My favorite part of it is that I often have 3 of my weapons in hand, or a piece of junk that I picked up somewhere. Instead of discarding at end of turn and hurting myself, I'll just recharge for someone's check.

More than once I've been down to 1-2 cards on the turn right after my own. My turn goes pretty quickly at that point.

I will be very sad on any scenario that the ship is anchored :( Tessa just becomes another explore.

Wait... I've been playing it as though it just decreases it by the bonus (+5) and the d6... I get to reduce it by 1d12, too?

And here I was about to ditch it for another spell when I find one.
