Sorry to see you go. This was a really fun game but I understand.

My family and I am having some issues. I am not in a good headspace because of it as I am questioning our relationship. I do not know how reliable I will be posting so please bot me if I am lagging behind.

Sorry to see you go

"I would think getting one bulk issue taken care of first would be best. The lake sounds like it would be more dangerous so it should be the later option. We could uncover information pertaining to the lake before we get there."

Hillocks, then number nine, then the other numbers and lastly the lake.

No biggy. Bickering is always fun.

Turning to face Alphonso but not moving out of the close space, "I understand that. What I meant is by lashing out and making whatever his concern is about him being weak is simply going to make him angry. It could give validation to his malady. This place is dangerous, everyone knows that. I doubt someone like him should have come on this venture but he is here and we need him. Bickering will solve nothing."

Letting out a tired sigh, "It is harder to build someone up and much easier to break them down like you just did. But all that breaking down does is weaken the chain."

Crossing her arms and simply glaring at both men. It is a wonder that they are called the better sex.

Rubbing at her arms and starting towards those mountains, "That was roughly said. Less vinegar and more honey mister numbers. Especially with people we need."

50 Psychology: 1d100 ⇒ 79 I stood a good chance and the dice said no.

Quietly listening to the men talk back and forth, "Well I have been told most of the smart are a little insane."

Looking back out into the distance, "You can be angry about being here and that anger will effect everything you do. Making this even more dangerous than it already is. Or you can make peace with the situation you are in and let that anger go."

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I get that. This is one of the few games I have not had that issue in at some point. But I was here from the get go. If having more inter party conversations would help Phoebe am happy to chat Avery. Would that help?

Not being told that she wasn't invited Phoebe follows behind. The buddy system is important and entertainment is sparse here.

Did you get ahold of Stanley? Or is this just me?

So sorry! I was not showing something had happened! Phoebe would drag Stanley into this."

Smiling, "I do know someone like that."

So sorry. This was a bad weekend in my house with a lot of fighting.

Frowning at her attempt. Phoebe opts to have some man make sure she did it right. There are plenty of those around.

"Is there anything subject we should try and avoid with him?"

Nodding, "That would be the better option"

Nodding, "They were good people then."

Rubbing her hands up and down her arms as if that would chase away the cold. Staring at the makeshift tombstone, "We should go let him know about this and then see about getting all this ice dug up."

10 Geology: 1d100 ⇒ 30

"One can only hope."

Nodding, "We should either take it to him or bring him here. And I doubt you would be needed for the bodies. That is what I am for."

Fingers finding her necklace again and she quietly runs her fingers over the carved words, "What world do they think they found here?"

Is there some roll that can figure out where the foreign rocks came from?

Shrugging, "Sure. Though it all has to be dug out."

45 Spot Hidden: 1d100 ⇒ 83

Quietly moving though the area, the abandoned planes and fuel drums. This whole place feels like a graveyard, one that people says is haunted. Something sad and ominous weighs heavy over the area. It is far colder than those halls of the mad house but it has a similar feeling that makes her miss the noise of a traditional hospital.

20 Polar Survival: 1d100 ⇒ 41

Nodding, "At least two people a group. The ground her can be treacherous."

Exploring for me too.

Spot hidden 45:: 1d100 ⇒ 23

Silently listening to the man talk, though it sounds a little more like grieving not she would blame him. Nodding and tugging her coat tighter around her and moving out of the plane. Glancing up at those ominous mountains and staring for a longer than needed. The movement of others bringing her back to herself. Shaking her head and moving to look around.

Spot Hidden 45:: 1d100 ⇒ 39

Fidgeting with the ring that hangs around her neck though most of the flight and the only sign of her over acting nerves. Taking the opportunity to look around out the small windows. Letting her mind drift off as the hours roll by. At least until Moore speaks up. Turning back to the window and a small shudder rolls though her.

For a moment she is back in those dark halls with the mummers of the unhinged drifting around. Keeping her gaze on those ominous peaks, at least until the threat of this area makes its self known.

My laptop is messed up and I will try to stay caught up by with phone that is difficult sometimes

Scowling at the answer, "That is a vague answer and beyond unsatisfactory."

Glaring at Starkweather, "I am sure you be along in due time." After all the hard work is done. Lazy, glory stealing, swine... But I suppose I will be able to add my own version to the paper. With any luck I can get others to support that idea.

"We could draw lots. It is rather hard to cheat drawing a slip of paper."

Avery, darling, that is up to chance... Do you feel lucky?

Shrugging at the apology, "Think nothing of it."

Quietly listening before joining the conversation again, "You have to pick the ones you feel you can trust the most and hope for the best in that case. We have to do the same."

Tucking her arms around herself, "Were there any groups or individuals that had issue with your expedition or people in your group like that?"

I recall there being issues but there is a lot to look back though.

Crossing her arms, "Though you could speak to any of us as we all were there."

I wanna keep going. We lost a little steam, this is true, but we have survived that before.

Things are resolved. Thank you.

I am having some bad family issues so please bot me if I am not posting.

my threat was back at the med tent and nowhere near anyone but Stanley.

Sighing and shaking her head, "Don't take your agitation out on me. I do not like leaving people in need."

Huffing in agitation but nodding, "Of course."

Coming to a quick stop before turning and heading the the direction of Avery's shouting. Mumbling to Stanley, "Sorry. I did not mean to snap at you."

Glaring at Starkweather, "Why are we leaving so quickly?"

It was actually not as bad as they said. This is the first year in my two decades of living her that we got snow but no ice. It was weird.

Apparently there is some nasty weather coming and my state tends to shut down when that happens. If I do not post at some point in the next few days it means I probably lost power.

Clinching her jaw, "I do not want to leave bleeding people behind because of that man. Please go tell him if he plans on abandoning people I will make sure I make it back to the city and I will ruin him. I can cry when ever I want to and I would win that social battle."

Keeping busy in the medical tent and only abandoning her task for a moment to move quickly to the tents entrance to yell "Over here!" once she hears Stanley yelling for her.

Gonna assume that I am to far away to hear Starkweather.

I'm back and was that three success's?

Shrugging but not stopping what she is doing, "Trying times leave nothing for manners. No offence is taken dear."

Rolling her eyes as he pushes past her. Just like home. Taking a moment to look around the space before getting to work.

70 First Aid: 1d100 ⇒ 91 That is a fail isn't it?

"I am to help."

Shaking her head at Starkweather, "I am of more use else where." Looking around and asking when able to so she can find her way to the medical tent.

Life happens. I for one have been ok with it being a little slow. I have stabbed myself in the thigh, had a heavy box fall on my shoulder and hit the back of my head, and I think I pinched a nerve in my back. And that was just this week.

Smiling at Alphonso, "Thank you." I would only look like a fool. Alternating between rechecking her bag and looking around. Running any experiences with severe trauma injuries over and over in her mind. Gun shots, burns, broken bones, lacerations, concussions... The way the smell of burning flesh lingers in the nose for days and how long it takes to get blood off clothing.

I'm sure with time we could make moonshine. If you pretend then it is kinda the same.

Huffing but not assuming that she is going to get a spot.

Do they make the lady run?

Glancing at Avery, "It will be really cold and there are angry people with gun."

Turning to run back to her tent to make sure she has everything she will need.

Laptop is down please bot me

Lifting her head and glaring at the sliver of the world the peaks though her tent. Quickly sliding out of her bead to layer up as quickly as possible. Grabbing her medical bag before rushing out into the cold. Silently joining with the group and looking for Stanley.
