My players have started a campaign based on Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne with some steampunk mixed in. I will be using Pathfinder books to build it and I have assess to a lot of them But dont worry if your references are in 5th i have most of them also. Please leave any references in book and page format. The story so far is based in 1880-1920. A older gentleman has went deep into a mine trying to find a rare material. His daughter hasn't heard from him in 2 months. She has since hired a crew to go down after him little did they know what awaits. They have since lost the entire crew either lost or dead. They are all currently lvl 3 and non of them are magic users. Gunslinger with a steampunk arm that runs a railroad up top and currently has broke his real arm. And a ninja hired to protect one of the npcs that she has let die. A giant beholder has started calling the center of the earth his home. Dreaming of the perfect world I have dubbed him the great creator and most of his beams have been replaced with non lethal creation spells. He is considered rare cause he has dreamed children in existence and gave them corners of the inner world to make there own and whoever shows him they can do it gets the upper world as a prize. They find themselves in a black sand desert and at the door step to a pyramid dreamed into being as a place of worship to the pink beholder that runs a city close by that they have yet to find. Treasure hungry they decide to explore the pyramid and thus this post begins.

Now the idea is he has been making small worlds in caves trying to come up with the perfect civilizations when he fails he moves on and makes another leaving the first abandon. My players our very low magic and do not plan on being much more than fighters or gunslingers. Now here is were you come in I am looking for some cool ideas for rooms or areas for them to explore or run into. I have access to every pathfinder book out so if we could use them for references that would be awesome. Thank you for reading all this and if you leave any ideas thank you for your time.

The story so far is based in 1880-1920. A older gentleman around 70-80 has discovered insert A reason to know about the center of the earth. He needs funding and skilled individuals. My Pcs are both leaning toward the rich background being backers of the older gentleman. Now too get to the meat of the post I would love some help with any ideas. Ideas as to how or why they should go. How to get into the center of the world whats down there and why? Maybe a few Npc to join them on there journey with backgrounds. Thank you agin for reading this Will be working on this setting for the next week and would take any suggestions seriously.

It's just that the rooms don't have walls. In the case of this campaign all of the mini dungeons will have walls but will keep this in mind. Me and my friends are playing the new legend of Zelda and are in love with the idea of the shrine being incorporated into dnd. So I have made a new world and reason to have shrines in the world. Now i have made a few but I feel like my players will be breezing through them one after another if they can. So I need to come up with some ideas for mini dungeons. The world I have created is after a huge catastrophic meteors have hit the world and sent the wold back into the dinosaur age everywhere has giant creatures and not as much civilization the shrines are made to hold the knowledge of flora and fauna of the world before the devastation. Each win will get you one 6th of A stat point. And i would like them to be related to some animal (or any monster in any book I have them all.) And some plant you can use any real or fake world plants. So any ideas for mini dungeons would be awesome.

There's a Soulbound Mannequin for adult sized. I like the idea of the soulbound and will use it I am looking for more monsters be them from dnd or folklore that I Can use. Ok if you have every watched the anime fairy tale this will explain it. Our parents made a Adventure's guild there kids (Our PCs)are on a quest to help that archeologist. While deep in the dig site they found a contraption that when poked and prodded open up a door to a shrine deeper in the dig site. Were they were confronted by said cultist. After defeating them. They Completed there quest with the Archeologist and secured passage on a carriage back to the guild which goes through a valley were they were attacked by (Unknown bad guys could be cult or other.) But they were knocked unconscious without seeing anyone other than the duelist. They all 3 woke up hung on a wall without there items by there hands in maniacal But not there feet but they are off the floor buy about 3 feet. They didn't look around and the pretty boy duelist has been sitting in the dark across the room watching them. One of the pcs has a Chameleon companion which was sent to try to find there items only bringing back the fighters sword and And a few other smaller items. With that the fighter broke free and then locked eyes with the duelist and charged him and that's were we are.
So sorry this is confusing we rotate Dungen mastering duties it is my turn to Dm. I was a player now I am dungeon mastering. The world is built But we add onto it all the time. We are currently level 2 and in a dungeon setting In a cave. There is one NPC That is the duelist he could be the leader or not that hasn't been decided yet. The only determined background is that they have been captured and are not outside. they are in one room and haven't seen any others. Now as THE DUNGEON MASTER I was just looking for some new and fun ideas to toss at the players that maybe they haven't seen before.
Characters Are All mix Breeds.
I know the characters are weird sounding but the Dm is very open and this is the 5th generation of kids that we have played them all. We have went deep into a archeologists dig with some of the archeologist. and found a cult of npcs that seem to worship flies won that fight and got out alive on their way there carriage gets hijacks nnd took into a cave were they are hung from a wall After getting free. The fighter Comes into contact with A pretty boy duelist. That is were we stopped would love some ideas feel free to include homebrewed items, Monster, Npc. So i am looking for.
