The thing to remember in this case is that this isn't an errata situation, this is an edition change.

The Pathfinder Chronicles: Campaign Setting book predates the Pathfinder RPG. It was written for the 3.5 edition of Dungeons and Dragons.

The version in the Inner Sea World Guide is the Pathfinder version of the class.

I knew that the Inner Sea World Guide would more than likely take precedence over the Chronicles Book. The main reason I asked the question was because there is a software program that was created by Code Monkey called PCGen that lets you create NPC or PC's. The program pops up w/ an error message that the Alter Self spell is not on the spell list for that class.

Thank You, for answering the question

I have the Pathfinder Chronicles Campaign Setting book that was released in 2008 that gives spell lists for the Red Mantis Assassin all the way up to 5th level. The Inner Sea World Guide doesn't have the spell list for the RMA. It states that the RMA can only learn sorcerer/wizard spells from the from the schools of Transmutation And Illusion. The paragraph ends stating that they add two other spells @ each of the following levels 2nd,4th,6th, 8th, & 10th levels. Is there an errata pdf available?

Thank you very much for letting me know where to find it

The character for whom I'm considering purchasing this is currently wearing the following items: a +5 Mithril Agile Breastplate, +3 Ring of Protection, and a +2 Amulet of Natural Armor. I think that I'm missing something in your explanation but I'm not sure just what exactly, so I would greatly appreciate it if you could explain your answer just a little bit more clearly.

I found an error that I think needs to be corrected. The error is in the description of the Gunman's Duster. The description reads that the Gunman's Duster provides a +4 armor bonus to AC and a +2 luck bonus to the wearer's touch AC against firearm attacks.

The Bullet Shield spell, which is used during the items creation, (Ultimate Combat pg. 225) grants a +4 deflection bonus to AC against firearm and ranged attacks with an additional +1/5 caster levels.
The '+4' bonus is of which type of "armor" or "deflection"?

I know the difference between the two bonuses, but I think that the word lack of the word "Deflection" in the items description was a simple proofreading error.

Thanks

Where can I find this Vilkacis monster that you are discussing? I've looked in all of the following books: Bestiary I,II,II, Bonus Bestiary, and the Revisited PDFs.

Just as Cade begins to search the bodies for loot, the monk motions for him to stop, as a robed figure approaches the group.

"Ezekiel, I see that Cade was asked to introduce himself again." says the robed figure as he gets closer

The monk looks at the figure and simply nods his head in response

I would like to thank U for answering my question. I didn't think that there would be any problem, but I've always tried to ask just to double check.

I currently have enough Prestige Award points to buy any item worth 11,750gp or less. Are any of Wonderous Items from Chapter 15 of the Pathfinder Core Rule Book available for purchase in PSOP? I have found several of that list that would benefit my character.

Scarab Sages

I have three questions that I would like to have answered. Here are the questions. The rules given in chapter 10 of the PSOP are not very clear as to whether this is legal. I am asking this first question because in my opinion it would be no different than upgrading a +1 magical longsword to a +2 magical longsword.

1) Is it legal to upgrade a +1 magical weapon, armor, or a shield with an enhancement bonus (i.e. keen or fortification, light) using the rules given in chapter 10 of Pathfinder Society Organized Play?

2) What other types of magic items listed in chapter 15 of the Core Rule Book are available for purchase besides the magical weapons, armor, shields, potions, & scrolls.

3) I'm playing a monk character in the Pathfinder Society Organized Play. In all of the season 0 scenarios that I played up to this date, There has been a limited number of items that are of useable to the monk character class.

I would like to have a chance to win the hard cover version that you are willing to give away. My friends and I would be appreciative

I want to thank silverhair2008 for answering my question that I posted this past Saturday afternoon.

Scarab Sages

I would like to know does the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook take precedence over the Pathfinder Campaign Setting Rules? I ask because Humans listed in that book could chose a martial weapon for free. This human trait was also listed in the beta version rules as well. I like all of the effort that was put into that single book. Thank you

I have to admit that is a interesting way of getting people away from the television screen & off the couch! Did the Swedish goverment give the stipend to the group or did each person in the group get a portion of it? I don't think that would work to well here because someone or somebody would complain saying that role playing gamers were being singled out for special treatment.

I'm asking this because the information on this webpage seems abit confusing to me. Is the date on this webpage is referring to the availabilty at a local retailer? The webpage says that the pdf file will be available later in January.

Scarab Sages

Will any of these Pathfinder Companions be available for purchase in either hardcover or softcover formats at local retailers?

Scarab Sages

I was aware of the fact that Wizards of the Coast had stopped. I have just recently heard of this publisher so I had to ask the question. I'm hoping that this publisher is around for awhile.

Scarab Sages

Is this Pathfinder Companion similar to the supplements that gave greater detail to various areas of the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting published by Wizards of the Coast
