PAco takes less damage than one might have expected.
Then, after checking with Prufrock for what to do next and seeing the rat/cat incline its head towards Maude, Paco moves that direction and sends a blast of watery pain straight at the blue baddy.

"Glaring angrily!" Paco yells with a smile as he comes walking towards the conflict with Prufrock mounted on his shoulder as all good kittens should be.

He then is actually helpful for a change as he unleashes a blast of water at the red foe.

There has been lots of talking and no blasting people with water, so Pac has lost all real interest and begin feeding some more rations to Prufrock the "cat" and begins discussing how no one else really follows directions because their coats are still rightside out.

Nodding in response as if Prufrock has given some sort of guidance, Paco prepares a waterblast in response if the newcomers happen to attack.

Paco being Paco, he'll need some sort of directions from an ally to set up the ambush as he's probably not entirely sure what's happening. Maybe make him think he's protecting Prufrock, the magical turncoat-cat? Paco's an excellent water cannon if you can point him in the right direction.

"So you're saying we should get badges? Got it! Come on, Prufrock!" and Paco and his faithful "kitty" begin searching for badges (or anything else that they may stumble across).

Paco continues feeding Prufrock and having a conversation with him about battle tactics they'll employ next time they lead the goblin army.

Can anyone use mage hand to try to grab a bottle from him before they all get smashed? Just an idea, and Paco certainly can't do it, nor can Boo. Miniature giant space hamsters are very wise, but not arcane casters.

"Bad kitty! No!" Paco says, holding the squirming and biting beastie in his left hand while wagging his bleeding right index finger at it reproachfully.

'This is for eating," he says, fishing some trail rations from his awkwardly inner coat pockets, "I am not made of food. Well, other than meat. Which is a food. So I guess you had a point," he concedes, holding the food up so the rat can bite it. "You are wise indeed," Paco continues, staring thoughtfully at the rat. "I think I'll name you Prufrock. Prufrock the Cat"

And with that, he continues feeding Prufrock the...cat.

Water blasting the grappled alchemist seems like a really bad idea and Paco is distracted anyway. Also, for those of you familiar with the Baldur's Gate PC game, my Minsc just found Boo!

Paco speaks soothingly to the "kitten" saying, "There there, little one...and here here as well."

Handle Animal: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (18) - 2 = 16

It's an untrained skill check with handle animal being trained only, so I'm expecting this to go badly. As Paco is focused on the kitty, he wouldn't necessarily be paying attention to the preparation for the alchemist, though a man in a floppy hat and inside out coat calling a rat "kitty" probably would fit in pretty easily in a drug den.

Paco seems completely unphased by the flash of light as well as the nasty sewage. However, he does recognize a target when he sees one.

"In the name of the goblin army, King Linorm will stop you!" he says, thinking it sounds heroic and/or that the beetle will understand and appreciate his braggadocio.

Water Blast: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

If Paco was adjacent to the beetle, he would have taken a 5ft step back before blasting

"Why would I hit your highness?" Paco replies to the druggie fully misunderstanding the question.

Sorry. Hadn't realized I hadn't put anything in his stat line. Haven't ever played him away from an actual table before.

Paco approaches a down-and-out, gives him a huge smile and says, "Greetings, good sir...unless you're a girl...I'm King Linorm and I'm here to see the alchemist. See? Turned coat. You are a guy, right?"

This may be the first time Paco's gotten higher than a 10 on anything charisma-based. I'm rather proud.

Can it be the same skill to escape as one we used to cause the issue? If so...

Paco hears the yelling of, "Fuzz!" Since he wasn't actually listening during the team's planning, he assumes the skinwalker requires something fuzzy. Therefore, Paco makes haste to nimbly exit the tavern and find a fuzzy toy, kitten, or cloak for his friend.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

Assuming that succeeds, he turns his attention to finding something fuzzy for the skinwalker.

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Paco, encouraged by his comrades to interact with the tavern's patrons, decides to join in with making a mess. Therefore, he tries to run and leap onto the bartender's counter and start kicking drinks and bottles off of it.

"I can make a mess too!!!" he yells as he rushes and leaps...

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

and does, indeed, add to the chaos and mess-making.

"I have decided we will go to the tavern first and something about coins and the elf. And yes, he does have long ears," and he joins Maude in looking at them. He then absent-mindedly tries again to put his hands in the pockets which are still inside of his inside out coat.

Paco is bad at skills. He also fails at intelligence, hence won't come up with any meaningful sort of plan on his own. however, if he were to be convinced he was to woo a fair maiden (who happens to be with a particularly aggressive and possessive partner), maybe failing his roll as bad as he's likely to do would help start the barfight if we're going that route?

And since Paco has no real idea of what they're to do, he doesn't actually start to lead the anywhere specific. Instead, he just wanders about aimlessly.

"Aha! This appears to be a piece of paper." announces a shaggy-haired fellow in a floppy hat even as he seems to forget about the paper and drop it to the ground.
"Now, to the business at hand," he says while removing his coat, "I am Linorm, king of the trolls of Heim and leader of the goblin army," then he leans forward, gives an obvious wink, and stage whispers, "I'm actually Paco Bumblekins. King Linorm is just my cover story," and he gives another obvious wink while continuing to fuss with his coat.
"You may have recognized me by my magical hat gifted to me by the Society for my great exploits in banishing the haunted pumpkins from the sewers of...somewhere...Absalom maybe."
At this point, he begins putting his coat back on, though it's now inside out. "Anyway, back to the matter of the business at hand, I now have a turned coat. I suppose we're ready to begin." And he then starts trying to figure out how to put his hands in his pockets which are now on the inside of his coat while standing over the now long forgotten note.

About Paco:
Paco misunderstands something about every mission he goes on and it adds to the character. The hat is from a goblin bard and was just an obscure detail, the pumpkins were a bluff told by a party member, and the goblin army and title of King Linorm came from the mission briefing during the Frostfur Captives. And for those of you who missed the bad pun, Delroya is called a "turncoat" which Paco heard as instructions of "turn coat."

Level 1 water kineticist if you have room for one more at standard. He's got low int and cha, so he's not charming, but not smart enough to know it and creates fun role-play moments as he tries to interact with NPC's.
