"Y-yes Sir-er... Madame!"
"I'd Answer her, she good at making a fuss..." Ranindolf nudges the guard.
Sir Winston wrote: Bored to action, Sir Winston rises to his feet, and makes a pronouncement.
"I'm tired of all this inaction". "I'm going out into the streets and kill a shadow creature".
"...Uhh, yeah, well a shadow creature sounds dangerous and stuff, I think killing a shadow beast is the best way to protect ms... the Lady..." Ranindolf says, making his way towards Sir winston.
" So uhh... What did you... ahhumm... what did you think...? ...of the play?
"H-Hamel Harpe... I-uhhh, I guess I'm new to the arts..."
Ranindolf turns to the big guy, " What was his problem?"
"Well, what were you expecting?" Ranin says before thinking, "Err- I mean, it's nothing to yell about... ya know... everyone has their bad days... Ranindolf continues, starting to trail off.
"What is going on? what's wrong?" Ranin walks up and asks Ulvauno and the big guy.
"What is going on, what's wrong?" Ranin says as he makes his way outside behind Sir Winston.
Sir Winston wrote: Feeling a bit out of place in this whole 'artzy, fartzy' conversations Sir Winston siezes the opportunity to leave.
"Stay here"! "I'll go see what this is all about", Sir Winston exclaims rising from his chair too quickly, and knocking it over in the process".
He then takes a moment to listen at the door before opening it.

"I'll help too!" Ranindolf rises to follow Sir WInston.
Prof. Faradir Rokannon wrote: Wentworth wrote:
"Perhaps the lady would be interested in the role: did you say you wanted to perform, my Lady? You'd be perfect for the female lead, if I may make so bold..."
Professor Rokannon placidly smokes his pipe as he puts in; "But of course she will. She is the best actress and freshest face in the city." "Umm Yeah... she is..."
"I...I like comedy..." Ranindolf says carefully.
Sister Milena Teg wrote: We were just talking about the great influence a theatre can have for people, as it shows them emotions in a cathartic way and sublimes, if only for an hour, the shackles of darkness surrounding them. Ranindolf quietly drinks his wine, trying not to draw too much attention to himself. He has no idea what Milena is talking about, and doesn't want to embarrass everyone with his confusion.
Ranin starts looking around for the professor, and finally finds him in the theater with a few other stragglers. "Umm, Prof., The play is over, were gonna hit the tavern and uhh, stuff... Ohh. and there are others, so think up a good allyus and let's go! I'm going by Hansel Harpe! So don't forget!"
"Y-yes Sir!" Ranin gives a quick salute and then rushes off to where Winston and The Princess's Handmaiden is at.
"The owner of the playhouse would like us to join him at the tavern, would you two like to please come along?"

Assuming Ranin reads the situation right,
Ranin looks around, he's not good at lying..."Uhh... Yeah, I-I'm uhh, handle... harp ... Yeah, Handel Harpe, I'm M-Mildred's body gaurd..." Ranindolf says, dropping his gaze and slightly turning away his head as he tells his lie.
Bluff 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (2) - 2 = 0
If Ranin does not understand:
...? (What's going on?)
Ranindolf stares, with his mouth shut tight, waiting to see what happens next.
Sorry, I thought that we had exited the the theater now that the play had ended, and that was where the current conversation me and Gorvio were having was at. I assumed that Ranin could see the others, but not make out their conversation. (Ranin actually has a good perception skill, believe it or not.)
"Oh her? That's Miss Mil..." Ranindolf freezes, remembering a smidgen too late that they are supposed to be under cover.
"Ahh...umm, one of your better actors looks pretty upset..." Ranin says to the two men and then points over to his friends whom are trying to console the Princess's handmaiden.
Megan Robertson wrote: The fellow in the red robe is standing near the entrance as you leave, looking rather displeased. He's in conversation with a younger man with blond hair who is waving a sheaf of paper and shouting something about wanting better actors to do the work justice... "Yeah it's too bad, the play had plenty of potential. Aren't there other performs out there somewhere?" Ranindolf butts in...
Ranindolf returns to his seat to continue watching the play.
"...Ohh... So you fled from the other horse because you were afraid of it? Ok, that makes sense!" Ranindolf says with a nod and a tone of understanding. "They were putting the other horse away so it should be safe now."
As Ulvauno moves by Ranin to enter the theater, Ranin blatantly asks, "Why did you ride the horse out of the Theater like that?"
Ranin, follows after Gorvio, "Hey Gorvio, What's going on?"
Sister Milena Teg wrote: "Thanks! The brown one didn't budge. An actor rode it off the stage." "Yeah, it was pretty impressive!" Ranindolf butts in out of nowhere...
Not sure how else to help, Ranin helps with the less mobile audience members, such as the elderly.
"Sir Winston...? Milena? What are you two..." Rannin says to him self in thought, and apparently the light finally flickers on. "Hey Prof... I don't think that's part of the play..." He says with a surprised voice, and then gets up to assist the others.
"Wait a minute... Whats Gorvio doing down there? Uhoh... That must mean... Gorvio is part of the play?! Why didn't he tell anyone?!"
"Wow, I never thought they would have the horse come out into the audience. It's pretty convincing that the horse is panicking too, the musicians scattering was a nice touch." Raninin says to whomever is sitting next to him, assuming it's all "part of the act."
Ranin dawns the green floppy hat, and the brown cloak.
Disguise 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (17) - 2 = 15 Wow, not to shabby... Was expecting far worse...
After a quick look in the mirror and a nod of self approval, he is off to the play in his disguise.
At the play, ranin keeps an eye out for anyone suspicious or whom may seem to be watching him or the others (they did just attack a group of hell knights the other day...).
Perception 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10 ( - any penalties from being distracted while watching the play, as Ranin is easily entertained.)
"Could you help me out, I'm not really good with this kind of thing..." He says, pointing at his tarnished outfit, and looking the same as he did the day they attacked the gaurds. "I'm not sure if we should be grouped or spread...I hope they let me take my armor...just in case... Ranin says, seeming attached to his armor.
Ranin spends 1 gp for his ticket, and a great deal of food to share with everyone on the way to his seat. He also buys whatever he needs for a convincing disguise (but he cannot afford a disguise kit), hoping/assuming that one of the other PC's helps him with hiding his identity.
Then it is unanimous that we all go to the play...
Megan Robertson wrote: Thesing Umbero Ulvauno regards Gorvio with a firm gaze.
"That will be acceptable. Don't be late." He stalks off without a backward glance.
Anyone else fancy a trip to the theatre? Or to do anything else before the morrow?
DM listening to the Brobdingnagian Bards again!
If Govio shares the information, Ranin will go if at least someone else is, assuming they do not do anything tonight about the night beast situation. Otherwise he sticks with the others in the safe house for the night. Ranin is pretty easygoing, and goes with the flow with whatever any of the others do.
Ranindolf follows Milena and Winston, however he is ok if they want to wait for Gorvio and the prof's participation as well...
"That sounds like a good idea. Are you sure you want to be bait though... sounds dangerous..."
"That sounds like a good idea. Are you sure you want to be bait though... sounds dangerous..."
*Blink* *blink*
System-what? Ranin blankly stares. Ahh... yeah! I'm good for... Uhh... anything? Ranindolf says, not sounding to sure of himself.
Megan Robertson wrote: There are plenty of lesser bandit bands plying their trade on the roads into Westcrown.
A mysterious masked woman known as Bluehood has been seen in taverns of an evening offering to pay good money to anyone slaying a 'shadowbeast' and leaving the corpse on the garbage stoop outside the tavern across from the old Leroung estate. It's certainly true that people are getting quite scared to wander the streets at night, or even to let the cat out!
"So... Ummm, While we are lying down low, do you guys wan- er... and girls- want to look into that nightbeaste thing that that bluehood lady was talking about? You know, that lady who keeps popping up in the taverns... Wears a blue hood... Or... we seemed pretty good the other day taking out the hell knights... Heck, we crushed them... well, you know, in a not so violent type of crushing way, but ahh... maybe we can bring down a few bandits... or something...?"
Gorvio Marnok wrote: Gorvio nodds his head at both Faradir and Milena. "I agree with you Professor, that learning the word on the street is a good idea." Gorvio turns his head and raises an eyebrow while saying, "It is true that you are not associated with our group in anyway. However I think it may be best if I accompany you. I am very good at talking to people, and based on the circumstances of the fight with the Hellknights, none of them should have been able to see me from my position in the fight. Besides, two heads are better than one. So where would you like to start, the tavern, inn, merchants or someplace else that has a vested interest in armed thugs?" "Did you need some... uhhh... protection? ...I'll try not to talk much..." Ranin offers.
Megan Robertson wrote: "Not much more to say. It might be better to lay low for a while. Let those Hellknights get distracted about other things..." says Arael thoughtfully. ...Other things like what?
Ranin is easily swayed for laying low, or looking into the Bastards of Erebus.

Sir Winston wrote: "Enough idle chatter". "Now that your bonds are removed, let's get to the business of deciding what we need to do about these ruffians". "What details can you give us"? "Is there an obvious way to infiltrate their den of sin"? "How many are they, and what are their strengths and weaknesses"? "Any obvious resources we should be aware of"? "Can you sketch out a map so that we can properly plan? "When should we plan our attack? , as through with his praying and healing, Sir Winston becomes a whirlwind of activity.
To whomever need is, and stopping if he's through before he runs out of channels (Sorry been so long since the battle I've forgotten who's hurt, and don't have time at the moment to go back and look :-)
I think Ranin was the only one hurt, and your first usage tops him off!
I would like to know more about these Bastards of Eberus as well. Maybe they have something to do with the Counsel of Thieves? Ranin says, looking to Gorvio as he mentions the counsel.
I'm on it like honey on bears!

This is Alicia, she is here on her mothers behalf to speak to Areal...Wait a minute..." It is obvious that he realized that he said something wrong or something he shouldn't have... but he has yet to realize what exactly it was...
Sister Milena Teg wrote: Now, do you know where I can find him?"
Ranin points a thumb behind him. "That guy, in the cuffs..."
Sense Motive 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (3) - 2 = 1 Ohh, Gullible Ranindolf!
Whew! It's not a Hell knight!... It's just a pretty girl! Its very nice of you to help on your mothers behalf! Here, dry yourself off... Ranin looks down to the warhammer in his hands. Well, this ain't gonna help. Prof., can you use some of that presentation magical spell stuff like you used before? Ranindolf asks, obviously he totaly buys her story, without question...
...Are you two like...twins or something?...
Sister Milena Teg wrote: ...bangs on the door of the church.
At least, I'll get out of the rain! "Anybody here? Please let me in! I need to speak with Arael. I've been looking for him everywhere for the last month."
Hey, I think that's for you!...
Ranindolf walks over to the door about to open it, but then hesitates...
...
...
Hey, wait... You don't suppose its the hell knights, pretending to be a poor girl who wanted to speak with Arael for like a month or something... do you?!
Ranin goes to draw his hammer, but doesn't. He seems to be stuck on weather to open the door or to ready himself for a fight.
Sir Winston wrote: "Violent...Raising Hell...Who are these Miscreants". "Sir Winston will deal with them.".
Yeah, me too... Wait a minute... Did you just say there is another Sir Winston? Are you two like...twins or something?
Megan Robertson wrote: "Well," says Arael, "Fundementally, I want to see Westcrown become a better place to live. I don't really care if the House of Thrune steps up to do its duty or steps aside... but things have to change around here." ...Uhh...What he said!
Megan Robertson wrote: As you settle down, getting harangued by Sir Winston, lighting the fire and finding some food and drink, the door opens and Gorvio slips in.
Arael looks pretty battered although he is conscious.
"Thank you all very much for rescuing me," he says. "But if I may be so bold, what motivated you to attack the Hellknights to do so?"
No Problem!...Ummm... Ranindolf looks at the others. Why did we save him again?
