I just looked at the cover of Issue #130 (not yet available in stores) and I read the headline about drow in Eberron...I'm a huge fan of the drow and though they are mentioned in the Eberron Campaign setting book, it is only briefly saying that they live on Xen'drik and are quite technologically advanced...They use Khyber dragonshards to create bound elemental items....Anyway...I'm wondering if there are any other resources about Eberronish drow that i'm missing and if anyone has heard about any products in the future detailing them...And am I right in thinking that in Eberron, the drow like scorpions not spiders?

wow, madness is right. I have seen the picture for the new book of Abberations, and it was love at first sight. I need to know what's in the book before i go insane *twitch, twitch*

You might want to look on the Wizards of the Coast Web Site in the "In the Works" section. As it details many of the features of Lords of Madness....including some beholder varieties!

What's a gestalt npc?

I've been thinking....On the cover of Issue 119 it says "The Return of the Drow" but if you read through the adventure there are actually very few drow involved. Mostly demons. I see that the demons have ties to the drow but I would like to see a large adventure in the future involving alot of drow. They are the coolest creatures in D&D (in my opinion) and I've been trying to get my hands on The Harrowing though it says on the website that is temporarily unavailable...how long is temporary?..I'm just wondering if anyone else feels this way and if there are any plans for adventures involving the drow in the near future...

Overcomplicated NPCs are my bread and butter. I think that multiple classes/prestige classes and templates only enhance the backround of a character and make them more interesting. For example, a reocurring villain in my Eberron campaign is a Female half-elf Necromancer5/Ranger3/Eldeen Ranger of the Children of Winter1/EldritchKnight3/Havoc Mage3 (that's a bit much even for me)but all of her prestige classes are directly tied to her storyline (she trained amongst the rangers of Valenar though she was already a necromancer, it is a natural progression to be an eldritch knight, and the havoc mage was just thrown in because I was getting bored of the vanilla abilities of the knight. She now leads a large cult of the Chiildren of Winter druids and rangers...Most likely they wouldn't except her if she wasn't a Child herself. So there you have it, sometimes you need to have alot of classes to achieve the character you are looking for.
