For those who have spent a good deal of money on PF 1E books, and are hoping to continue to play it in the future. Players available will quickly dwindle once those books go out of print. Sure, there will be PDFs to download, but is every player willing to spend the time and money to print these books out one at a time themselves? Punching holes in each page in batches and buying binders to place them into. Spending lots of money on ink and heavy test paper just to play a game that should have never died in the first place? For those who are about to be bit by the RPG marketing bug for the first time, just know that this is the norm, and will not get any better. Each version that comes out will either get people on board, or push them away entirely. This is the way of things, there's nothing you can do but watch how things play out.
Just an update: I got my replacement today, I don't know if due to the books age or what, but this one has separation at the headband as well. The side that faces you when your reading the book is fine (for now), but the opposite is clearly separated between the headband and pages, it's easy to see when you open the book half way. I'm not returning it again though, I can live with it.

I think I heard UPSMI waits for 100 packages. Going to Denver, that typically took a week, i.e., I'd get the "your package is due to ship in XX days" then it would actually ship in a week (and then it took another week). The UPS tracking would then begin updating (but it got hinkey once they handed off to the postal service). As a result of this, it will be different every month, too, particularly if there aren't a lot of subscribers in your area, in which case you're relying on even more people to decide they want whatever was released that month. That's good to know Taks, thanks for the information!.
Forty days is a long time to wait for something you've already paid for; I would be losing my patience for sure. Since there's no tracking, I would have thought it was lost along the way, and I would be getting worried. Like I said before, when buying from the States, it usually takes three weeks for the parcel to arrive.
I'm not asking for Paizo to do anything about it, I'll be returning the book back to the Coles book store, where I got it; I just want to know if the book I have is defective based on the pictures that I've provided; if it's not, then I'll be keeping it. I'm sorry for posting so many times, I just want the companies opinion on the matter. https://goo.gl/photos/vx5CVe77PPYkhu7c9
I just wanted to add that I dislike returning anything unless I have good reason to. When I do return something, I always worry what the replacement will be like. I think that all "The Inner Sea World Guides" have a problem with curved covers, due to the added folded map, so that's not really an issue. It's the separation that bothers me, I have three other hardcover Pathfinder RPG Books, they are: Core Rulebook, Bestiary, and the Advanced Players Guide. None have that separation where the headband is. I don't have that issue with my D&D books either.

Hello, I live in Ontario, Canada, and my last order took about 3 weeks to arrive. That's the norm for where I live when I'm buying from the US; and since I live in Canada, I mostly buy from Amazon.ca, and Chapters Indigo.
I've uploaded the images to Google Photos, that should solve that problem. I'll have to take another picture, because the front cover is also curved and doesn't lay flat when closed; must me due to having the folded Inner Sea Map placed at the back of the book, causing warping. https://goo.gl/photos/vx5CVe77PPYkhu7c9 Edit: Added another picture to the album showing the curved front cover.
Here's a direct link to each picture, the link above doesn't seem to work. http://i1281.photobucket.com/albums/a519/Dire_wolf_pack/Pathfinder%20RPG%20 Books/DSCF1648_zpsgvikyozk.jpg http://i1281.photobucket.com/albums/a519/Dire_wolf_pack/Pathfinder%20RPG%20 Books/DSCF1647_zpskmxfhgpa.jpg http://i1281.photobucket.com/albums/a519/Dire_wolf_pack/Pathfinder%20RPG%20 Books/DSCF1646_zpsyerbzyfb.jpg
I ordered "The Inner Sea World Guide" from Chapters Indigo Canada, and it arrived today, I picked it up and brought it home.

I thank you very much Diego, and Paizo too!. I received the email, and I'll take a few pictures later today, and upload them to you guys; it's very much appreciated!.
I'm a bit disappointed, it wasn't long ago that I had received my copy of "Pathfinder Chronicles: Gods and Magic" in the mail, I was very happy!. I've been reading and enjoying the book, but I noticed that pages 3-14 are wanting to separate from the binding, in fact, the bottom has separated from the spine a good 1.5 inches at the bottom in the page range I mentioned above, and I'm sure the rest will follow though continued use.

I always try to buy from the store that hosts our local PFS group when I buy hard copies, though I do buy a lot of PDFs these days. Yes that's the first thing I would do, but they normally have nothing that you're looking for, at least not where I live.

My recommendation would be when you're preparing a game (assuming you're a GM), simply open up the Bestiary 1 errata thread, and in the search bar, look up the name of the creature and see if any errors have been posted about it (and compare it to what the 3rd printing is already saying is fixed). Alright, thanks for pointing me to that thread!. :)

Thanks for the link Feros!.
Strife2002 wrote: Reckless Hound, if you're curious about a collection of errata for the edition you have (which is the latest edition as of writing this), then here's a compiled list of items that I put together of errata from this thread that weren't addressed yet. Thanks Strife2002, that's quite the list, it's a lot to take in.
