Raylyyn stands 5'2" 145 pounds, clean shaved with a long Black braid, Brown eyes. he wears blue Silk Shirt and Navy blue silk Pants with a embroidered purple sash and sturdy Leather sandals (entertainers outfit). Two Sai rest in his belt, a Light crossbow hangs next to a quiver of bolts on his back. Next to his back pack and bedroll when traveling. Always smiling and cheerful in expression, he is quiet and reserved otherwise.

Background: at the age of 10, Raylyyn's impoverished family gave him to a monastery of the god Abadar. The Monks of Abadar guard and protect merchants and the wealthy, in The east they are also used to by merchants to retrieve stolen goods. Monks of Qadar believe that true wealth is found in Discipline and Self control. Material Wealth is not bad, but not necessary to being wealthy. Honesty, honor and obedience to Abadar are the Monks measure of true wealth. Material wealth is only an outward manifestation of these precepts. Raylyyn has traveled to Absalom with a merchant and been introduced to the society by a fellow guard. He finds the Qadira faction to be in line with both his personal and Abadar's values. Ray uses two Sai and a Light crossbow for weapons when they are needed. He manifests his wealth in Clothes. Disdaining traditional monks outfits for Loose silk pants and shirts with embroidered belts and vests. In the monastery Ray's duties where in the herbalist and healers wing. He became adept at using and growing herb's. Ray was also a bookworm. Spending long hours studying World History and religion. He is eager to explore the ruins and historical sites he has only read about in the Libraries.

Since coming to Abadar, raylyyn has opened a modest herbalism business with his "daughters" it makes him little profits personally, as his daughters spend most of the profit on themselves. his daughters are actually young girls he has taken a liking to from the streets. he has Adopted them and put them to work. He follows his tenants to the letter except in business dealings as it is not dishonest or dishonorable to attempt to profit from a transaction. however once a deal has been forged he abides by it even if it is to his detriment.

he has recently gained fame for acquiring 25 slaves from an illegal slaver and reselling them into legitimate slavery. however he was taxed severely by the Absalom authorities for doing so without a permit.

Raylyyn is currently working towards getting his own storefront or trade ship. he is not sure which, and is often disgruntled to find his daughters have spent the months profits on some new fashion item instead of investing in the future of the business.
