The maid's smile is honest as she gives a whirl of her skirt, "'tis only candles and a table, Rahnna" and then she is gone beyond the curtain, keeping the small crowd in this cozy tavern happy. His reading is more distracted by his thoughts than the tavern itself. He could hardly contain his excitement. Magnimar! he thinks, The City of Monuments! And this brute a Pathfinder. ha!
