Raheli heads inside, and bumps into Lem at the Embalming Parlor.

Unfortunately, the Forgotten Pharaoh Cultists have made their way in here as well! She casts Black Spot on them.
Combat 16-4=12, recharge card to use dex+1d8, recharge 1 item 4 for 1d4+4: 1d10 + 3 + 1d8 + 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 3 + (2) + (1) + 4 = 12
BlackSpot Recharge: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Once again Raheli narrowly avoids the cultists, and she and Lem knock down shelves of embalming fluids on them, trapping them.

Attempt close.
Knocking down the shelves has stopped the cultists, but revealed a hidden chamber in the parlor, in which a Natron Zombie was hiding! It lunges at Raheli, who tries to whip some of the pots and urns at it.
Combat 12+3=15, recharge card to use dex+1d8, recharge 1 item 2 for 1d4+2: 1d10 + 3 + 1d8 + 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 3 + (6) + (2) + 2 = 19

The pottery crashes into the zombie's head, rendering it into a corpse once again.

Raheli explores the Shifting Dunes around the compound.

Unfortunately, she is seen by some patrolling Forgotten Pharaoh Cultists, which immediately attack her! They seem very nasty so Raheli panics and throws everything she can find at them!
Combat 16, recharge card to use dex+1d8, recharge 2 items for 2d4+2: 1d10 + 3 + 1d8 + 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 3 + (1) + (1, 2) + 2 = 16

Defeated. Will probably try for the location close.
She barely manages to drive off the cultists. Running around a dune, she sees a Giant Sand Eel. She figures if she can lure it back to the compound, without getting herself eaten, maybe it will cause a helpful diversion. She hefts a rock with her hair and hurls it at the eel...
Combat 17, recharge card to use dex+1d8, recharge 1 items for 1d4+2: 1d10 + 3 + 1d8 + 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 3 + (4) + (4) + 2 = 17

The eel howls and barrels at Raheli. She freezes in her steps, then at the last minute dives out of the way. The eel keeps going, crashing into the compound's outer walls. Raheli is covered in sand and ichor from the eel's passage, but none the worse for wear.

The axe looks heavy and hard to conceal, but that never stopped Raheli before!

Raheli greets Seltyiel. They have made it partway around the lake, so they decide to continue around and then head back to the reception.

Unfortunately, a Carrion Golem stumbles out of the woods and attacks them!

Raheli is nervous about the upcoming receptions, as she is not exactly used to being in the public eye. Most Samsarans would be happy to share their hospitality with anyone, but she has led a life of less-than reputable hobbies, and "social darling" is nowhere on her resume.

She decides to take a walk around the Golden Lake to clear her mind.

Unfortunately, as she walks the lake path, she runs into Ecclezio Uticus, one of the individuals the pathfinders hoped to impress!

She starts up some awkward conversation about the weather, and stumbles through some smalltalk... but then notices that, dangling from Ecclezio's belt is what looks suspiciously like a lock-picking kit! Raheli takes a chance and asks about it. Once the subject is broached, she reveals that her magical hair is quite useful at being "creative" with physical security!

Raheli is delivered a note form her fellow agents that they have accumulated enough evidence, and are concluding their investigation. They request that she head to the Vault of Hidden Wisdom to keep en eye out there during their final search.

She heads to the Vault. Having previously looted it to the best of her abilities, she pauses to go through her provisions and weapons, to best be ready for anything.

She uses her Staff of Minor Healing to recharge a bit of energy as well.

Raheli decides to head to the Great Library of Tephu, on the grounds that books are hopefully less nasty than guard scrolls. Lem did mention a genie there; maybeit will grant her a wish!

She runs into the Geniekin, but it's clearly not a friend like me! Raheli casts Black Spot and lashes out!

The Geniekin is cut by her magical hair, and dissipates into the wind.

Raheli enters the library's reading room, looking for any leads. She meets a Druid of the Storm who is researching the sirocco and other types of desert wind.

Raheli finishes her water and explores the Caravanserai.

She hears a commotion at a nearby table, as some traders are arguing about a trapped Baited Jewel Box. Raheli asks if she can try to open it, if she can keep some of the contents. They laugh, and say they're happy to watch her try, and will even visit her funeral if she dies from the poison.
Disable 9: 1d10 + 4 + 1d4 ⇒ (4) + 4 + (2) = 10
Defeated by less than 4, so take damage and get 2 items.

Raheli concentrates and manages to work her hair into the lock's keyhole, releasing the latch. Poison barbs shoot out of the front of the box, but she casts Stone Skin to prevent any damage. Some of the traders cheer, but the box's owner starts yelling that she cheated.
Stone Skin recharge: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 -> fail
Inside the box are a pair of Glyphbane Gloves (Item 2) and a Smoke Stick (Item 1). She thanks the traders, and gets up to head out.

The box's owner stops her, and challenges her to double-or-nothing. He wants to see if she can unlock the magic in some of his other wares, showing her a Ghost Battling Ring and some Soul Stimulant.
Ring is next card, Caravanserai reveals stimulant. Choosing ring since I can acquire it.

Raheli examines the ring and is able to channel arcane energy into it, causing it to glow. The trader yells some more and storms off!

Raheli starts asking around at the Caravanserai.

She spies a Disrupting Rapier +1 (weapon 3) sitting unattended at a table. Almost involuntarily, she tries to grab it and hide it in her magical tresses.

The rapier slips from her grasp and loudly clatters on the floor. Raheli tries to slink away unnoticed, but all the eyes in the inn are on her. She laughs nervously.

After people finally look away, she winds up her Clockwork Spy and sets it climbing to examine the room. It reports that there is a magical Lottery Urn, and a jar of Mumia (random item), but not much else. Raheli sits down next to the Mumia, sets her bag down, and orders a glass of water.

On Raheli's turn, the top blessing is basic, so she buries a card from deck.

Suffering from the scourge of vampirism, Raheli flees, and ends up in an Embalming Parlor. This does very little to lift her spirits! Even worse is the Carrion Golem guarding the door! The golem smashes her in the back before she realizes!
BYA - discard Cure from top of deck.
Raheli dodges out of the way of the golem's other fist, and tries to trip it with her hair.
Combat 14, recharge card to use dex, using BotG: 1d10 + 2 + 1d8 + 1d10 ⇒ (8) + 2 + (2) + (10) = 22
The golem falls into a vat of embalming fluid and thrashes for a bit before ceasing its movement.

With a moment's respite, Raheli looks around for anything that could help. (Explore via blessing) She sees a spell scroll of Elemental Treaty and tries to read it.

Raheli flees in terror from the vampires, ending up in the Peasant Tombs. In her haste, she stumbles into a Camouflaged Pit Trap! Reflexively, she reaches out with her magical hair to keep her balance...
Dex 7, recharge item for 1d4: 1d10 + 2 + 1d4 ⇒ (9) + 2 + (1) = 12

Luckily, the vampiric curse seems like it has not affected her hair or her arcane magic. She grapples her way back up from the pit. (Explore via barrier)

But waiting for her at the top is Senenmerek, a skeletal cleric minion of the vampire! Raheli panics and whips anything she can find at the skeleton!

Providence is smiling on Raheli, and the creature is knocked back into the pit she just climbed from, and shatters on the bottom.

Breathlessly, she runs out of the tombs. She sees Seltyiel on her way out and urges him to follow!
