So that 10 + 3. So my toal is a 13

If they try to run Photon will attempt to shoot a leg. Though at this point I am unsure how to do that.

1d20 ⇒ 10

Pho levels his sights on the new figure.

If Pho is aware of Raul's gift unlock...
Pho hunkers down even more, training his sights on Raul.

If he becomes a problem, the First would want this. If he causes trouble, it'll likely be centered on him. His impatience is unprofessional.

^ this is the only lead we have as to what's happening here

If they are non-Gifted, then we question them if they know where Gifted are. If still no, then we move on. Such tactics are necessary in this day in age. Though he did give a vote of confidence my way...cool! Photon think to himself.

probably about 30 min

Photon acknowledges Tenchi's tactic with a nod and also finds a spot for hiding and vantage.

Seeing that his allies did not sense danger, Photon catches up. "But if there is a gifted, we must give the ultimatum," his airy voice says seriously.

Photon can't help but be excited as he follows

Photon maintains his vigil, scanning for dangers. They're looking at something. I wonder what's up?

Photon takes a knee and aims at the pile. I finally get to prove myself.

Photon maintains his vigil at the back.

Photon silently follows the group from a small distance.

"I'll watch our backs," Pho whispers to the group as they proceed onward.

Photon sees the group freeze up ahead of him and and immediately readies his rifle and looks down the scope in the direction they are looking. After hearing the creature grunt, he trains his rifle on the creature, waiting for some sort of indicator whether it is hostile.

Photon trails behind a little ways with his sniper rifle out and ready. He manages to keep cool on the outside, but on the inside he is very excited. Finally I get to prove that I can be his right hand.

still here

Photon deftly moves over rubble and artfully scales a nearby building, finding a decent perch to observe a large area. Pulling out his rifle after finding a position, he utilizes his keen vision as well as the scope to look out over much of the wrecked city.

I'm not 100% on how to do a roll (i.e.What my target number is?).
Int or Wis (they are the same): 1d20 ⇒ 9

"Agreed. If we can find a taller structure we may be able to survey greater areas at a time."

This was the moment Photon had been waiting for, the moment he was made for. Though he was very excited he maintained his composure. He was going to make the First proud!

With his sniper rifle out, he ghosts toward the meeting position. He watches the others as they introduce themselves, then decides to do the same.

Stepping out of the shadows is a man clothed from neck to toe in tight, black padded armor. The chest seems to have some faded lettering '..W..T '. Two of the letters are illegible now. He has a belt that has a few things on it and a knife sheathed at his right calf. The man has a lean build. He stands around 180 cm and looks to weigh about 70kg. He has short black hair and a very dark skin tone. His eyes stand out however. Aside from the iris, which is white, the rest is pitch black.

"I am here as well. I am Pho" Phonton says simply.

I receive no stat changes from my powers

Finally ready, sorry for the wait.

I still need to do my facts. I am struggling though. Are our constant/passive abilities turned off regularly?

My apologies to all for my tardiness. GenCon took more of my time than anticipated. I will be able to post very regularly starting now.

Hmm...Photon doesn't really have any nuke-like abilities, but that may be okay...I will have to rethink how he will operate..

I'm thinking more operative, sniper with mobility and utility.

I had originally concepted Photon to utilize his abilities often with a decent amount of passives going pretty constantly.

Passive / No Major Effort Commitment
*base abilities from Night, Bow, and Sun(rarely)
*creation's first light (Sun)

Utilize often out of "encounter"/"scene"
Hasten to Light (Sun)
Road of Shadows (Night)

That being said, I got the impression that maybe that would be relying more on the powers than you had intended. My character concept was ideally very mobile (a bit of a teleportation specialist, utilizing both from Sun and Night). I wanted to check with you if I need to amend my character vision as it fits into your campaign. And, if so, in what ways I can keep to my concept as much as possible. Or, maybe put in better words, in what way can you see my character concept fit into your world?

I thoroughly enjoy creating characters with actual character. However, my process is to go from mechanics to personality / character. This way I can know how my character interacts with the world around him and can then, as such, build how these interactions would form a personality (i.e. Because I chose both Sun and Night, he sees the world in a different way that others. Because he manipulates "photons" or "light" he, in a sense, sees the world kinda like everything is underwater wherein he can control, to a degree, the water. Then I go further, how would that perception of the world affect how he interacts with people?). Because of this process, I'd like to iron out the mechanics before i can truly delve into who Photon is and what his personality is.

I will begin working on getting the mechanics for Photon onto this profile. I apologize for not having as comprehensive of a background, but I'd rather specify more as my understanding of the setting grows than have to retcon my background.
