming up middle to end of September the next big playtest will begin, which will be Psikasha Expanded- Intrusive Thoughts and it will contain new archetypes combining psionic and akashic power and new psionic shard feats (among other things!).

-Final Content Added!!-

Hi Everyone! The final piece of planned content has been added! The Sigil of Transmutation, a veil that allows the user to alter their own density to provide defensive and utility effects and can be shattered for even stronger (but short lived) benefits.

With this all planned content has been added. The playtest will continue to the end of this month, and then it will officially end. My Publisher (Studio M-) has already told me they will try to begin edits as soon as they can, and I will let everyone know on here before it is released. Given the unknown timeframe, I have decided to leave the document up and available until the book goes on sale through DriveThruRPG.

Hope you have enjoyed the playtest thus far. Its been longer than I originally planned, and the next Playtest should begin middle to end of September. It will be Psikasha Expanded- Intrusive Thoughts and it will contain new archetypes combining psionic and akashic power and new psionic shard feats (among other things!).

Echoes of Magic Updates: Edits to the Runeblade and New Legendary Magus Tomes

Hi everyone!

There are some recent updates for Echoes of Magic! There have been some changes to the new Runeblade Magus archetype, Magus Arcana, the two Legendary Magus Tomes, and the Celestial Tiara and Dance in the Moonlight veils.

  • Runeblade: Runic Armaments ability now allows veils from the new Runes of the Thaumaturge veil set to be selected.
  • Magus Arcana: Runic Armor and Runic Shield magus arcana now also allow veils from new Runes of the Thaumaturge veil set to be selected.
  • Tome of the Invoker: Tome abilities no longer require essence to be bound, instead they are now spell-like abilities. They are each usable 1/day and can be recovered by spending arcane potential.
  • Tome of the Veilbound: Abilities altered to lower overall power. Instead of using Kheshig veil list now grants title veils as previously being able to bind any veil was very unbalanced. 1 fewer overall veil shaped by the tome.
  • Celestial Tiara & Dance in the Moonlight Veils: Headband bind effect now allows the veilweaver to use Perform (Comedy) in place of Bluff to feint as part of a move action while moving up to half their movement speed and belt effect meant for Dance in the Moonlight moved to the veil it belongs to!

New Content: The Miserere, an Akashic Magic and Path of War Paladin Archetype!

The crusaders of some sacred orders sing hymns as they charge into battle and tattoo sacred runes upon their skin, their words seeking mercy not only for themselves, but also for the poor fools who know not what comes for them.

Hi all! A new archetype has been added to Echoes of Magic as we wind down the Public playtest!

The Miserere is a defender of their chosen religion's doctrine. More scholarly than their fellow crusaders, but able to mark enemies as true foes of their faith and allies and create powerful runic auras to bolster their companions.

Only one piece of content remains to be added to the playtest, stay tuned!


Hi all! RC again. Here are some samples for the upcoming Mythic Feats for PoW and Akashic Magic. If you can think of any other Path of War or Akashic Magic feats you would love to have Mythic versions of, comment and let me know!

Mythic Battle Meditation (Combat, Trance)
Prerequisites: Mythic Tier 1, Battle Meditation
Benefits: The duration for battle meditation increases by half your mythic tier (rounded down, minimum 1). When spending stamina points to extend the duration, the effects of battle meditation persist for 2 additional rounds for every 3 stamina spent as an immediate action. The bonus granted to CMB/CMD, Perception checks, and Will saves doubles for both the base effect and when you possess 3 or more trance feats (becoming +4 and +8 respectively).

Mythic Martial Power
Prerequisites: Mythic tier 1, Martial Power
Benefits: Add your tier to the temporary HP gained from martial power. When you are using a shield of any kind, you may instead gain hardness equal to your mythic tier for 1 round.

Mythic Guard the Gates
Prerequisites: Mythic Tier 1, Guard the Gates
Benefits: For the purpose of which allies are within your reach for Guard the Gates, you treat your reach as if it were 5ft greater at 1st mythic tier, +5ft for every odd mythic tier thereafter (to a max of +25ft at 9th tier).
This increase to your reach also applies when initiating an attack of opportunity should you have 3 or more feats with battle meditation as a prerequisite.

Mythic Akashic Demolitionist
Prerequisites: Mythic Tier 1, Akashic Demolitionist
Benefits: Add your mythic tier to the damage dealt by splash weapons, both on a direct hit and the splash damage.
For every 4 essence invested in Akashic Demolitionist, the splash area of such weapons increases by 5ft.

Mythic Blessed of the Harrow
Prerequisites: Mythic Tier 1, Blessed of the Harrow
Benefits: Increase the number of cards you can have drawn by Harrowed at a time by 1 for every 4 essence bound in Blessed of the Harrow. You can only apply the effects of a single drawn card in a given round.

Mythic Shards of Expertise
Prerequisites: Mythic tier 1, Shards of Expertise
Benefits: You may now have an additional akashic feat shattered, plus one feat at 6th mythic tier. When you shatter an akashic feat that you possess the mythic version of, it counts as two veils shattered for the purpose of determining the effects of your Shard Feats.

-Echoes of Magic Playtest Extension and Updates-

Hello Everyone!

RC here with news about the Echoes of Magic Playtest and other releases. First, the Echoes of Magic public playtest will be extended until the end of August, as my day job ramping up unexpectedly it has been giving me little time to finish the remaining content (Sigil of Transmutation and Miserere Paladin/Antipaladin archetype).

I apologize for the delays and hope everyone has enjoyed the content thus far.

Due to this, the next two releases Psikasha Expanded- Intrusive Thoughts and Expanded Mythic Options: Path of War and Akashic Magic will be delayed. Intrusive thoughts will be starting in mid-September and Expanded Mythic Options will hopefully start mid-October.

Again, these delays weren't something I planned for or expected and I am working to minimize how much they affect things moving forward.

Finally, the updates! Below are the recent updates and changes to Echoes of Magic!

  • Sigil of Evocation- Removed effect allowing it to be used as a move action after casting an evocation spell.
  • Magian- Scholar of Sigilism now starts with knowledge of 3 base veils known, Akashic Bond's Veilbound Familiar option base effect now gains 2x level + Int Mod HP and gains insight bonuses to attack/dmg rolls. It also now acts as an Improved Familiar at 10th level. Veilbound Weapon option gains special attack effect at 10th and treats it as a spell for feats and abilities.
  • Runeblade- Runic Armor magus arcana now allows you to grant armor spikes to the created armor if taken a second time. Runic Shield magus arcana now has links for shield bash damages. New ability Mnemonic Recall alters Spell Recall and Improved Spell Recall effects. New Capstone ability Sigilistic Apotheosis added.


Hi all, RecordedChaos back with a question!

So, on the docket coming soon is my Mythic Akashic Magic and Path of War content playtest, which will include a new mythic path for each and a bunch of other new mythic stuff (my Psikasha Expanded: Intrusive Thoughts playtest is coming first though in a month!) and on that note, I have a question: What Mythic Akashic Magic and Path of War feats do you want to see?

I currently have 24 mythic feats written (13 Akashic, 11 PoW) and I am looking to do around 25 or so for each as part of the release. All of the feats up for consideration can be found on the Library of Metzofitz, which is a third party repository in the vein of the Archives of Nethys.

So, What feats from those two systems do you want to see get a Mythic upgrade? Let me know!

Echoes of Magic Update: The Amanuensis, A New Alternate Class

Amanuensis (Protean Scribe Alternate Class)

Those who seek to find the lost language of magic often forget that it possesses a written form, an ancient and powerful script whose strokes hold dreadful power. If speaking the language of magic causes reality to bend, how far would writing those syllables twist the world?

  • -Venator- Initial and Maximum shaped veils reduced by 1 (to a maximum of 6). Huntcraft ability improvement at 10th level now ignores 1 point of DR/Hardness instead of 2. 15th level ability effects edited for clarity. Runic Literacy ability now grants words from the Druid word list. Hunter's Adaptation ability's 18th level improvement now allows the venator to change any number of their bodily adaptations at-will as a full-round action.
  • -Locutor PrC- Archaism ability edited for clarity. Polyglot ability is now linked to the feat. Linguaphile ability edited for clarity.
  • -Maiden's Voice- New veil that empowers the veilweavers words, granting new uses for the Perform (Sing) skill and the ability to call upon an animal emissary to aid them.

-Update, A New Akashic Class Archetype: The Tenebrosum-

As shadows twist the familiar into the unknown and terrifying, so too does the presence of a Tenebrosum warp the world around them. Their touch can transform what was comfortably mundane into eldritch and terrible mockeries.

Hello all and welcome to another update to the Echoes of Magic Public Playtest!

This time the update is a new Archetype for the Eclipse and Eclipse Retold akashic class, the Tenebrosum.

The Tenebrosum's very touch can painfully twist the mind and body of their foes, and they gain additional power when shaping veils tied to the mind, darkness, or fleshwarping.

  • -Order of Appearance: The Words of Power content has been moved to the beginning of the book, given the other content is based off it or uses it this only made sense.
  • -Prydyn Bloodrager Archetype: Runeweaving now has a link to the Daevic Veil list. Unleash Bloodrunes and Wordweaving ability effects edited for clarity. Bloodbinding ability now allows binding of blood chakra veils at 13th level. Bloodrune Mastery edited for clarity.
  • -Solfège Bard/Skald Archetype: Veilweaving ability edited for clarity.
  • Lastly, a Rules Clarification:

Hello all! The public playtest for Echoes of Magic is finally here!
(Note: All AI art are placeholders while I wait for the artist I worked with on Shards of Power and Whispers of Immortality to work their magic.)

It's a Pathfinder 1e 3pp playtest that expands upon the use of magic in the pathfinder 1e, giving new options for Akashic Magic and the optional Words of Power subsystem introduced in Ultimate Magic!, adding a ton of new words, new optional rules to balance out the system including a soft redux to the rules for combining words, and support for the 1pp classes that were released after Ultimate Magic that never received support (like the hybrid and psychic magic classes!).

This release includes a ton of new feats, racial archetypes, prestige classes, class archetypes, and even provides support for the optional words of power system for so called 1.5pp classes like Omdura and Vampire Hunter.

Pactbound is now officially up for sale on DriveThruRPG! With this the link for the playtest is officially disabled. Usually myself and the publisher allow for 2-3 months of sales before it is put up on a friendly 3rd party site, and I will be continuing this trend with pactbound as I have with my previous two releases.

I will be having another public playtest opening hopefully by the end of this month, Echoes of Magic, which includes a redux of Words of Power, the inclusion of every base casting class that was released after Ultimate Magic into the subsystem (including 1.5pp classes like Vampire Hunter and Omdura), and over 40 new words! Keep your eyes out for it!

And with that, the Pactbound playtest is officially over! I greatly appreciate all the comments and suggestions given, and look forward to the upcoming Echoes of Magic playtest which will be starting sometime in March-April this year.

I hope to have Pactbound go into formatting and editing, as well as receiving the rest of the Art from the Amazing CC Tay. Hopefully the book should be out on DriveThru RPG around the same time the next playtest starts.

Once again, thank you for all the interest this passion project of mine has received. Pactbound was actually started even before my other two books and I am thankful it is finally seeing the light of day.

  • -Mind Over Body covenance of the Astral Pact has been altered so the penalty to attack rolls doesn't penalize Planar Detonation.
  • -The Pactblade's Planar Armaments is now considered to be an enhanced weapon veil for the purpose of Akashic Arms and Armor, Unified Theory, and other feats and effects.
  • -Pactblade has a new planar manipulation- Heavy (1 points): The pactblade may treat their planar armament as a two-handed weapon for the purposes of feats and effects for this attack and the damage die size of your planar armaments increases by 1. If the pactblade instead uses their planar armament to make only a single attack as part of an attack action, they may treat that attack as a special attack action to reduce this manipulation’s cost to 0.

Lots of suggestions have been brought up, and changes have been made!

Please take a look at the following:

Pactbound Abilities

  • -Shared Covenance ability gained at 11th level now grants chosen ally the benefit of pactbound's pact defense treating benefits granted from pactbound level/essence invested/essence burned as halved, and uses the pactbounds Cha bonus.

Changes to Pacts
  • -Astral Pact pact defense (Astral Influence) now grants temp hp equal to their pactbound level plus their Charisma modifier and recovers temp hp equal to the essence invested in the pact at the beginning of each of the pactbounds turns.
  • -Pact Defenses that grant resistances to energy types equal to 1/2 pactbound level now largely grant resistances equal to pactbound level.
  • -Celestial Pact pact augmentation (Celestial Surge) now deals half damage that is nonlethal to good aligned targets.
  • -Draconic Pact pact defense (Husk of the Dragon) has been edited for clarity. It now allows the pactbound to subsume other armor or enhanced armor veils into it to grant the husk any enhancement bonuses, magic enhancements, or armor modifications the subsumed armor or enhanced armor veil possesses. The cost for benefits granted by essence burn has also been reduced from every 3 points of essence burned to every 2.
  • -Elemental Pact pact augmentation (Primal Eruption) has been edited so that the primary and splash areas increase in size by 5ft at 8th level and every 6th level thereafter.
  • -Elemental Pact's 15th level Covenance ability (Paraelemental Avatar) has been altered to line up more closely with other polymorph covenance abilities.
  • -Fey Pact planar augmentation (Wrath of the Court) now has an added ability to cause a burst that leaves behind illusory difficult terrain for one round.
  • -Fey Pact 15th level Covenance ability (Form of the Fae) has been altered to bring it in line with other abilities.

Changes to Archetypes
  • -The Pactblade's Quicken and Balanced manipulations have been edited. Quicken now allows the pactblade to initiate a martial strike using their planar armament as a swift action and Balanced now allows the pactblade to treat all rolls of 1 or 2 on damage or healing dice from a strike and the planar armament as 3s.
  • -Pactblade's Resurgent Blade ability now recovers 1 manipulation point and treats their pact defense as if they had 2 additional essence burned for 1 round. Both effects increase at 8th and 16th level.
  • -The Hexbound now has the Fell Bargain ability, which allows them to treat their pact abilities as if they had 1 additional point of essence burned for 1 round the first time in a combat that a target fails a save against one of their hexes or brand veils. This ability improves at 8th and 16th levels.

I thought so too lol. The playtest is coming to a close at the end of January. The Artist I've worked with for my other two books is making more neat things to go in this one and hopefully the book should be out in March. Depends on how long editing and formatting take.

Pactbound Playtest [PEACH]

Some are born with power, some gain power through study and careful application of intellect, and some gain power through force of will or faithful prayer. Then there are those who are willing to pay for power, to gain what they want by bargaining with beings great and terrible from realms beyond the mortal plane.
Pactbounds are the last of these. They have some inherent power, but their desire for more calls them to make a pact with a planar emissary to gain a connection to that plane that enhances their power and grants them the ability to call upon spirits of that plane to aid them by sacrificing the power of their very soul.

So, I've been working on this content on the side while working on Shards of Power and Whispers of Immortality and its finally ready for playtesting!

Pactbound is a full 20 level base class for Pathfinder 1e that uses the Akashic Magic subsystem from Dreamscarred Press. The class relies on the player devoting themselves to powerful extraplanar beings, be they Deities, Elementals, Fey, or otherwise to make Pacts. This allows them access to akshic veils and the ability to summon spirits from their pact.

Inside you can find:

  • -The Pactbound- a full 20 level class
  • -6 Pacts- including Astral, Celestial, and Draconic, with their associated spirits
  • -2 Archetypes- the Pactblade (a PoW initiation archetype that gains access to disciplines based off their pact) and the Hexbound (a brand and hex using pactbound that weakens enemies)

Well, time for an update for everyone who's interested!

Due to some issues with other works being published and some editing and reworks that needed to be done, the book release was delayed. BUT!

Just got word from my publisher/editor: they're trying to finish final layout on the book by monday and it should hopefully go up for sale on DrivethruRPG next week!


Made several edits to the class archetypes and veils for clarity and wording.


The path to immortality is winding and is different for each who walks it. Whether they seek to attain it through enduring crafts or arts, majestic magical works, great deeds of heroism or infamy, or founding their own dynasty. This book explores those who would leave their mark upon eternity through mastery of self and many of the different ways of doing so.

So I've been putting a new book together after the response I received for Shards of Power, and its finally all put together! Working to publish under Studio M again after the playtest.

This is Whispers of Immortality, a 3rd party supplement for Pathfinder 1e using Dreamscarred Press's Path of War subsystem as well as Akashic Magic and Psionics, And Drop Dead Studios' Spheres of Power system. It incorporates many themes from Japanese, Chinese, Persian, and other mythologies to create fun and interesting content.
