Eye for Plunder (Campaign):
You’ve always had a keen eye for the glitter of gold or silver, and you’ve robbed enough rich merchants and raided enough ships to have a feel for where the most valuable plunder is hidden. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Appraise and a +2 trait bonus on Perception checks to find concealed or secret objects (including doors and traps). In addition, you begin the campaign with a selection mundane trade goods worth 50 gp that you were able to scrounge together during your first day on the Wormwood.

You found yourself relatively well off when you got your share of your last voyage’s plunder, and decided to spend a few of your hard-won coins at the Formidably Maid, a popular pirate tavern in Port Peril. Maybe the shine of your new wealth distracted you, however, because you never saw the miscreants who slipped something into your drink, knocking you out cold.

Back Ground:

Ordrax was one of 15 eggs to be laid by his mother. When he was born he had black scales and his mother used that to gain influence and power within the tribe. She claimed that the great Raaliauth, a young adult black dragon conceived the black kobold and that he was destined to be a great chief one day. As Ordrax came of age he was constantly pushed to be better than the rest, told how great he was. When he showed no signs of Draconic heritage his mother was killed outright and as was all 14 of his siblings. He fled into the tunnels with a short stub of a torch and a few gems. Not possessing the Darkvision of his kind he was hard pressed to survive in the dark. He maid it to the surface and quickly made it to the town of Port Peril. After quickly trading gems for equipment and supplies, he made his way to a tavern to look into work. He felt it was time he made some sort of living. Then he will return to kill each and everyone from his tribe. Once that was done he would make sure the black dragon would pay for his part in this as well. Accepting the treasure from the tribe in exchange for protection did not sit well with Ordrax. The last thing he saw before he woke up on a ship was the sign to the tavern...Formidably Maid
