We drink to our youth, and to days come and gone.
For the age of oppression is now nearly done.
We'll drive out the Demons from this land that we own.
With our blood and our steel we will take back our home.

All hail to Fizzwiddle! You are the Pie King!
In your great honour we drink and we sing.
We're the children of Westcrown, and we fight all our lives.
And when Iomedae beckons, every one of us dies!
But this land is ours and we'll see it wiped clean.
Of the scourge that has sullied our hopes and our dreams.

All hail to Fizzwiddle! You are the Pie King!
In your great honor we drink and we sing.

Surprise Round:
Move to T28

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

I believe they were posting their next actions for the first turn, since we go first, and it saves time.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Ok, I had partially misunderstood the plan. What I had proposed was added onto the plan because I had thought we were going to need slightly more. So ignore all that.

Also, Ravishar won't want to have his shield on, since it has the symbol of Iomedae on it, and he won't want this associated with his church.

Ok, hiding at Z28. Have sword drawn and will charge during surprise round.

Stealth 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (16) - 4 = 12

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

"Don't attack until I have them in position."

Will stand at M18, to hail them when they approach and try to discuss the bandits with them

Also remember, that you won't be able to draw a weapon during the first action, so make sure it is already drawn.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

So we are using ready actions outside of combat? The intent of how readied actions are written, is that it can only be performed inside of combat, however that is not clearly defined. Its your call though.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Ravishar nods at the plans.

I'm glad I got in with a knowledgeable bunch. Otherwise... well I might as well have stayed in the sewers.

Ravishar gets a look of disgust on his face at the thought.

"That sounds like a good plan Lord Berrain. I wonder if it might also be possible to distract them even more at the bridge. I could hail them, and talk to them when the are on the bridge, then Lord Berrain, you hit them from the other side. We will have them flanked."

The only thing that would make this plan more perfect is would be a rogue hidden in the water, that jumps up onto the bridge to flank from the middle... Ravishar, stop thinking crazy.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Ravishar eyes Fizzwiddle slantingly.

"Uhm... Maybe we will find some coal or something blackening on the way? I mean... if all else fails... we can... butter ourselves?"

He raises an eyebrow and looks sideways at the butter. He shakes his head and focuses back on his surroundings.

"Yes, let's pretend to the the bandits. I say if nothing else, it will get justice on their heads a little sooner. I'm ready to head out when the time comes."

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

I think I'm glad you two are always speaking in gnome.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

1 hit point gained from sleeping

Ravishar has a fitful sleep, the days events reminding him of his past. He awakens, and quickly empties his minds of memories, use to those types of dreams. He gets up and dresses himself, putting on his armor and sword. After a much needed breakfast, he takes the time to sharpen his sword.

He uses his whetstone on the sword. Next attack +1 damage.

"I also agree with the bridge idea. I am not one for hiding, never been good at it. Plus at the bridge, we may be able to get a few of them into the river to give us more time."

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

I shall prepare my spell of ass kicking. Oh wait, I don't need a spell for that.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Guy is right. We don't want to try and hit them in the city, to many guards, to many innocents. If they aren't expecting anyone to come for him, we may be at an advantage."

Ravishar thinks a moment about what they can do.

"I'm not sure if any of us are good with bows, I know I'm not particularly. A ranged attack may be out of the option. If we could set up some sort of a distraction, might give us the edge we need."

Been playing to much assassins creed. Maybe a few florians on the ground would distract them.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

"We should follow, we are apart of the group now."

Ravishar heads after them, still not completely sure about all that's going on.

"So the Hellknights must know about this movement? They grabbed Areal and ended up following us to our meeting spot, to where we had to run through a disgusting, goblin infested sewer to get here."

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Ravishar pauses and blinks at fizz's words and salami. He slowly backs up and closes the door.

I didn't just see what I thought I saw. Or did I?

He rubs his eyes, then opens the door again and reenters.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Ravishar returns to the inn knocking three times on the door. When let in he moves down the hall, find an empty room to drop his gear, and immediately moves to the washroom to clean, despite the hunger he feels. Once cleaned off as best as possible, though the stench still clings to him, he heads to the kitchen to satisfy his ravenous stomach.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Jib, let me know when I get back to the inn.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

It only took us 3 weeks!

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

"I will be back soon." Ravishar heads out the door, moving nonchalantly through the city to the temple.

Well Ravishar, you've done it again. You're tangled up in more than you asked for. Remember the time in Andoran? Yeah. I guess this is exactly why I came here though. Looking to help this city. Beating things back in the night is ok, but it doesn't make a real difference. Maybe this is what I've been looking for?

Ravishar focuses back on his surroundings, trying to listen to people as he passes, see if there is any news about them or the Hellknights that were chasing them.

Perception 1d20 ⇒ 16

When he arrives at the church, he gathers his stuff, and heads back to the safe house as quickly, and normally as he can, knocking thrice on the door when he arrives.

Unless you say something happens, I'm going to assume everything goes well.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Ravishar sheathes his sword and gives Janiven a sincere look.

"Lady Janiven, I have never turned away a person in need, and I'll be damned if I turn down a Lady in distress. Besides, I'm not sure how much of a choice we have. We have no idea if they knew that we were there or not. I need to head back to the church and gather my belongings, but I am with you until the end."

He snaps his feet together, thumps his chest with his fist, and gives a slight bow.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

HP 9/14

Ravishar grunts as Guy swats his back, then rolls his shoulders, stretching out a bit, flinching at the pain.

"I never would have made it through without Lady Vinhoven. She saved my life." Ravishar gives Erliana a sincere smile.

"Now, what do do about these goblins. I know they belong with the sewage, but I'm afraid it will just make the sewage worse." Ravishar slops the goblins into a line on the walkways once everyone is done frisking them.

"Well, once you are all done, lets be on our way. I believe Janiven said the end was close. I'm not sure how much more of this I can take." He sniffs a bit, then gags.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

What's the stats on the horsecutter? I only found one mention of it on a google search, and it looked like it had the same stats as a dwarven war axe. Or are we not suppose to know?

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Ravishar grunts again, as the healing washes over him and the large goblin falls. Seeing one goblin left he says "Let's finish this and be done with these sewers"

Move action:

Ravishar moves over to the goblin

Move to N7

Standard Action:

and attempts to strike him down.

Attack G2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Jib, I say bot fizz for this round.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Oh my gosh. I can't believe I forgot about smite evil. Maybe I should have just chosen fighter.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Erliana, might be good to use your hex on this one. Oh and fizz, you could swap for their feces, then shove it down their throat and see if they like that.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

HP: 2/14

Ravishar can't help this time but to scream out in pain, which is cut short by a mouth full of feces. He gags on the awful taste, feeling sick to his stomach from it. He knows his best choice now is to try and stay alive, but that falling back to far would just let the goblins focus on someone else.

Move Action:
Ravishar takes a 5-foot-step back to L8

Standard Action:
Ravishar sets himself up behind his shield, hoping he can fend off the next attack.

Total Defense: +4 dodge to AC. AC: 21

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

The world slowly comes to a stand still, as everyone waits for their actions to finish.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Health: 6/14

Ravishar grunts as the weapon tears into his arm. "Might need healing up here!"

Standard Action:
Ravishar counters back at the Large Goblin, trying to make him feel the same pain.

Attack on Large Goblin 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Damage 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Chance for Crit 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

Edit: Totally forgot I don't have lay on hands yet.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Fizz, I'm disappointed. Using rough twice in the song? You had been doing so well.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Ravishar steels himself,

Move:
then runs out there and strikes a dramatic pose.
Move to K8

Standard Action:
He points his longsword at the large goblin and says "Prepare to feel the wrath of Iomedae!"
Intimidate 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Ravishar hates to see the goblin get away, afraid he might raise the alarm, but it can't be helped.

He follows along with the rest of the group until Janiven mentions more goblins.

Ravishar thinks a bit then says "I have a plan. I will go stand out in the open, and draw them to me. Then when they get to me, you all ambush them. How many are there Janiven?"

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

I think guy fell into the sewage and disappeared.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

5-foot-step:
Ravishar takes a step forward to get a better angle. Moves to D6

Standard:

"Let us put an end to this evil."
Attack G2 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Damage 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Move:
Ravishar splashes into the water and sloshes up to E6

Standard:
He attacks goblin 2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Damage 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Hey fizz, Prestidigitation lasts for an entire hour. So it only took one use for to clean us off. Just FYI for future.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Sorry, for some reason I keep thinking the name Guy is referring to me.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Ravishar notes that everyone seems to be hiding, but as he shifts and hears his armor creak he knows there is no hope.

Move:
Ravishar moves to E5.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

"Sir Glockenfleffor, I believe you put to many As in the fornicay." Ravishar half smiles, not sure if he just made a joke or not.

Upon hearing a noise, Ravishar draws his sword. At this rate maybe I shouldn't even bother putting it away.

"Looks like we have more company. Guys right, we are better off running than fighting, and with this clunky armor I hide like a tree in a desert. I'll take back again, Guy take front."

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

"First Hellknights, then slimes, now goblins? It's rather cliche, but I should have stayed in bed this morning."

Ravishar helps continue to move things aside, but keeps glancing at the dead goblin.

"Well looks like things will be getting more difficult here on out. Be sure and stay together, and stay alert. If he was really setting a trap, then we have to be on the watch out for that. Anyone here able to deal with those?"

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Ravishar helps move the garbage until Fizz speaks.

Perception 1d20 ⇒ 4

Ravishar draws his sword and stacks up to the wall, next to the intersection. He whispers "Everyone get ready. We don't know whose coming. Me and Guy will prepare, and draw their attention if needed. The rest of you, see if you can get behind some cover. Make sure and check your target before you act. Can anyone tell if it's one or more people coming?"

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Guy, are you going archer combat style and picking up two weapon fighting on your regular feats?

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

I guess I better grin and bear it

Move:
Ravishar plops into the sewage, and moves around guy to stand on dry ground.

Move to H3

Standard:
Ravishar strikes again at the slimes.

Attack on T5: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

(AKA Wofguy)

Surprisingly, the CRB isn't very exciting with its choices. I guess the reason I liked pathfinder, was how much extra material was avaialable.

I present Ravishar, a paladin for Iomedae. He's the only character idea I have that follows the CRB. I'm currently using him for a Council of Thieves adventure. I'll make a new alias when the time comes, in the mean time this is mainly what he will be.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Move:
Ravishar draws his longsword, knowing they need to get through this fast

Standard:
Ravishar strikes at Torble #6
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Ugh, this small sewer is going to make it difficult to fight. should I jump in the water... No, there's probably worse things than torbles in there.

5-foot-step:
Ravishar slides forward a bit, taking a five foot step, if there is room

Full Round Action:
Ravishar sets himself up behind his shield, ready for what may come. He uses total defense

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15
GM Jib wrote:
The tunnels of the sewers are teen foot wide, with a 3-foot-deep deep trench of water and waste taking up half that width.

So its ten feet wide, but half the width is taken up by the water, so five feet wide.

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

DM, by your description I'm assuming we have to be in a single file line?

Guy, your AC is 1 higher, but you have 3 less health. Not sure which one of us should be in front, probably you because 1 more AC means a lot more this early. Unless you disagree, in which case I'll take front. Except I said that I was taking rear earlier, so we don't even have that option.

initiative 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Ravishar readies himself. Just what we need, natives giving us trouble

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Perception 1d20 ⇒ 9

Ravishar puts the potions into his belt pouch and sees Janiven start to board up the door. Smart one there, I just had the same idea, though mine involved rope.

"Lets try and stay together the best we can. Whoever thinks they have the best eyesight should be at the front with Guy, I'll lead up the back of the group."

I feel like I should stay behind to help Janiven, but I know she can handle herself, and truthfully, I'll be more help to her if I don't get caught with here. Iomedae I pray she makes it alright. but silently he curses himself for feeling so weak.

Percentage 1d100 ⇒ 76
1. Perception 1d20 ⇒ 3
2. Perception 1d20 ⇒ 2
3. Perception 1d20 ⇒ 15
4. Perception 1d20 ⇒ 1
5. Perception 1d20 ⇒ 11
6. Perception 1d20 ⇒ 18
7. Perception 1d20 ⇒ 20

Oh crap, I am so screwed

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Ravishar hurrys to move debris off the pile and get it in front of the door. "Janiven, you lead everyone through the tunnel to wherever it goes. Fizz, you take care of the child, make sure he makes it through all right. Me and Guy will cover the back, and fight them off if its needed. Iomedae, I pray it is not."

Male Human Paladin 1 HP 10/14, AC 15

Perception 1d20 ⇒ 9 try and see what I can about those coming

Knowledge (Local) on the Order of the Rack (untrained) 1d20 ⇒ 7

Ravishar sees the number coming. "We have company guys, and I don't think we are any match for them. Guys right, we need to get out of here. You must have planned for something like this, a back door, some other way out of here?"
