Shalla leaps into the man, tearing bloody rents in his already battered form. As the man writhes, dying on the ground, his skin begins to glow red-hot. His body stills, and silence reigns for only a moment, before fire explodes out from his body engulfing the room.

Olo exhales smoke and fingers his scortched beard. "Nice work bird..."

Olo shakes the blood off his axe...."Miregold, I would like to have a few words with you, once you've been healed..."

For Itsgottabeodin:
I will search the house to see if I find any proof of his "crimes." I need to do that for a faction mission and perhaps use that to get him to agree to a business deal...he he he.

We're coming to the tail end of this....thank you very much for running! Work and Gen Con distracted me a bit but this was fun!

He misses, and leaves himself wide open for an attack by Olo.

Olo chuckles. "Clumsy, eh?"

Olo swings his battleaxe, already covered with the creature's blood.

Attack/Damage rolls 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 71d12 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

And Olo may have missed...too cocky!

The Exchange

(When it is his turn) Olo grunts and swings his great axe in the darkness....

Attack/Damage Rolls 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 231d12 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Precentage roll 1d100 ⇒ 66

The Exchange

Olo lights up a sunrod and throws it into the room as far as it will go. He lights the second sunrod and straps it to his back with some rope. Once done he draws his ax and takes one footstep into the room.

"If anyone wants to accompany me, stand close....I don't trust this room."

The Exchange

"Aye," Olo says with an arched eyebrow. He pulls the rope again with a grunt.

STR 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

The Exchange

Olo yells in frustation and will eaith get out of the gondola or move it closer to land (if it exists!)

STR1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

The Exchange

Olo grunts..."Swarms....I hate this mission..."

Olo tries to pull the gondolas closer together.

STR 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

The Exchange

"Well...," Olo smiles, "Perhaps there will be something in the dark to fight!" He steps onto the platform...

The Exchange

"We should carry a couple of sunrods or have ways of creating bright light handy. I suspect quite a bit more of these things..."

The Exchange

Olo chuckles as he swings again...

Attack/Damage Roll: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 241d12 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

The Exchange

"Finally," Olo snickers as he moves up 10 feet and attacks the creature.

Attack/Damage Rolls: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 221d12 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

The Exchange

Olo looks for a secret door....

Perception check 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

"Hmmm....I don't see a door....although I suspect one is there...."

The Exchange

"Maybe it should make his eyes hurt," Olo askes, gripping his axe handle tighter. "Ask him who he is and why is he here."

Marianna pipes up from the back, "It looks like he wants to bargain!"

Olo sighs and slowly gets to his feet, using his ax as a a makeshift cane.

"Talk, talk, talk..."

Dungeoneering check to see if I can identify the "man" - in case he is a certain creature: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

The Exchange

"He, he , he. If only looks could kill," Olo replies with an arched eyebrow. He tries to kick the door open...

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

The Exchange

Olo cracks open a fresh sunrod and hands it one of the team members. He motions to the door with his axe and whispers...

"Ready?"

The Exchange

When it is Olo's turn he will dash up and take a swing....

Attack/Damage: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 61d12 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

"A wood doll. <Sigh.> Is there no flesh and blood for my ax tonight?"

The Exchange

Olo's going to wait a few seconds and see what happens. He may just hack at the organ and see if that annoys the doll....

The Exchange

Olo lights up another sunrod and drops it in the center of the room. He moves up to the organ, ax in hand....

The Exchange

Will save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
Will save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

"Clear... you first Olo." She says with a smile.

Olo arches an eyebrow and gently pushes the door open, his ax at the ready...

Ok, cool...let's keep going. I may be a bit slow to post here this week. I'm in Seattle for most of the week on business and then staying for PaizoCon..wahoo!

The Exchange

I'm with "Marianna" in some other games and he has been MIA for a couple of weeks... looks like Mike might not be coming back either. :(

Ack....should we pull the plug on this one then? Not fair/much fun for you if you are running a game with just two players.

The Exchange

"Well," Olo grunts, "Let's get moving then...."

Olo will gently push open the other two doors and step inside the rooms. He straps one lit sunrod to his back and takes three more.

The Exchange

"Hmmmm..."

Olo steps into the room and looks around....he opens the crate and if there are in fact sunrods in it,lights one.

Perception roll 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Nope - nothing here to see....:)

The Exchange

"Never turn your back on blood, friend."

Olo moves to the door (with blood seeping under it). He holds his axe with one hand and gently pushes the door open (assuming it is not locked). He'll look inside and step in if need be for a better look.

The Exchange

Olo shrugs and walks down the stairs to help....

Moving down the stairs surprisingly quietly, Shalla peers around th corner before speaking softly to Olo, "Maybe we should take it down and help it, it doesn't seem to be in any condition to threaten us, even if it is hostile."

Stealth (take 10)10+7

"Hmmmm....there is a chance that it is a trap of some sort...I'll leave it to the party to decide...

Olo shrugs, indifferent.

Olo won't care, but if we wind up killing an "innocent" - Ed the player will feel like crap! :) But I really don't trust that thing, whatever it is....I vote we kill it or incapactate it in some way.

The Exchange

Olo walks back a step, motions for Mariana to follow. And then he whispers to the party....

"I have no idea what that thing is....but that nail was to keep it there. I suggest we kill it/put it to sleep....before it sees us..."

Please give me a marching order when you decide to descend down the stairs.

Olo can go first...unless the rogue would like to scout ahead for traps, then he'll go second, right behind her.

The Exchange

Levistus wrote:
He looks expectantly at the dwarves.

Olo arches an eyebrow...."I'd better kill something in the next hour...or get something to eat/drink. Thank the anvil I am not a gnome or I would be turning white by now!"

Olo pushes and pokes at the possible "sercret door" with his hands.

The Exchange

In the kitchen store room...

"Hold on," Olo says. He stands close to his team and whispers as he points to the back wall: "Something is off. That back wall. The dimensions just don't add up. A secret door? A trap?" Olo shrugs.

The Exchange

"Don't worry," Tambric says soothingly to Olo, "if it turns out they lie to us, you can hunt them down and cut them up later."

Olo calms down slighly...

"He, he, he...."

The Exchange

"By the anvil! Why are we talking to them? I want to cut up at least one of them!"

Olo holds the handle of his great ax tighter, his fingers turning white...

Olo's not playing "bad cop." He's really annoyed that he can't hack one of 'em up. He's a bit of a sick puppy. But he knows better then to go against his team.

MAP, so no surprise kill. Olo.

Grrr...but I totally agree with your logic. My "secret phrase" bluff sucked ...:)

The Exchange

Olo burps loudly....and holds his stomach...

"Errr....excuse me...I think I need to use the toliet..."

Olo gets up and moves to E 10 (walking past Levistus) and once there he pulls out his great ax and whacks at the man at E9.

Attack/Damage roll = 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 211d12 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

"He, he, he.....torches....."

The Exchange

Olo shrugs and hosters his great axe on his back harness. He grabs a hunk of bread and chews...

Olo thinks to himself: "They are lying about not hearing our knock - but they may have good reasons....."

"Darklands....nasty place that...but gold is gold and business is business. I've heard impressive things about your establishing tade below."

The Exchange

"Well....I know this is a formality...but should we not exchange the weekly secret pathfinder society phrase? I know it is silly but rules are rules...."

"I say: An owlbear may be hungry for chesse but... And your response is..."

Olo motions with one of his hands for the response phrase to be given.

Bluff roll (There is no weekly secret phrase) = 1d20 ⇒ 16

The Exchange

Perception roll = 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

"We mean no offense...is this not a Pathfinder Lodge?"

Marianna d'Bourdelay wrote:
"If we're all carrying weapons, might I suggest we keep them at hand?" she said quietly.

"He, he, he," Olo says almost in a whisper, his eyes glinting as he takes the lead, his great ax in his hands.

The Exchange

Something's wrong..." Olo smiles as he slowly spins his great ax handle in his hands and thinks of hacking into flesh with it.

"Let's walk around this place and find a back entrance."

The Exchange

Olo steps up to the door and gives it a gentle push to see if it is locked.

The Exchange

Olo, seeing all the drawn drapes, arches an eyebrow. He pulls his great axe from his back and holds it firmly in his hands. He stands at the foot of the stairs (if there are stairs) or five feet away from the door as Levistus knocks on the door.

"If no one responds in a few minutes, I suggest we look for a back door."

The Exchange

Olo enjoys the first act...falls asleep during act two...wakes up at the start of act three....

The Exchange

"It could also be that Skeldon has encountered some trouble and is not trying to cheat the Society for what they paid for - unless he has a reputation for not honoring his business agreements. I’ll be sure to chat with him and find out what’s what.” Olo adjusts his great ax on his back and looks at the group. “I’m ready to be off…unless anyone has any more questions.”

The Exchange

"Well my friends...old and new...off for some culture! We do not want to be late..."

Olo glances at the red tint in the sky and chuckles, thinking how it matches the color of the "king's" insides during his last adventure.
