you need to contact rpgahq@wizards.com to request RPGA membership cards to give to the players if they do not already have a RPGA membership. Patrick Jacobs
John Stockdale wrote: I have the same issue with the RPGA. I have sent them several emails regarding the unavailability of active senarios from #117 and the lack of senarios from #119. They, however, have not responsed. Dealing with the RPGA and their email only policy is like talking into a black hole. The senarios from #119 are now available, but now I have to ask where are the #120 senarios? Patrick Jacobs
James Sparling wrote: Can anyone tell me how to report the adventures in dungeon to the RPGA? All the adventures have a code to enter on the RPGA site but the site does not offer any place to enter the codes when reporting your events. Now please think about this before replying. I am greatful to all who try to help but I have been getting a lot of replys to my questions treating me like a jerk LOL. I posted this on the RPGA forum and got a step by step on how to report events telling me that I could only report oficial events not just any old game I played. NEWS FLASH, I know that already thanks LOL I have been a master level DM for over 2 years now thanks LOL You report Dungeon adventures the same way you report any RPGA adventure. Patrick Jacobs

I was going to put at least G1-2-3 on XEN'DRIK. Would you mind emailing me your conversion notes (save me some time and effort)? thanks, Patrick Jacobs

I am happy to mail these to you, but if you use a spam blocker to block anything not in your address list, please add me to your list before asking me to send the articles to you, or you may not get them. Mr. Jacobs, let me know if you want a re-send. No need to resend. I received the email with no problem. Thank you very much. My spam blocker doesn't really block spam. I need to figure out how to turn off the automatic reply message. thanks, Patrick Jacobs
I played D&D in the early 80s, stopped playing, and now that my kids are old enough started again so they could experience the fun I had. I liked Wil's column as it hit home with me. Focused on things not related to the rules, but aspects of a DM re-learning the rules, while trying to teach young new players. D&D is about having fun and socializing with friends and this is what I liked about the column. The rules are there to facilitate this goal. One page per magazine is not too much.
My first GEN CON was awesome. On the last day I won the Eberron Campaign Book at WotC booth, but you guys put the Icing on the Cake. I signed up for Dragon and Dungeon Mags (Free t-shirts!) and entered the drawing on Friday. You had to be at the drawings to win. They would draw like 10 cards before someone won. Anyways at Friday's drawing no dice, I didn't win. Every card they picked, I'm thinking, "Please be me." And then be disappointed when my name was not called. Again on Saturday and again I didn't win. Sunday at 3:30 they picked around twenty cards before they had a winner. Each time, "Please pick me", each time disappointment when I didn't hear my name, each time the "winner" was not there, so I get excited again. Finally they call the name of someone that is there and it is me. I took my loot and headed over to AEGs booth. AEG was giving out a free t-shirt to anyone who bought the book. I tolded the guy there that I just won the "World's Largest Dungeon" and he gave me one the the shirts. What a way to end GENCON. |
