Raldor lets out a soft grunt, and curls one corner of his mouth up in a wry smile, remembering the hard look Theran gave earlier. He gives an appreciative nod to Marik.

Raldor places a hand on Torbin's shoulder. "I just saw the flash of light. Let's see what we can salvage from here. Raldor starts to look through what is there to see if he can collect a few items.

Raldor slashes out at the armor trying to keep it away from Torbin and the staff.

Seeing the light burst forth from the staff, and the armor heading towards Torbin, Raldor strikes again, trying to fend the automaton away from the man.

attack off hand: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Raldor growls and draws his two shortswords, attacking the nearest animated suit of armor.

attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

attack off hand: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

not sure exactly how crits work. The DM for my ftf game just uses double damage on a crit roll. I'll roll confirm and damage again, so if that's the method used I won't slow things down.

Raldor watches the others as they skirt around the out of place item. He chuckles inwardly and steps toward the staff, wary of any traps that might be waiting for him.

Raldor grunts a short laugh, "I'll follow him, so I can stop him from bumping into things in the dark. He follows, his vision swimming a bit into the black and white of darkvision.

Raldor makes his way back to the group, "The goblins fled at haste and scattered. I don't think they'll be coming back.

Not long. If they're in full retreat and don't look to be circling back, I'll only follow, from a distance for a few rounds, and then head back and report that they've run off, with no signs of coming back.

Raldor lets out a throaty growl, and pursues the goblins, "I should be able to track them easily enough.

survival tracking: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 They're favored enemies too.

Raldor bursts from the foliage, drawing two blades, and closes in on one of the uninjured goblins, swinging both weapons with deadly intent

attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
attack offhand: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

damage main: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
damage offhand: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Raldor lets loose on a goblin that's not fighting at the moment.

Raldor continues to move closer using the underbrush as cover, ready to shoot once he can see most of them, or at least account for them so he isn't caught by surprise.

stealth: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

Raldor will move closer keeping an eye out for goblin tracks, till he sees what is making the noise, readying his bow to fire if they are goblins or worse. best guess, given the high pitched voices

track goblins: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
bow shot: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

Is there someway to check to see if the dice roller is rolling random? I seem to roll nothing but 11's, not only on this character, but on any others as well. Could be coincidence, but it's starting to make me go "hmmm..."

Raldor comes back from scouting ahead and listens. He nods at Renagir, "I can move forward and check." He nods to Salmoryn, shaking his head a bit at listening to Marik making the racial distinction, "The archer and I can spot, and hit from a distance if we need to." Raldor puts a slight emphasis on the word archer.

Raldor continues to scout, doing his best to live up to his mentor. The duke dispatched a message to the home not too long ago, asking for his mentor to lead a group to some ruins. Raldor figured he'd honor the last request, so found himself here now.

He made his way back through the brush to the bulk of the group, "We can slow the pace if it will help the warrior. Perhaps that's why the estimate was for four days?"

Raldor continues his scouting, staying ahead of the party far enough so their presence doesn't alert anything he might come across. Staying just within the treeline, and moving gracefully and surprisingly stealthily for someone of his size. At regular intervals he circles back to the rest of the group, alerting them of anything he's seen. He growls a bit when Marik answers the question directed to him, but holds back any further retort.

"I don't see anything yet that should slow us down, four days is a conservative estimate, but I still think we should be wary, as always."

Perception check while scouting ahead: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
