![]() Neat. Ogren has been to Nar Voth before and actually has a Darklands-specific boon he can make use of. I'll assume for the purpose of the post that we've already been introduced, since we've apparently been on a long journey already. "Never thought I'd be back here so soon. Smells familiar even on the other side of the map," a dark-haired dwarf rumbles as he he acknowledges Venture-Captain Li. Ogren has served as a guide for much of the trip. "Tell me where you need to go, and I'll get you there," being a common refrain. While swapping tales of your exploits, you've learned that he specializes in underground locales. As is typical of him, the dwarf is well-equipped at the gathering. A shovel and a mining pick are strapped to his pack alongside more common adventuring gear. ![]()

![]() Ah. I've played & GMd those two out on other characters, so no worry on my end. ![]()

![]() What series is this supposed to be part of? I didn't see any notation for that in the scenario blurb. ![]()

![]() Was just looking over Anatoli to see what he does that wasn't mentioned. The listed AC looks kind of high? My quick calc comes up with 23 constant-basis AC, not 32. I could be missing something though. Vindicator's Shield could be part of it, but I'm not sure that would be 9. ![]()

![]() I'll be bringing Ogren Runeaxe for this one. I don't have his character sheet together yet, but he is a level 10 dwarven ranger. His Ranger talents are in the shield style (but not shield-bashing) so he's a frontline tank. Name: Nathan Goodrich
GM: he kept the normal Stonecutting racial ability for dwarves, so if you want to pre-roll some Perception for him vs unusual stonework ala trap spotter, his base Perception is +16, +2 for Stonecutting & likely modified by +4 Underground favored terrain. ![]()
![]() I'll just chip in to say that I don't understand why people take favored enemy: human so aggressively. Sure it becomes relevant more often than other favored enemies, but humans are not very hard to kill. I tend to save my best favored enemy choices for things that are difficult to deal with or are otherwise scary, like evil outsiders or constructs...perhaps undead. Favored Enemy: Human makes a good secondary +2 choice but I see a lot of +4 human selections and it just seems like so much overkill to me.
