I’m similarly unsure what would be an obvious error to fix vs a change that increases difficulty, which is prohibited.

There is a creature in a scenario with +132 to it's attack. (Pretty clearly it was changed from +13 to +12 or vice versa and someone forgot to hit delete / backspace. I guess it is lucky it wasn't on the damage line...)

While I’ll agree that’s a very obvious error, that really doesn’t address the question.

I agree. I think that the text should include this update:

Quote:

- Run combat encounters without deliberately increasing difficulty, except as dictated by the scenario or to correct obvious errors

Why does the special edition PDF cost $50, while the standard edition PDF cost $30? Is there a difference in the content between the two?

(Note - I’m talking the electronic PDF, not the special binding vs normal binding.)

Since the PDFs for this one aren’t out yet, can I make a request that they include both print and screen resolution (300/150 PPI) as well as grids and gridless versions?

I both play in person and online, and I have a good printer. So getting these as PDF/PNG allows me great flexibility.

Also, do these match up with forest, or with the caverns?

Would including a gridless version be something Paizo might consider, given the popularity of VTT these days?

Grid and print resolution (300 PPI) = for in-person
No grid and screen resolution (150 PPI) = good for VTT.

Right now, it’s kind of a mix of screen resolution and grid. :D

Versions with and without the grid?

Pathfinder Maps Subscriber

What is the PPI of the PDF/digital download? Print resolution or only screen resolution? (i.e. can someone give me the X by Y size of this?)

Does the download include versions without the grid?

Heads up - the link on the first post here leads to a broken site. Since this is the pinned post in this forum and the first post says “here’s the link to organized play”, you should consider editing the post and updating the link for noobs like me.

I too am disappointed at the discontinuation of the AP Pawns.

However…there’s a solution if you have the PDF of the AP. there are programs that will extract all images from a PDF. You then take the images of the monsters you want and copy/paste them into a Word document. Print on card stock paper.

The only issue is to make them stand up. If you have access to a 3d printer or a friend who does, then it’s simple. Print a base.

If you don’t have access to a 3d printer, then do the old trick of printing two copies, cut one from the top down to the half-way mark, cut the other from the bottom up to the half-way mark and put them together.

I admit that the 3d printer option is better.

2. Rather than having Alak a chance encounter; I've made him a key(ish) town NPC. The town; still culturally inclined to procedure and law from old Cheliax rule, refused to hear Warbal's request and told her to wait until the next Call for Heroes in one week's time. After all, how big of a threat could it be that it scares peaceful goblins? However, Alak happened to be in Breachill as a waystop on his travels to Castle Alterein and promised to look into it for Warbal. After all, he was heading there anyway for all the same reasons listed in the book.

...

How did you handle the Imp encounter? Are the imps just kinda hanging out there, waiting for someone to corrupt? Or did you skip them?
