What part of Plano are you moving to ?

My group meats in garland but one of the players drives from plano.
Just email me if you want to join. We play sundays starting at noon till around 5 to 6 most of the time.

Not sure exactly what part I am moving to yet but I am definitely interested in a game...only problem is I will probably have a different schedule each week because of my job in retail so meeting on a certain day of the week might be tough consistently

also, what kind of group do you have...level and classes?

First I work retail as well. So I know what your talking about. If you need to miss some it's not that big of a deal.

Right now I'm running Kingmaker. The players are 3/4 of the way thew book 2, and are level 7.

Characters use 15 point buy. All standard and 0HD races allowed. 3 traits one picked by me from the players guide to kingmaker to tie your character to the game. 3.5 feats allowed on a case by case.

Current characters
Human Oracle of Battle (Str build, wielding Fauchard:reach, trip)
Half Elf Bard (Str build, wielding Fauchard:reach, trip)
Human Warlord (Tower Shield & Falcata)
Human Ranger (Composet Long Bow, & Duel Falcata)
Half Elf Rogue (Compost Short Bow, & Duel Short Swords)

Edit:
3rd party matiral is alowed as well. Or most of it there are a few exceptions.

I won't be officially settled into the Plano region until middle of November but am definitely interested in this if you could fit me in since it seems you have a lot of players as it is... I am not familiar at all with Kingmaker as I have only been playing pathfinder for a couple of months

Pounce special ability

Thank you...now what are some ways to acquire this ability?

How do you charge and get a full attack action off in a round?

3.5, which I asked if you were open to working with in my initial post and never got an answer.

Ok I just read it...and it's not exactly what I am looking for...does anyone know of a way in the pathfinder series that can give me a domain?

Planar Touchstone Feat: Catalogues of Enlightenment (Planar Handbook)

Your DM will have to rule which Domain powers you get and your Effective Cleric Level for them, my personal opinion is effective Cleric Level = Character level, but that's not set in stone anywhere.

Where is that book from?

Can you tell us for what purpose you want the domain?

Also, are do you have 3.5 material available?

I want to gain domain abilities associated with the domain...just wondering if I wanted to play a lvl 20 ranger how could I get a domain and keep goin with ranger levels

Is there any way or archetype a 20 ranger could obtain a domain? like from the Cleric list?

I know there's a PFS game in Plano every other weekend. If you join this yahoo group, you can get in on the details.

Thanks

Moving to the area toward the middle or end of November and I am looking for a game. Any ideas?

Is there a place connected to these forums like Wizard had that you could find a group in an area....I am moving to the North Park Mall area in Texas from Connecticut and am looking for a group...anyone know of a place to start looking? Thanks

Staff of Precious Blood

The Staff was filled with blood from an ancient dragon bloodline. Every time the staff was used the player would roll a d10 to see what level spell the staff would cast. The staff came with a list of 3 - 5 spells per level that it was capable of casting depending on what level came out on the die.

1 person marked this as FAQ candidate.

I know in 4E there is a way to perform a ranged flank but what are my options in Pathfinder?

Here's my input so far the Two weapon talent should not need the prequisites.

The extra talent Archetype is probably going to end up a trap option with the lowered damage.

Increased Finesse i would make it allow dex on damage with finessable weapons instead and require weapon finesse as a prequisite.

And yeah the precisionist has a bit too much going for it since not only does it get bonus dice and dice size but can take extra sneak attack even earlier.

I mean if people really think the rogue is weak then the precisionist does help it out a lot...I just wrote up a quick character at lvl 20 with the precisionist in it and was able to deal on average 909 dmg / round in my build. So not bad

Ok...So with the Precisionist Archetype and Extra Sneak Attack at lvl 8 a rogue could be doing 10d8 Sneak attack damage....To me that seems pretty powerful

So can I only extend my Flurry of Blows if I continue in Monk levels...like lets say I went 12 levels in Monk and then 8 in another class...would I be stuck with only 5 attacks since that's what flurry is at?

Ya I think my TWF build is a little better in the end...

The other class I was thinking of was the Ninja with the Ki pool

I think wild barbarian gives extra attack that doesn't specify to NOT stack with haste. also do you only want attacks WITH that 2h weapon? otherwise a barbarian with bite and twf/improved unarmed could theoretically twf some kicks in. maybe 10 attacks, 6 with the 2-hander?

What would be the damage with those...right now I am trying to justify going 2 Handed weapon instead of TWF

A monk can flurry for 7 attacks. Then add 1 for haste, and 1 for spending a ki point. (There is debate as to whether haste and the ki attack stack.) But 8 is pretty good too.)

I thought Flurry was for two weapon fighting and not Two Handed Weapons...

5 at level 16+ with haste and a full BAB class unless you are playing with someone and you both have the outflank teamwork feat then their critical hits allow you extras but even at 30% crit chance that will likely only add 1 attack per round on average.

I am talking about fully optimized...And I already know 2 classes that give you an extra attack in their class or archetype..

Can anyone tell me with full optimization how many attacks you can get in 1 round with a 2 handed weapon. Thanks
