That was my main question, because obviously, my character won't be level 3 by the time I play that game. I guess once at the con there is chance to trade to another game, maybe I will try that. I will make a couple characters for it just in case, but I would prefer to play one that has some experience in the world and has some worldly possessions. :)

I didn't realize the way the Pathfinder Society games worked when I signed up. I tried to get in on some of the progression games, but they were all full by the time I registered.

I think the best course is to wait and see, for that game at least.

One other question; is it OK to use the same character in all of the scenarios, or should I have one for each event?

Yeah, sure. Here are the events that I am signed up for:

#3-21: Temple of Empyreal Enlightment (1-5)
#3-06: Song of the Sea Witch (3-7)
#3-EX: The Cyphermage Dilemma (1-5)
#3-19: Icebound Outpost (1-5)

Those are the ones that I am curious about. Thanks for any advice that you can give.

This is my first time at the con. I was wondering if it is customary to make characters for each game on our own, does the DM usually contact the players with some sort of guideline for creating them ahead of time, or are there pre-gen characters provided by the DM. I didn't see anything for any of the games that I got into.

I hope this makes sense, hehe. I will be able to create characters at the con, so that's not an issue, but would rather have them constructed before hand since I do have the time to do it.

I just got my reservation. Yes, they still had at least Thursday at the block rate, but had to go the regular rate for Friday and Saturday. But looking at the room average it is about the same as the other hotels in the area as mentioned in the first post in this thread. However, the convenience of being in the same hotel s the Con is a huge advantage for me. Maybe some more rooms can be added to the block? :)
