Is that really the rule or is it no more than one AUGMENTED ioun stone in a Wayfinder (because that's the rule I read)? If the 1 Wayfinder/ioun stone limit is only to augmented ioun stones, then it would be possible to have Wayfinder A with one cracked ioun stone; and then Wayfinder B with another cracked ioun stone and have both cracked stones confer their base benefits (obviously neither gets an augmented benefit).
Am I missing something?
