While technically a nephew, Rakti considers himself one of Fitch's oldest 'grandchildren.' Dropped on Fitch's doorstep at a young age by a mother (Fitch's Sister) that couldn't take care of him, Rakti was raised as one of the oldest of Fitch's 'brood.' As such it often fell to him to look after the younger ones while Fitch was repairing the Master of Stars in the wake of the Scoured Stars Incident.

While it was apparent early on that Rakti didn't have the brains to be a top-rate starship mechanic like his 'grammy' Fitch wanted, he wasn't bad at doing the tasks, and could often assist when he wasn't looking after the little ones. However, as Rakti grew he began to yearn for more than just looking after young ones. So he eventually began to practice with the Starfinders who came aboard the Master of Stars, finding that he took to Solarian work quite well.

Rakti's Unique solar manifestation is a recreation of the Master of Stars complete down to the smallest detail, as he spent so much time there. He wields this holographic Miniature Starship as a shield, though he is often seen bashing people with it. Rakti says that a shield 'just feels right' though many attribute his proclivity towards protection to his desire to protect young ones. Reinforcing this point, he has found a way to use his limited knowledge of Engineering to begin building powerful powered suits of armor so he can further protect others.

Now, with a few years under his belt, he stands ready as his own starfinder. Of course he still helps out Fitch when she needs a babysitter, and will regularly help her repair the Master of Stars, make no mistake, he is finally a fully fledged Starfinder in his own right.
