I'm submitting Quatranius Apselemalar, gnome herald caller cleric of Shizuru. His stats and backstory are on his profile. As a herald caller focused on summoning and channeling he's not very unusal, but the gnome / shizuru combination appeals to me, and there's a nice picture in the npc guide of a gnome with a katana.
Progression:
For progression I usually prefer to be guided by experiences, but the main things are channel related, with some flavour for the summons:
Feats:
1 - Summon Good Monster (otherwise he can't summon anything at all for levels 1-2)
2 - Selective Channeling
After that things like extra channel, improved channel, quick channel, then expanded summon monster
