Hello, all! This just looked like the right place to introduce myself, so here goes. I've been gaming since around '82 when a friend showed me his AD&D 1E books (PH, DMG, MM). Went and bought the Basic D&D box set (with the Erol Otus cover) almost immediately, then got the AD&D books as time went on. Played throughout the 80's (mostly D&D and super-hero rpg's), then went through the 90's not playing anything, but still collecting game books as a fun read (mostly super-hero, but others as well). Got the itch to start up again right before 3E came out, helped found a great group, and we played right up into the 4E era. A few months back, the group realized we just weren't that into 4E, and since I (and the DM) had been getting a lot of Pathfinder stuff, we decided to switch, and finally played our first Pathfinder session a couple of weeks ago. It was great! Rekindled some "gaming flame" in us. We now play a mix (Pathfinder, Rogue Trader, board games, I'll be starting an M&M 3E game sometime soon), but just wanted to say how fantastic it was to finally play Pathfinder!
