I'll be around so please contact me should your time free up enough to game again.

The magus quickly calls his feather to light up and then raises his hands. "Aye, take the potion. We've been around too many injured people lately and it's no fun."

He then adds, "I take it whoever did this to you is far worse than you are. Do you know who it was?"

not fair! I posted going with Bonegrit this morning approx. 8:00 am EST and this board ate my post! :(

Here's my post (more or less)

Pellius is just starting to rub down his companion after the tough two-day ride when he hears the call for volunteers.

Shaking his head and mumbling that a few more hours won't kill anyone, he pats Signior and steps up. "I'll go with you. It's probably best to get started as soon as possible."

Pellius looks at the visibly nervous would-be-herbalists. "Perhaps we shouldn't try to do something you are not comfortable with. It's not like these things abound. Why don;t we wait until the morning and head over to the hermit who said he could concoct the medicine needed?"

I want to start by saying that I am still very much enjoying the campaign.

Yes, the posting frequency has slowed down some (myself included) but the story still reads vibrant.

As you assumed, the medium doesn't help if you want to be subtle and drop clues here and there so I wouldn't mind if you were more explicit in your posts and use more 'ooc' to make sure we understand what's going on.

With regards to fresh blood, I'm OK either way. Fresh blood usually means a flurry of posts from the newcomer to try and wow us (you know, new brooms sweep really well and all that).

That being said, you seem to be able to tailor the challenges to our 'party' and able to keep things 'interesting' without killing us so I guess it's up to you. Introducing new players take time so watch your 'limited time'.

The plot compendium will be a bear to tackle at this stage but it would be a great addition if you're up for it.

In summary, keep doing what you're doing and don't be afraid to ask (demand) what you 'need' from us to make sure that the game is still enjoyable on your end.

Game on!

Happy to be back in the caravan, Pellius is hardly able to contain a silly grin on his face, "Aye, we have what we came out to seek."

He looks around at the consterned faces, "How's Dierik? Any trouble from the Sharpes?"

Pellius shrugs at the passing of judgment of Khozin. he certainly didn't trust the man but he also disliked the Sharpes and stealing wasn't a capital offense.

He kept his eyes on the rogue as he rode away and made sure the reins to the horse that Commor was riding were well in hand.

The magus quickly dismounts and sighs as he surveys the damage. "Aye, maybe we could treat them but not here and we can't really carry them with us."

He turns to Agtharda and Del, "Unless one of you wants to use some magical healing on them, we'd best leave them here."

He shakes his head, "If not, then we'd best ease their way to Pharasma's side..."

Signior neighs as if understanding while the magus calms him, "It's Ok old friend, no one's leaving you behind."

The magus looks at the paladin in disbelief, "What are you doing? I hope you're not giving up on him. Not here."

The magus looks at his foot and winces in pain. He isn't sure if it smells bad but it sure hurt like the devil.

Seeing no harm in the knight's offer, the young man says, "I welcome your gift but you should save some energy for yourself."

The magus then takes the old man's hand and they pray together to Iomedae.

He nods at Del's suggestion, "Aye, we can fashion some sort of travail and bring him along. In any case, someone in Freedom Town will be able to take him back to Lastwall."

He looks at the old knight and playfully chides him, "No arguing young man! You are to go to Lastwall and find some way to serve the Lady. You are not dismissed. You understand?

Nodding at the woman's agreement, he hands over the book with a sigh.

Although he wants to strike down the undead creature, he bids his time and addresses the wight as casually as possible, "It is interesting to hear your point of view but be careful how you address the Lady and don't compare her to the Harlot Queen."

He signs Iomedae and bows his head, "By the way, you do know who won that battle don't you? Who is a true goddess and who is imprisoned for eternity, right?"
