I am looking at another aspect of this now. Once cast, how do you get rid of it. It is an instantaneous effect, so it can't be dispelled. Is it still a magical effect, or perhaps spiritual/holy/unholy? Can mages disjunction remove it?

If a character class grants a spell-like ability that is not based on an actual spell, the ability's effective spell level is equal to the highest-level class spell the character can cast, and is cast at the class level the ability is gained.

Does this seem backward to anyone else. Why would effective spell level increase as a character advances and Caster level remain static. It would mean concentration checks made to use the spell like ability would get progressively harder to make as you advanced levels.

Where do you find this?

I found it by searching for spell like ability on the paizo PF site.

In 3.5 many spells and all magic item creation had an experience point cost. I thought that perhaps that had been eliminated in Pathfinder.
Then on page 551 of the CRB I read this:

Creating magic double-headed weapons is treated as
creating two weapons when determining cost, time, XP, and
special abilities.

I cannot find any other reference to xp cost. Is this a mis-print? If not can you please direct me to the proper page for the xp cost of creating magic items.

Ok, I am an unmodified Human, so I have a base speed of 30 with a zero speed in all modes of movement besides land speed. If I use haste or expeditious to increase my land speed to 60, does this count for climb and swim checks? Meaning that I could move 15 or 30 feet, rather than 7 1/2 or 15 feet. Expeditious retreat affects only land speed, and Haste affects all modes of movement up to double your base speed.
