Here is what Pathfinder has to officially say how to play beyond 20th level. They have given these guidelines

Advancing Beyond 20th Level

** spoiler omitted **...

Good stuff and thanks for the link.

"." for future viewing. I look forward to seeing how things play out.

Hmmm I would have to say my Rakshasa Rogue (gestalt - race/class game). We entered a War-Torn city after a failed Teleport. This place was under full WAR. War mages were casting huge area effect and every block we went we had to take cover in a building to rest and recover.

We hit one block and the Were-Tiger Monk went down along with the Mindflayer Wizard and his Runeslaved Owlbear. I managed to make it 1 more block before my DR and SR gave out and I went splat. It was an EPIC powered game, fantasy warfare is brutal.

So do you have any races you want to mess with? Saying things like Kobolds all know the secret of making the best ale and they use 17 secret ingredients that they won't share with anyone?
From a pure financial standpoint I bet you could use this ability to make alot of gold. Being a Dhampir and chaotic... were having some trouble in Mendev with the Crusaders... I like to mess with them but their a pretty powerful group... lol

Gold is the way to go... with enough gold you can purchase anything you need, problems just tend to go away. Crusaders... if they give you enough problems higher Red Mantis assassin to take care of the problem causer.

I try a rumor based on how the band is tied to a prophecy (in the distant future) that will bring about the closing of the world wound. The Crusaders would then get behind you and you could turn a possible enemy to an ally.

I would work the rumors in your town that you have businesses set up in. Tear down your competition and build up your companies reputations so you can reap all that filthy lucre...

I have not tried that yet but its kinda door open or close with our group. If they open it for one player the rest want in... which I find funny that they all want to play 3.5 but no one wants to DM it???

I agree PF has more powerful Base classes but the new PF PRC's (Archetypes) are not near as colorful and much more limited then 3.5 PRC's.

I am not so sure that the archetypes are more limited unless you mean their are not as many of them as 3.5 has prestige classes, which would be true.

Have you just tried asking for the builds you want and select feats? Just curious how much compromise you have tried.

I don't consider 3.5 broken, in fact the Pathfinder base classes are much more powerful.
