Ollera perks up at the sight of Sister Emilia. She nods pleasantly as she greets her.

Em wrote:
Are the King's counsel not doing all they can to advise the newly widowed Queen at this crucial hour? Surely, with their loyal support, the people's suspicion will be lessened..."

Ollera frowns at Em's words, "I am sure there are many coming to her side right now. The problem is trust. My bet is that the counsellors are jockeying for position. The Queen is in a fragile state. We have not yet heard word on how she is responding. We are hoping to hear that from your trip to see her. Providence must have had its hand in your recovery of her brooch."

Garvid wrote:
"Spoke to one of them yesterday, a%~+!*& thought they're in charge, and the Guards aren't. Politely told him to shove that line of thought where the sun doesn't spread its glorious rays."

Ollera smiles politely at Garvid, but speaks sternly to him "Please leave your guard talk for the streets Master Garvid. This is a place of worship and asylum...not a den of thieves."

Mouse wrote:
"But maybe it's just that bein' noble's about as likely ta come up for me as it is for fish ta grow wings an' fly"

Her mood brightens at Mouse's simple yet profound words. "Fame and wealth seem only to increase trouble. Character is what matters and it can be found in all walks of life."

Mouse wrote:
"I mean, why're they riotin' against her?"

Ollera leans onto her elbow and looks around Garvid to make eye contact with Mouse. The Queen is an outsider. Many people feel like she swept in and seduced the King. He was known to be a playboy before she arrived. He became a one woman guy shortly after she arrived. Many question her intentions, thinking she married him for his power. Others think she loved the King. Many nobles seek power...that doesn't make them evil or unfit to lead." She cuts her eyes at Calcedon.

Garvid wrote:
"Thought that'd be the case. I seriously wonder why the hells people want to loot after something happens high up."

Ollera responds to Garvid, "There is quite a bit of economic disparity in Korvosa. I think the general public fears new leadership, especially from an outsider. The King had his demons, but he brought stability." She pauses and then begins again. "The good news is that the worst of the rioting is over. The city is still in chaos, but it is safer than last night. I hear the city guard is spread thin and that a third of the guard has deserted their posts."

Everyone has plenty to eat and are led to nice, warm baths. The men are taken to the same rooms they were in the night before with the bunk beds. Orcsson is given his own room and the ladies are taken to a separate room. Gimble wakes everyone around seven am.

After getting dressed, you are led to a communal eating area and served a nice, hot breakfast of egg casserole, fried meat, and fresh bread with butter. The group sits at a long table together. Ollera is eating with them. "I thought I heard someone mention items you intend to sell? The Bank of Abadar has closed its doors since the start of the looting. I doubt many business owners will be parting with their currency. There are rumor that the trade wagons are planning to bypass Korvosa due to the violence and civil unrest. Perhaps the church could purchase the items from you?"

Garvid: Feel free to spoiler waking to see Silvio and Cal.

The children giggle at Mouse's words. It is obvious that they are more comfortable then they have been in quite awhile.

Sister Ollera responds to Mouse. "Head on back to where we left Cal. Gimble should have delivered some food by now." She starts looking over Maretha. "We will have the sisters start heating water for you all."

Silvio wrote:

"She's like an older sister to me. Please. I need to make sure she's ok."

He follows them into the infirmity where the others Lambs are. "Whoa. Del. Are you ok? How are you feeling?"

Ollera frowns as Silvio sets his jaw, but her countenance brightens as he explains his reason and asks politely. "That is understandable." She nods at Cal. "Feel free to relax."

Del smiles at Silvio's words. "Much better! This place is awesome!" He notices Maretha. "Is she gunna be ok?"

Mouse sits down and passes on the news of Lamm. A look of sheer awe crosses their faces for a bit as they stare with their mouths opened. After a minute, Del speaks up. "Well the SOB deserved it." He looks at Ollera with guilt on his face. "Sorry." The other child chimes in. "You mean we don't got to worry 'bout him gettin us again?"

Ollera responds to Sister Em. "We will start immediate care of this one. The boy's mother has been in the chapel since dawn. You can find her in there."

Priestess Ollera meets you at the door. "Oh dear. You are in need of help. Bring the girl please." She leads the group down a series of hallways and points to the study where you waited the last time. "Gentlemen, you can wait here. I will have the sisters bring some refreshments for you and the boys." She points at Mouse and Em. "You two come with me. Bring the injured girl and the noble's son." She smiles at Carlisle. "Boy is your mom going to be happy!" She looks at Em. "Good job. Bishop d' Bear would like to meet with you after we deal with the children and you are refreshed."

Mouse wrote:

"Um, excuse me, miss? Those boys me 'n the others brought here yesterday, the Lambs, got hurt in a fight? They still here? They doin' all right? I got somethin' I'd like ta tell 'em, if they're still 'round."

"Of course. We are headed to the infirmary now." Ollera leads Em and Mouse down a series of halls and ends in the infirmary. The boys are sitting up in their beds smiling. They appear to be feeling much better. One of them addresses the Priestess. "Can we get sum more that sweet bread?...ummm please I mean."

Ollera nods. "I will have some delivered soon." She looks at Mouse. "Please lay the girl on the empty bed in the corner."

Silvio:

"Use it to do right. Your past is not what defines you Master Silvio...what you do with what you have been given today is what really matters."

Em:

Sister Ollera leads Emilia to the room where Lily is being treated. As soon as she sees the waitress, Em realizes the power that Bishop D'Bear wields. Lily is sitting upright in bed smiling and eating breakfast. The black rings are gone from under her eyes and she sits peacefully. Absent is the scratching and fidgeting Em had grown accustomed to seeing.

"Hey Em! Look...I'm already feeling better. They say I can stay. They even said they can heal my teeth with time."

Ollera leans in, "Our blessed Mother performed a remove disease this morning."

Silvio Only:

As you pick through the lambs' gear, you are startled by a female voice. It is the Priestess from last night. "He will not have need of that stuff any longer. The sisters are going to take care of him now." She gives you a warm smile knowing that you probably feel caught. "I wish we had been given the opportunity to care for you as well, but alas...that was not in the Lady's plan. She pauses for a second. "She has called you to be something more. You are special Silvio."

Ollera moves closer to you. "I have already gone through his stuff. There is one thing I found that is extraordinary." She pulls out an object that looks like THIS. "I had one of our wizards inspect it." She hands the monocle to you. "It allows you to see better in low light environments. As a matter of fact, it will allow you to attack vital areas even when there is very little light."

The item gives you the feat SHADOW STRIKE while you are wearing it. It takes away the 20% miss chance and allows you to sneak attack in low light.

She gives you a hug. "Good luck Master Silvio and may the Lady of Graves grant you success." She turns and walks away.

Silvio wrote:
"Been a long time since I've slept on anything other than old blankets on the floor. I don't need much, Priestess, honest. Just be nice to not have the rats try to chew on me, that's all. Really, you all can have the beds."

"Tonight you will sleep in comfort Master Silvio."

She turns to see Em walk in the study. "Well then...lets see you to your rooms."

Ollera offers for you to take the food trays if you would like. She guides you down various hallways and ends in one that has multiple doors. "There are four rooms with two bunks in each room. Em, Mouse, and Madame Lester will take this room. Orcsson this room. Garvid, Silvio, and Cal this room. If anyone else needs to be alone, please use the last room. Lily, you will come with me."

Four ladies dressed similar to Sisters Ollera and Emilia come down the hall a few moments later. They begin casting arcane spells. As they do, all of you and your clothes slowly come completely clean. It takes a few minutes, but the cleaning is thorough. As a matter of fact, even Cal is cleaner than he can remember.

"It is not as enjoyable as a warm bath, but time is of the essence. Some of you need good sleep to prepare for your day tomorrow. May Pharasma grant you all a good night of sleep."

She turns to Cal, "I am sure everyone would enjoy some music to help them rest. I think you will find the acoustics are phenomenal."

Sister Olerra waits a moment to see if there are any last requests. After everyone enters their rooms, she leaves.

Garvid wrote:

"Don't really know what a bear on a unicycle has to do with me, but, the message is still there."

Expecting the comment to go over the man's head, she answers against her better judgement. "It represents pure strength that cannot be truly tamed or trained...or stated in a less complicated way... a lot of power with very little control..."

Ollera wrote:

"I suppose I should ask if it's appropriate for me to do some playing. I can use the practice to be honest. I have a pretty important concert coming up, and I wouldn't mind an opportunity to play through a few songs. Do I have any objections?"

"Some music would be nice."

"There are no windows on this floor, so you are safe."

She steps back a step as Orcsson approaches. Whispering, "Yes. We can find you a private room if you have a...special need."

Mouse wrote:

"The cathedral - it's maybe the most beautiful place I ever seen. But...why's it seem so spooky outside? Ain't never seen a place that got my knees to shakin' like the walk in here."

Ollera looks around. "Yes...It is quite beautiful."

She walks a bit closer to Mouse. "Pharasma, who is also known as The Lady of Graves..." the Priestess performs a holy ritual with her right hand which involves touching her holy symbol and kissing the finger that touched it. "is the goddess of death, prophecy, and rebirth. She shepherds Golarion's recently-departed souls to their final reward. You see...upon death, all souls migrate to her Holy Boneyard to be judged and assigned to the place they will spend eternity."

She continues, "Being the clergy of the deity of death and rebirth, it is our job to oversee the protection of the bodies of these departed. I am sure you saw the thousands of graves outside of our cathedral? She hates the creation of undead...they are an abomination. She commands us to destroy any we find. Well, we have learned over time that it is much easier to stop their creation if those who would perform necromancy lack subjects to practice their evil arts upon."

"I guess that is why many find our dwelling so...spooky. People do not like to think about their end. We embrace it as a natural process."

Priestess Ollera returns to the room. "Sister Emilia...the Bishop would like to meet with you in the small sanctuary. I am sure you remember the way." She waits for Em to leave and then continues speaking. "Please take time to enjoy the refreshments. We are preparing rooms for you all tonight. Some of you may have to sleep in the same rooms. We have several bunk style beds. Do any of you have questions about the church that I may answer before I assign the sleeping arrangements?"

Mouse/Silvio/Cal:

After a few minutes, the doors slowly creak open. You peer into the darkness and make out a small hooded frame. A raspy female voice calls out to you from inside the darkness.

"Good evening. How may the Lady of Graves assist you?"
