CRB tells us that 'All patterns are mind-affecting spells'. For example, when it comes to the well-known Color Spray, its school is described as illusion (pattern) [mind-affecting]--like the vast majority of illusion (pattern) spells, it has the [mind-affecting] descriptor.
However, the school of the spell 'Dazzling Blade' from Rival Guide is written as illusion (pattern)--clearly there is no [mind-affecting] descriptor.
So is Dazzling Blade mind-effecting just following the 'All patterns are mind-affecting spells' rule, or should it be counted as an exception since its target is 'one metal weapon' instead of creatures?
