Have used Maptools before, but been long enough that I'd need to spend a few hours learning to set it up again. For the group I've been running with, we just image-ripped maps off Adventure Path PDFs and emailed it, since it was faster. I wouldn't recommend doing that with a group I've never worked with before, as the lack of minis becomes a problem. My group worked only because we used a chess-based naming system for the squares on a given map. ![]()
![]() Fellow Rockfordian. I won't be here for much longer (graduate medical school in April/May). But I'd be happy to play a one shot or something. But if you just recently moved to Rockford, let me tell you right now: get the hell out of there ASAP. Its a dying town, buddy. Don't waste your potential or career in that corpse of a city. ![]()

Hey, I'm -6 GMT and your schedule works well with mine. I've been actively running online D&D/Pathfinder games for over a decade. I was strongly considering running one of the Adventure Paths. Gimme a email if you want to work together. Email: supersenshib@yahoo.com

I actually do use Skype, among other clients like AIM, yahoo messenger, and Trillian, to run online chat games. Such games typically run as fast as a tabletop game, though getting visual props or maps may occasionally be a problem. The group I usually run such games with have a system of quickly sending jpgs with maps since none of us like the maptools program. I actually am looking for a new group to run the Kingmaker adventure path. I'd like to be a PC, preferably, but I can DM on Skype if I must. Feel free to drop an email as supersenshib@yahoo.com if you'd like to talk further. If you do email me, please set the email subject as "D&D," otherwise I automatically delete mail from unknown addresses. Cheers,

![]() Hello, longtime lurker, new poster. I'm looking for an online Kingmaker game, preferably via AIM or other free, computer-illiterate friendly, text-based IM or chatting client. I'm okay with either 1 DM-1 player or good old fashioned group campaign. Preferably weekly game sessions. I can generally play any day of the week during the evenings, but weekends are best.I'm in Central Time Zone. The above has the following caveats that I work around: I occasionally have evening meetings, lectures, or presentations, which I find out about two weeks in advance. I have call every 4th night. These caveats should not pose a problem to attending a game session as long as I am aware of when the next game session is scheduled at least a week in advance. Cheers,
