I am trying to download the Starfinder Core Rulebook as a single file PDF which I purchased a few minutes ago.

After clicking on the "Download" link and waiting a couple of minutes for the PDF to personalise, I am left with a link to a 143 bytes file. When the file downloads, it's just an empty .zip file with no contents.

Just to clarify, I can download the "One File per Chapter" version and some other books from my Download Library just fine. I have tried resetting the operation with the "Problems downloading this file?" link a number of times now and always get the same result.

Many thanks for your help!

I grew up in Bude many years ago and there was a weekly games club at the Parkhouse Centre that used to run every Thursday evening from about 6:30pm onwards. It was still running last year as far as I know, so it is likely still running now.

While not a massive group, we often had two different RPGs going at a time with a few people playing board games or card games. Definitely worth visiting, you might find a group there who are looking to play or you might be able to find some players to run something on another night of the week.

Hope you enjoy Bude! I'm afraid we're living in Vancouver now, so it's unlikely that I'd be able to come back for sessions :p.

I mainly wanted to second the suggestion of 'web-sized' versions of the E-Books. While they look nice on my iPad, rendering a page takes 5-10 seconds on average, which quite a long time when you're 'flicking through the book' as it were.

@Blave; Using Acrobat Reader (at least on a mac, but presumably windows too), you can export the per-chapter PDFs to a text file. It comes out pretty ugly, but I did a few 'search and replaces' to get rid of all of the liscence lines with my name / email on and a couple more to replace any lines that end with a full stop to have a blank line underneath and it's actually come out pretty readable on my phone.
