Background:

Orbious was born in the Verdurian Forest, on the Isle of Arenway. Orbious is the son of a sea elf and a lillend azata - both of whom still live, though he would never know his father, the azata. Orbious has two siblings - both of which are younger than Orbious.

Orbious was born into the lower class. Orbious mother was a peasant and his father, the azata, did not maintain contact with the family.

Orbious's major child hoot event was he won a competition.

Personality:

Orbious is quick-witted, gregarious, thoughtful and studious. He is disciplined and driven to succeed. He is intellectually curious continuously seeking to expand his knowledge. Orbious is honest, caring, conscientious and loyal to his friends.

Appearance:

Orbious has long silver hair, pale blue eyes and brown skin. Orbious has multiple sets of ram horns and antlers jutting from both the top of his head and from under his ears. Orbious is tall with a lithe frame of sharp angles.His eyes are the hourglasses of goat eyes. Orbious walks with the swagger of an accomplished artist and aspiring explorer. His arms and chest are heavily tattooed with arcane insignia. Orbious's numerous scars belie his time spent in taverns and his checkered history of drunken bar room brawls. Despite his life as a starving artist, Orbious has an easy smile and pleasant demeanor when he is with friends. Orbious's charm and otherworldly appearance are well known on the streets of Almas.

A Passion for Art:

"My dreams are my inspiration", whispered Orbious. The buyer looked on in wonder as the tiefling quickly chiseled layers of stone from the green alabaster facade. An ornate scene of impossibly high soaring towers began taking shape.

The man marveled at the strange architectures depicted in the alien city scape. "This is no earthly scene. How can you know such a place?"

Orbious continued to furiously carve the stone - a creature of writhing tentacles and slippery coils began to take form. The creature was perched on a temple throne and was worshiped by a sea of human supplicants. The creature had the gaping maw and leering eyes of a predator. Eyes that regarded the viewer with an eerie familiarity. "I've been haunted by these visions my whole life. I've never been there, yet I know it as well as my own land. I've made it my life's work to study this place."

Orbious turned and pointed at a recently completed statue in the city
square fountain. A forlorn spire guarded over a rocky ocean isle. "I believe the land to be the legendary Azlant. A land of death for the uninitiated, but for the prepared traveler, a land of undiscovered wealth and power."

Orbious, returning to the nearly complete bass relief in front of him, chiseled in the unblinking eye of Aroden into the temple mount. The juxtaposition of Aroden's holy symbol with the aberration on the temple throne made the scene that much further surreal. "Fabled Azlant - the progenitor of our civilization and culture. I believe that I am destined to travel there to find my fate. May Gozreh save my soul ... "
