About Phrixen
Appearance
He appears youthful, although few would consider him a typical human youth. His hair shows his elven heritage, being a silky silver. His eye color, one would also attribute to his elvish heritage, as they are a vibrant violet not unlike many a gemstone.
He is slender, not unlike his elvish heritage. However, much of his body frame is built far more like his human heritage... just skinnier. His facial shape is more human than elf, as is his ears, which only shows a tint of his elvish heritage. He seems to share a certain grace that is not unexpected given his elvish heritage.
He carries a staff a little taller than himself... appearing to have been cut from a sapling not too long ago, still appearing a bit green. The staff appears to have runes carved into it... oddly something about the runes have a far more older appearance than the staff that they sit upon, as if that could ever be the case.
Personality
Phrixen is generally quiet and reserved, often presuming people have no interest in him. His appearance makes him memorable, and stand out a bit, but he hardly appears exceptional as a whole package, and you might imagine if anything, as a child, he got teased more than anything.
There are a few things that will however quickly break him out to action.
The first thing is when he sees someone is injured, or ill. He is suddenly normally very quick to step forward and offer aid. Often, unless it is clear the severity, he will begin with traditional skilled care, but will quickly utilize a magic to provide a soothing healing.
Second, although he seems to generally ignore things said to and about himself, when bullies seem to begin to harass other apparently innocent souls, he begins to have another reaction. This obviously irritates Phrixen significantly, and he is often spurred into action. Generally, it begins with approaching the scene and attracting attention to himself, interceding on the other's behalf. It frequently involves Phrixen chastising the individual with a surprisingly intense verbal abuse. Something about the word choice and intensity can make even the bold seem a little disconcerted by the young man... even if they aren't completely sure of each and every one of the words, but the context of the message is enough to carry the message.
Those whom come to know him, find him intensely smart... but it does sometimes create a notable contrast, as he certainly does not always have have as much grasp of common sense, as he does some of the more intense details of how magics may interact, or the details of ones anatomy, be it human, elf or otherwise.
