Hydra's fang for my groups required rest unless mass death was the goal. I allowed 1 rest period but just worked it into the story that time was a factor without giving them the railroad effect.
Silken Caravan you are going to get some rest. Silent tide was a judgement call on the 3 times I ran it. 1st party was 6 players and well balanced, no rest required.
and when I say required I mean the DM thought it was in the best interest of the party.
I know its late in the game but I got my Pathfinder #11 (came with #14). Better late than never ! Thanks for getting all my orders in my hands you guys rock. Darius Silverbolt wrote:

I was told to report in on this thread Darius Silverbolt Rukongai Corperation
May the Red Alliance fall in to shambles! Rukon has been around for 2 years and held space in Oasa as members of DMC and Cloud Ring as 10th Legion and looking to take more space. If you haven't been able to tell I am a huge Anit Red Alliance Goonswarm. If you looking to join and I am the head Director of PVP and the Capital Fleet. Send me a mail if interested. /ends recruitment speech. So how are you guys?! I have been playing EvE for 2.5 years roughly and have 33 Million Skill Points. I am a PVP'er for the most part (not a pirate) but will shot other when corp/alliance assests are online the line. I don't do the high sec greifing or things of that nature. Some of the ships I fly:
Phoenix Class Dreadnaught (Arcadia)
If you Seven Swords get war dec'ed let me know and I will help out and many many others .... :-)
I have played threw Shackled City and I am DM'ing the Age off Worms....so far its a hard choice between those two. I own all of the Savage tide series (haven't read them incase I am not the DM) and the pathfind stuff is great. My opionion is that you can't go wrong. I say run the Shackle city campaign and go from there. Granted with the beta rules you have to do some conversion but it shouldnt be to bad. I STRONGLY recommned if you party like to craft there own magic items them tie in a decent amount of downtime in between adventures.

I am currently running the age of worms campaign and we are clsoing in on th time of enterin the Tomb of Horrors. I have even cross linked the the campaign in many ways with the "item" they are supposed to recover and the demi-lich to Kyuss in my campaign. A revised pathfinder version would be awesome to say the least and ask that Nick Logue do the translation to um.....ensure how dealy and creepy the place should remain sinse he has the "creepy feel" touch.
3.5 High level play problems 1. All the bonus types and stacking can get encombursome. Even when a DM is prepared it still can get slow with it. I think that PF:RPG would best be served by reducing the number of "types" of bonuses. As a DM I force my player to know what bonuses are in effect and have that info ready on hand for me when it hits the bad guys. If not the spell or effect is countered. Its harsh but I run a 8-11 man group and if a DM is prepared its only fair to ask the players to be as well. If I screw up then players get rewarded somehow. No bonus should stack so people don't have to remember what stacks with what. 2. Swift actions and immidate actions One of the worst ideas brought into the game. Breaks the flow, iniative can be a mess with it, and I sometimes wonder if all of it was play tested enough. I am close to banning them myself to help game flow. 3. Getting the CR balance right Sometime you think you throw to much and the party wipes it. You throw a "easy" fight and damn near kill everyone if if you "fix" the bad guys dice rolls to help the group out. There is no such thing a perfect CR in high levels it is all educated guesswork for the most part.
Hey Again Paizo, I just came back from Origins and your guys once again did an outstanding job! I am once again not receiving issues for my pathfinder series. Issues 5 ,6,7, & 10 have not arrived. I have received email confirmations of shipping for each issue but alas the issues are not in my hand. I would request a replacement issue for each please. I have changed my delivery method to UPS becasue I no longer trust the US Mail. Thank You
