![]() I have a request for the GM. As I do level 3, I am thinking. A lot of my spellcasting is limited because I am always exploring with a sword and shield in hand, which means that buffing in the start of a fight is hard. Could we maybe implement a house rule to say that I can cast spells while having a sword and shield up and that would "expend" the use of spellstrike so I'd have to recharge it? ![]()

![]() I finally get to use magus special actions! Yay! Penflower casts a spell that joins a strike and raises his shield. Action 1: Cast Shielding Strike. It's a spell that, at the same time, I strike (Grothlut), raise a shield and recharge Spellstrike. Second action is Arcane Cascade. Third action is Magus' Analysis, which is basically a Recall Knowledge that with a 1 circumstance bonus if the strike hits. Strike: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

![]() About Otari: I'd like to know something that might signify that his spirit is still trapped in the fortress. Something like whoever performed his funeral failed to detect his spirit moving to Pharasma or smth. Doesn't my shield also take 15 dmg? If this is the case, then I drop the shield as a free action and cast the Shield cantrip instead of raising it this turn. Penflower coughs up blood from the powerful blow. His arm, still numb from the blow, manages to raise the shield again for protection. Also, he steps up to the minotaur and swings his sword. Stride, Strike, Raise Shield. Hopefully he's flanked and off-guard. Strike: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
