Ok so I've seen this on several cards. My next scenario in Trouble in Sandpoint will have my defeat Erylium. However my question is in regards to the text of Erylium when the powers say:
Before the encounter, choose a character at your location to summon and encounter a Wrathful Sinspawn henchman.
If I am the only one at the location, do I have no choice but to choose myself and not only encounter Erylium but a henchman first ? Im thinking yes because my hero is a character. But I ask in case...

I just bought it about 2 weeks ago.

Ok I've read somewhere that it is ok to hang out at a closed location rather than dying. My question, because it relates to difficulty of the game is it a house rule that we can do this or is it a game rule(part of the game) that we can hold out until the other characters finish the game or the Blessing deck times out ?

I'm playing solo and play my three characters Valeros, Merisiel and Sajan. Just completed Perils of the lost coast. Black Fang was defeated. My first try with Black Fang was missed due to time(blessing). The second try was epic. Black Fang cornered and one last Blessing card to play by Sajan. A blessing from Merisiel, and two by Sajan allowed for a sure win. Indeed it was.
However, going into Burnt offerings and future expansions, I'm wondering if I should level up a character that uses spells to eventually join up with my group of three ? It seems all the checks and some of the spells could become beneficial for the group as a whole. The only reason I stuck to three from the start was because I was playing all the characters and thinking four might be too much. But after playing a while now, it doesn't seem so bad. Except for the extra locations I would have to add. So basically I'm wondering if anyone has played through without using a spell caster.
