I may be completely nuts here but I vividly remember a magic item but can't remember it's name or the book it appeared in. The item was a map that effectively saved locations for later teleports. Once you'd been somewhere it was stored on the map and you could later teleport too it without fear of arriving in an incorrect location. It effectively removed the error from regular teleports. Does anyone remember this? Or any other magic maps for that reason?

I just figured I'd chime in, I liked the skills as they were in alpha 1, I've thought ranks were always a bad idea since the beginning of third edition. I only used them because they were a slight upgrade of prof. slots from 2nd edition. The system you had was great and going back to a blocky and time wasting system of skill ranks is a step in the wrong direction to me.
