Undocumented: Qi'n is an undocumented immigrant in the United States. He has no legal ID, or legal status of any kind. More than that, he originates from a country that most have never heard of, is not recognised by official governments, and certainly does not issue passports.
Kid: Qi'n appears to be a child of perhaps 10 or 11 years of age. As a result, he tends not to be taken seriously, and may even be asked to leave while 'the grown-ups talk'.
Wise beyond his Years: Qi'n was a monk for 108 years before being forced to leave Chun-Lun. As a result, he has many many years of experience to fall back on. However, as his face does not reflect his years, his wisdom is often dismissed as a child's musings.
Tainted: Defending his home in Chun-Lun resulted in Qi'n absorbing vast amounts of tainted mystic energy. Doing so is what allowed him to defeat the attacker, but it has left him marked. Mystics, psychics, and some animals receive a sensation of 'wrongness' about that energy, leaving some with the mistaken impression that he might be a dark sorcerer in his own right.
