The cheetah weaves in and out around the pirate captain, threatening to knock them off balance. He looks to the owl and growls before timing a bite at the pirate's leg when the owl swoops at their face.

The cheetah looks to the owl on the mast and snarls. Enhanced by Alvarius' magic, the cheetah darts and weaves through the pirates; the owl swoops down to join him.

Stopping amongst the rigging behind the bosun, he bites and claws at the pirate while the owl claws at their eyes.

"If a fey is willing to cohort with the undead, then the fey is an raveller and deserves no such mercy," the amurrun growls quietly from behind his wooden leopard mask.

"Onye Dinta wonders if the giants will parlay," the catfolk says. "Onye Dinta is hesitant to attack first. The fearsome appearance of the giants does not reveal intent."

"Onye Dinta determines that Nicholo received more than long ears from Ezgara," the catfolk observes.

The amurrun stands guard over his companions while they search. "Indeed," he agrees with Alvarius' assertion.

The catfolk collects some of the mundane spears scattered in the room. "Onye Dinta thinks that adding the wood from the spears will help strengthen the fire," he suggests to Ezgara.

"Onye Dinta suggests vigilance as the unravelers may return," the catfolk warns as his companions emerge from the water. "Drying--somehow--would be wise."

The amurrun growls as he thinks on Daehalya's answer. "Not long under the water, but still wet and cold on the other side," he muses.

"The gambit would be safer if there was time for warming and drying before engaging the foes," the catfolk laments. "How like did the journey take Dahaelya?"

I don't actually know if there's a rule for the effect of being wet in the arctic to consider.

"Onye Dinta wonders if, forewarned, traveling on the ice and snow would be safer than soaking and freezing," the catfolk posits.

"Indeed," the amurrun agrees. "Daehalya has been gone for a long time."

"Onye Dinta agrees with Daehalya," the catfolk says. "The naiad may be persuaded to turn cause."

The masked catfolk yowls as his feet are pulled out from underneath him. Twists back to a standing position and begins a chant, "Tha spioradan àrsaidh a’ chruthachaidh, a’ gabhail còmhnaidh nam chorp."

At the conclusion of his incantation, his body is enveloped in a mist. As the mist recedes, it reveals a snow leopard standing in his place.

The amurrun slips on the wooden leopard mask as he is woken. "Onye Dinta does not understand what Sakuachi means," he says. "Sakuachi is sounding like Ezgara."

"Sailing is not a thing that Onye Dinta knows how to do," the amurrun says. "Rowing? Yes."

"Onye Dinta agrees. Fire should be effective in deterring the plants," the catfolk says. He places the javelin back in his quiver and draws his flyssa from the wooden sheath at his belt.

The amurrun growls forlornly.

"Onye Dinta understands what Nicholo and the dragon are saying," the amurrun says, inching back away from the dragon. "When Nicholo is speaking in the language of the unravellers. The language of humans less so."

"Onye are defined by actions not appearances," the amurrun answers Nicholo. "And appearances are more deceptive for gatewalkers. Alvarius and Grundle are helpful."

<Outside the Cave>

The catfolk's black mane crackles with embers as he takes note of the blood and flesh scattered in the snow. "Onye Dinta will see what there is to find," he says before slowly creeping into the darkness.

"Onye Dinta can do this," the amurrun asserts. Reading the list, he determines that it is best to arm the woman and determines to steal the weapons back.

Given the warning from the mercenaries, the amurrun prowler creeps carefully toward the sound of the groaning.

"Onye Dinta reminds Daehalya that the tribe will leave by boat," the amurrun notes as he waits for direction through the cursed streets.

On four legs, the leopard is not so inconvenienced by the scree and bounds around the hobgoblin to divert their attention. He bites at the warrior.

The masked catfolk moves toward the other door within the first room. "There is only one other choice on this side," he observes.

"Onye Dinta can deal with these thorns," the catfolk asserts. "They are the hobgoblins that attacked Sakuachi and the tribe."

"Onye Dinta and the tribe were hunting the fey unraveler called Kaneepo," the amurrun explains in the most confusing array of statements. "The hunt was successful but the trail let the tribe across the planes and then across the stars. The tribe arrived in Skywatch through an aiudara. Sakuachi required help."

"Onye Dinta," the catfolk states. "Onye Dinta will help Sakuachi find the lost guides. Onye Dinta will prepare."

He then goes to examine the weapons and armor of the electrocuted hobgoblin.

At the very least, trying to Refocus once.

"The tribe," the catfolk says pointing at the other gatewalkers in succession. "The Consortium of Epopts. All who walk with Onye Dinta."

The amurrun scratches unconsciously at the rune on the back of his neck. "This is an auspicious meeting. It might be wise to bolster the strength of the tribe before more raiders come looking."
