The door remains open. Ballar, Zae, Bud, and Niversal turn to Oliva for inspiration.

“Well, let’s be on our way then, if everyone is ready.”

As the group follows her out into the hall she looks left then right, then left again, and says, ”yes, this way, but are we missing someone?”

Just then a tall lanky fellow dressed in the gard of a “hero of old” comes walking down the hall. His mask and long gloves hide his identity, somewhat, but you recognize his gait and know it is Keryth.
Just then, a small blue animal, resembling a cross between a house cat and an elephant, with feathery wings, scuttles between Keryth’s legs, nearly tripping him, and then rushes right up toward Oliva as if it intends to pass her with no regard, intent on some target, but the Dungeon Minion stoops suddenly and scoops the creature up in her arms, ”Well aren’t you adorable,” she says stroking the animal affectionately.

The animal seems to enjoy the attention, but after a moment struggles to be put down.

”Good, you’re all here. Let’s send you on your way.”

After a hurried walk through many corridors, doors, side passages, stairs, both straight and circular, up and then down, you are brought to a room like one you have seen before.

It is a sort of logistical control room, with many dungeon minions sitting at desks or crowded around tables spread with maps and scrying devices of every kind. A large, single mirror is set on one wall, covered, mostly, with a blue drapery (you can see the silvery glass between the curtains which do not come all the way together.

”Through this mirror,” Olivia says, ”Is the world of Alodoa, the mountains of Baravkovia, and the castle you need to reach. The mirror will take you to the village on the lake shore, four miles south of the mountain pass that leads to the castle. You can enter when you are ready.”

When Isaiah ask the woman how she has been, she blushes, as if he has triggered some memory she is uncomfortable with. She smiles, puts one hand behind her head and seems to fiddle with her thick braid, while she closes her eyes and says.

Oh, fine, I’m fine. You said a druid? There was a druid here, a Maetaur woman I think, a week, maybe two weeks ago. She was here before I arrived but there is a druid here, his name is Greekory, I think I heard him mention her once or twice. She was looking into some stories about a old ruin to the west, but I don’t know where she was headed after she left here. Why don’t you introduce me to your friends.

Her eyes open and she looks at Kerak, and blushes again.
Meanwhile, the kobolds of the village begin to gather in closer to the strangers, and a few of the kobold children take a keen interest in Merrum, as if they have never in their lives met a Halfling before.

I know PbP games are often difficult to keep up with, information wise, but everyone should know that the Kobold warrior introduced herself and stated this was Jewel Water Hollow, not Limecracker Hollow, which was the Kobold Hollow you were trying to find.

Isaiah, Isaiah La Fontaine, is that really you? I haven’t heard about you being this far south? Last time I saw you it was in the library in Gimean, on the coast of Palicadia. Don’t you remember me, Yvonne. My father was a farmer on your father’s estate. We used to play together, until you left. Then we ran into each other a few more times along the coast as we were both looking for work. Damn it’s so good to see you. What brings you here?

When Valind suggest being lowered into a shaft, Karl suddenly becomes more assertive

"No! We aren't putting anyone else at risk anymore. We'll take a quick look down each shaft, for Pellido's sake, and then we are out of here." He makes a chopping motion with his hand to the side when he is finished talking.

”Yes, guards is more appropriate, to accompany myself and my associates on an expedition to a ruin to the north. Ah, um,”

”Good evening, my name is Karl Drespor, you may remember me from the caravan. This is my associate, Miss Rentour, Jeannine Rentour. I’ve been asking around the fort today about the possibility of hiring escorts, -“
